Chapter 51 - The Vowed

Lory doesn't understand what are they talking about, her mind stuck with the words 'Zhao Li Xin' and 'married' she becomes stiffed she doesn't know how to reacted or said in this situation, she doesn't have rights to question him or stop him.

Zhao Li Xin feel the small hand inside his palm suddenly become cold, he sees her stiffed expression and he scarred she would be misunderstood with the situation, he lifts her chin gently "I'm not gonna married with anyone….." he said firmly.

His firm confirmation settles her chaos minds "But….The emperor…" She knew the consequences for denying The Emperor order, she begins to worries for him.

Zhao Li Xin heart turn soft when he sees her worried face, he cupped her small face he stares to the big beautiful clear eyes he can see his own reflection on her eyes and it give tickles to his heart "No one can force this Lord to do anything he never wants to do, not a king, not even a God" he said solemnly "Only I who can decide who I want to be with...….." he caresses her cheek softly.

"Take her home, keep her safe. Without my permission no one can enter Ninjing Manor, Kill if you must!!" he commands Mong Yi with a stern face, then he let go of her and turns around and leave.

Lory's heart begins to tremble with every touch he gives, she doesn't want him to let her go her heart aching so bad she never feels this bad for a long time, it's different kinda pan she used to feel for Lucas, this one is different but it hurt as much. "No!! I'm not that weak idiot!!" Lory stop being polite "I'm stronger than you ever think, I know what would you do to survive and if I must choose between you or them, I will choose you in a heartbeat!!" she knew what it takes for someone to survives in this world she knew what it takes to survive in this cruel world she knew his hands not clean but so was she, long time ago her Father said something to her once....

Her heart begins to beat fastly she feel nervous about what is coming, she nervous for Zhao Li Xin safety once again she wishes she had her 'Gift' then she could created shield to protect him or called win and water then create small tsunami to wash this place away, how she wishes she had her power now, it's all because that damn Serpent!!

On the other table, Lao Min Na watches Zhao Li Xin and Lory, her eyes brimmed with anger and hate.
