The western "dragon" is actually a "general term" in the Chinese translation. The first translator doesn't know who it is, but he is obviously lazy and translates all six different species as "dragon". In Western folklore, they are actually different species. The only thing in common is that they all represent evil in magic literature.
Among them, Dragon is the most widely known. Dragon is huge, with four dragon claws, a pair of dragon wings, and a long neck. It can breathe dragon's breath.
The second type is Wyvern, which is smaller than Dragon. It has only two legs and a much shorter neck. It looks like the wind tooth dragon in the monster hunter game.
The third type is Drake, which looks like a Dragon without dragon wings, and corresponds to the look of a unicorn in the East.
The fourth to sixth species actually have a shape similar to the eastern dragon (here refers to the Yinglong, or the look of the dragon in the Dragon Ball).
The fourth type is Wyrm, which looks like a basilisk, but with fine barbs on the back and a standard dragon head with double horns and nostrils. This is different from the basilisk.
The fifth type is Amphiptery, which is Wyrm with a pair of bird wings.
The sixth species is Lindworm, which is Wyrm with 2-4 dragon claws, which corresponds to the appearance of the Eastern Flood Dragon.
In this book, the author’s translation is:

Wyvern bipedal pterodactyl
Drake Kirin Dragon
Wyrm snake king dragon
