Lory eyes back and forth between the ledged and the wolf below, she accidentally hit pebbled she hissed and stop breathing, maybe the wolf is too immersed with their meal they hardly notice the sound of pebbles crumbling down from the cliff. She sighs in relief when the wolf didn't hear her, she manages to leave the wolf den then she slowly climbs down.

[I think we save now…] Lory sigh after reach the ground.

[Yeah, I think so…] girsha not so sure, this whole place swarmed with so many beasts who knows what else they would find, it's better to stay vigilant.

Lory suddenly hears a growl behind her back, her body becomes stiffed her eyes grew wider she glances at Girsha who also look anxious, she turn around slowly, behind her a wolf glare at her with bloodshot eyes the beast bares its fang while growls at her. Inside Lory already cursed with everything she knows, then the wolf jump at her, she immediately dodged this time Girsha not stay idle.

The bird flew around the wolf to annoyed the beast its give Lory time to draw her arrows at the beast, she released poison arrow right on the beast head, the beast howling with pain with the arrows pierce its head, too bad the other wolf hear it's calling, Lory prepare another arrow for incoming wolf.

Another wolf wants to strike her from behind but Girsha flies on a high speed gauging the wolf eyes with his small beaks, the beast jolted in pained surprising Lory, she immediately releases another arrow to kill the wolf, she knew she can't fight them alone she runs immediately while the wolf chasing her.

The wolf is quite powerful even cultivator cannot handle them easily how could a normal person like her could against them, Lory wracked her brain trying to get away from the beast, Lory see a small hole on the wall without hesitation she jump into the tunnel and crawl inside the tunnel, the tunnel is quite small even someone with small body like her need to squeeze to crawl inside it.

The wolf keeps hitting the hole until the dirt crumbles on her face, Lory cough roughly when she inhale dirt and dust she can barely open her eyes from the excessive amount of dirt and dust cover her eyes.

Then suddenly the wolf scared stiffed, the snot in front of her suddenly disappeared leaving loud whining and all of sudden she felt the ground trembles and wolf whining increasing, Lory wiped her eyes she looks bewildered what was going on.
