Two months back in time.

That day, Alexei was still busy with his duties. The setting sun poured into the Oval Office, making Alexei’s beauty even more pronounced as he sat with his back facing towards the window. It’s hard to imagine that for seven years he had run across the battlefield and fought with his sword in his hand. His tanned skin had turned completely white since he took the position of emperor.

“Your Majesty. Our relations with the surrounding countries around have all calmed down considerably to the level where we can stop worrying for now. Why don’t you marry and welcome the Empress soon? Your Majesty has suffered so much in the struggle for the succession to the throne, you must know that. Your Majesty would also need a suitable empress to back him up.”

Alexei crossed his long legs and smiled up at his vizier Sergei.

“……Your head is dazzling in the reflection of the sunset.”

At his words, Sergei quickly ran his hand over his head and touched his hair as if to confirm whatever he had thought of.

“I still have hair on my head, unlike my father!”

“Just kidding. But we should welcome the empress before your head ends up going bald.”

“I’m not going bald.”

Sergei Bazarov is a calm man with a brilliant mind like his father’s, the previous Prime Minister, but he gets upset when his hair gets pointed out, so Alexei occasionally makes jokes about it and teases him. Incidentally, the previous Prime Minister had a beautiful and shining head and had the second name as The Prime Minister Light Demon Stone.

In the empire, there are several veins of light magic stones, a stone that shines by pouring magic power into it, and there is a history of conflicts with neighboring countries over it, but that’s all behind us now.

“Then I shall invite you to a ball in two months, to which you shall be honored with a host of suitable daughters. What kind of woman would you like to see, Your Majesty?”

“I don’t care whoever it is as long as they would do their best for this empire.”

“You’ll be able to pick and choose as many as you like, but I’ll be able to provide you with as many potential partners as you want.”

“No, any woman would do”

“Can’t you dream a little bit more of marriage? You see, like big tits or a big ass”

“Sergei, that would be your preference.”

Dumbfounded Alexei, put his hand to his chin and thought for a moment.

“If I could, I’d want a woman with skin as green as a frog and as stubby as a slime. Yes, I want a gentlewoman with skin-covered eyes, a droopy nose, and cheeks, a muddy voice, and be also an animal lover.”

Alexei’s specific and very unusual preference for women is so shocking that Sergei chokes on his words.

“I’m …… joking. Apologies for the nonsense. Anyway, I don’t care what they would look like or how old they can get. No. Age is as far as a child can go, please.”

And so began Alexei III’s choice of a bride.

The night curtain fell and the light of the light demon stone illuminated the office. Alexei was taking a snack with one hand and looking over the papers that Sergei had given him.

“What’s wrong, Sergei?”

Sergei responds to Alexei’s question in a reserved manner.

“Your Majesty, the ideal female figure you mentioned earlier, could it be the one who rescued His Majesty as a child?”

Alexei put the papers on the desk and wrinkled his brow.

“If so, what?”

Sergei looked at Alexei, who looked like he’d just swallowed up a worm, and he knew that he still hadn’t healed his broken heart.

Alexei was abused and killed when he was six years old by the then empress.

Alexei’s birth mother, a maiden princess from a neighboring country, died after giving birth to him, and soon afterward, a new empress was welcomed by the anti-imperialist nobility. It was the empress who took care of Alexei, who stood in the way of making her own son, her flesh and blood, the emperor.

Alexei was supposedly killed in a landslide on his way to his own palace in the countryside to escape the summer heat when he was actually strangled and killed in his carriage.

And then, they stripped him of his clothes and dumped his body in the forest where it was the nest of most monsters.

It was an easy reason as to why things went so smoothly according to the empress’ plan was that because, at that time, the anti-imperialists had an overwhelming amount of power. Alexei’s body, abandoned in the Forest of Evil, has been revived by the blessing which Miko’s mother given to him at the time of his death. But when he came back to life, he found himself in a forest full of magical beasts.

Given life again, the naked Alexei was soon attacked by a demonic beast.

Crying and screaming won’t get through to the demonic beasts, and no one could help him. The three-eyed red bear, three times as tall as an adult, turned on the young Alexei, devouring his belly, still alive, devouring his soft lips and cheeks.

But even if he was eaten by a demonic beast and died, Alexei would revive at dawn and in the morning sun. And the next day, he was eaten again by a demonic beast and would die again.
