Chapter 117 - Fire Dragon

It took preparation to infiltrate the palace, the map inside the palace was provide by General Fu and Hei Shen spies had confirmed where the Princess is, so it's supposed to be smooth sailing from here on.

Lory take a long hot bath the moment she arrived at Ninjing manor, she half daze when she soaked herself in the tub, she takes too much time in the tub the water starts to get cold, Lory try her luck by casting a spell then a dimmed purple rune circled appear above the water surface, in a second the water temperature raised, water, wind and healing is her natural gift there was a time she can do this spell without thinking as people turn on television, but now she feels amazed she actually can do it without hurting herself, she doesn't know if she should be happy or sad?

[So, you can be a stove] Girsha suddenly perches on the side of the bathtub.

[Yeah…this is as far as I can do, sadly this is my limits] Lory said with an exasperated sigh.

In another room Zhao Li Xin sitting alone in his study room he fiddles the black ring on his thumb, he immerses in a deep though, then he straightens his back slowly and he takes a long deep breath at the same time he closed his eyes.

When he opened his eyes his no longer inside his study room, the sky is cloudy, the pale yellow grass covers the ground but because this place is to dry the grass become yellow and brown and in front of him there's a cliff, below the cliff the vast ocean unfold with no ends the sounds of wave hitting the wall echoed in the air, in a distance he saw the volcano mountain erupted, the lava flew down slowly to the sea when the lava and water collide together they make 'hiss' sound and a gray smoked flew on the air, the temperature in this place is quite high thankfully is not affecting him.

All of the sudden from beneath the ocean the water surface suddenly rippling a moment later in a flash something burst out from the bottom of the sea, a Dragon as big as mountain appear his red ruby scales glowing brightly under the ray of light, the Dragon roar loudly his body pierced to the high sky make the Volcano mountain shaking and spill fire and lava to the sky, he is the Azure Dragon Huo Long who reside inside Zhao Li Xin black ring.

"Well-well-well, look who's here, the great Prince Zhao Li Xin, for what purposed your highness visit this humble one" Huo Long words might polite but he definitely mocked him.

Zhao Li Xin's face unperturbed as if he didn't hear anything "I'm not Prince anymore" he said indifferently.

"So, I've heard…." Huo Long smirked, he doesn't care at all "What do you want, human child?"

"Power!" Zhao Li Xin said shortly.

"Hmph, with Immortal power you've got no one can beat you although it's accelerated your poison....ooohhhh wait, what is this" The dragon giant head sniffing Zhao Li Xin body, he covered his nose with his sleeve it's uncomfortable sniffing by giant hairy-nosed in front of you "No poison?" Huolong eyes become widened from shocked "Who healed you?" he becomes curious.

"None of your concern" Zhao Li Xin brush him off.

See the protective manner from him, Huo Long becomes even more curious but this boy is extremely stubborn he wouldn't say anything even if he pushed him, Huo Long snorts indifferently "What kinda power you want, you who possed divined body and peerless talent, what more you want? Do you want to rule the world, or do you want to purge all your enemy into ashes, so tell me boy, why do you want more power?"

Zhao Li Xin's face remains expressionless but the face of a certain woman smiles sweetly at him makes his gaze soften, the dragon didn't miss this subtle change.

"There's someone I want to protect, I need to control the Immortal Flame completely, I do whatever it takes!" his words calm and steady his eyes shined with determination, the Dragon amused he never saw him like this most of the time he looks like a walking dead man, there's nothing reflected in his eyes, he never seen human he have empty eyes like him but now as if his raised from the dead, there's a vigor, determination, and hope in his eyes.

"Including become my servant?" he probes further.

Zhao Li Xin clenched his fist "Yes!" He said without hesitation.

The Dragon burst to laugh, but it more like thunderous sounds that shaken the ocean surface, Zhao Li Xin annoyed but his not going to change his mind, he is not gonna lose her again he will use all his power to make sure her safety.

"Is it a girl?" Huo Long teased.

"Yes!" he replied smoothly.

"Is it?" Huo Long face lit up "What kinda girls she is, is she beautiful, Is she cute, what makes you like her" he raining Zhao Li Xin question, Zhao Li Xin annoyed because he was spit by saliva from the giant Dragon, he never knew this old Dragon can be a busybody, no one told him before.

"SHUT UP!!" Zhao Li Xin loses temper, Huo Long surprised but then he laughed again, Zhao Li Xin frowned he didn't know why Huo Long seems in a good mood, for as long he remembers Huo Long always mean, mocked and ridiculed him since when he becomes this lax.

"Easy boy, I am just curious" Huo Long stifles his eyes turns warmed when he stared at Zhao Li Xin, the truth is he never hate this boy on contrary he genuinely worry for him, have so much potential but lacked of spirit, this boy is a perfect vessel for a bad entity, a man who lives without soul that's how he describes Zhao Li Xin. The idea of making him a servant is a way of Huo Long to protect him from evil but he never told him since he won't believe him, that boy believes no one, so why should he bother to explain.

"Teach me how to control the Immortal Flame…" Zhao Li Xin said almost like pleading.

Huo Long snickered "It's not like I didn't want to teach you but at that time you incapable to learned it because of your lacking"

"My lacking?" It's the first time someone told him his lacking something "Is it because the poison, I'm cured now so it would be fine isn't it?"

"No, not the poison….. you're lack of heart" Huo Long giant claw nudged Zhao Li Xin's chest "What you don't believe something so powerful control by something so simple?" Huo Long chuckles while Zhao Li Xin didn't answer only his eyebrows furrow showing his disbelieved.

"The only emotion you know is anger that's why your Flame become so destructive, it kill and destroy everything it touches, but Flame is not always destructive, it can be warmed and give you comfort just like fire inside the furnace or the bonfire in a cold night but the old you could never understand this, so it's useless to teach you but…..the new you is different, isn't it" Huo Long pressed his giant face to Zhao Li Xin who stop him to get closer with his hands.

"You look confused, surprised and a little bit irritated" Huo Long scrutinize Zhao Li Xin's expression.

"That because your giant face is too close…" he look irritated and somehow embarrassed when Huo Long read his expression.

Huo Long pull his giant head away from Zhao Li Xin, he chuckled lightly "For a decade I see only emptiness and hatred on your face is quite unsettling…." Huo Long murmured "But now I see so many emotions inside you…." Huo Long's gaze becomes tender he looks happy and relief, Zhao Li Xin never saw him like that he can feel warm creep into his cold heart.

"Okay, I will teach you how to control Immortal flame, luckily seven days in this place is one day outside so you have plenty of time boy!!" Huo Long laugh exaggeratedly "If you spent two days a guarantee…"

"One day!!" Zhao Li Xin abruptly cut him off "I can live too long, she'll be worried," he said firmly.

Huo Long Smiles slyly "Next time bring her here, by the way, is she got….you know female Dragon with her…" he raised his long eyebrows a few times like an old pervert who makes Zhao Li Xin annoyed again.

"She got a bird, a male bird!" Zhao Li Xin said crudely.

Huo Long expression turn to disdained "Bird, I don't like a bird, I allergy with a feather" he clicked his tongue annoyingly.

Zhao Li Xin's faces become dark, didn't he said the bird is male and this Lizard is worry about a feather? Turns out he doesn't know this Dragon too well, he noted himself not to bring Lory and Girsha to this place until he knew That Lizard is 'save'

"What are you looking at? I don't like humans!" he chides Zhao Li Xin.
