Chapter 24 - His 'Holiday'

Adrian and Lucifer were hanging out together in disguise, It was one of the few days when they can walk freely outside without worrying about their enemies.

They decided to shop for Adrian's mother's birthday gift, they were looking for a gift when Adrian spotted Zhang Lili.

Lucifer stopped in his tracks when he saw Adrian looking at someone. He turned his gaze to see Zhang Lili and Liu Li, an irritated expression on his face.

"This witch!", he cursed inwardly and dragged Adrian.

"You know she doesn't care about you right? Why bother someone like her!", Lucifer said indifferently making Adrian lower his head feeling embarrassed.

Lucifer and Adrian completed their shopping and went to a nearby cafe.

While walking in Lucifer's eyes went to a beautiful deep maroon colored ball gown with a rich design He was momentarily stunned and his thoughts went back to the girl he saw on the auction day.

Smiling Lucifer shook his head and followed Adrian.

After their meal Adrian had something important to do so he left early, while Lucifer went on to enjoy his 'holiday'.

Lucifer saw a figure and his expression contorted, Liu Li that witch was here!

She'll probably cling to him, thinking about that he went to hide from her. Liu Li was one of the few people who knew Lucifer's underworld connection.

Liu Li's father Liu Chenmin was himself part of the organization and hence she knew all about it. She was like a pest, very annoying.

To avoid bumping into her Lucifer opened the closest door to him and dashed in.

Just as he stepped in the door closed, before he could react something soft fell in his arms.

Lucifer was initially very shocked but after looking carefully he was stunned.

From the faint light coming through Lucifer was able to recognize the person in his arms. He looked closely to confirm his suspicions. After being sure of his discovery he breathed a relief, he didn't realize had held his breath from a long time.

Looking at the pale looking frail girl in his arms Lucifer was stunned, he checked to see if she's okay.

Lucifer was anxious when he found her breathing in disarray, he tried to check and found her losing herself. Her breathing was getting shallow by the second.

Lucifer was fighting his anxiety and tried to control his emotions, after calming himself he decided to perform CPR on her.

He pressed her chest and tried to revive her breathing into normal. He was not successful as her breathing was erratic but shallow. Then he reluctantly decided to perform mouth-to-mouth CPR.

Lucifer was feeling conflicted, he wanted to kiss her when he saw her that day but he never thought he would have to do it under such circumstances.

Laughing sarcastically at his own thoughts Lucifer shook his head and bent his head.

Looking at the small face in front of him he sighed, Lucifer took her soft lips in his mouth and breathed through his mouth. He tried once, twice, thrice, after the third attempt Sera sucked deep breath and started to get normal.

Lucifer thanked the gods silently in his head, and looked at the little creature struggling on the floor.

She opened her eyes to see that she was in a closed space and then her memory went back to how she was trapped here by someone.

Sera was abou to start banging on the door when she heard a deep voice.

"Are you okay now? How did you come in here? You were not feeling good? How did you faint?", Lucifer spoke in a calm deep voice, his soothing voice made Sera forget her panick.

Just as she was about to answer Lucifer asked another question and another question making Sera's head ache! "Why is this man not allowing me to speak!", Sera thought in her head.

When Sera and Lucifer were inside a security personnel who was nearby switched on the lights.

Just as the light hit him Lucifer hurriedly turned away and pulled his scarf up covering half his face.

Sera who was struggling to open her eyes and adjusting to the light saw Lucifer's hand, his wrist was covered with his jacket's sleeve but a small part of his tattoo was visible.

Sera hurriedly tried to get up when she tripped, Lucifer turned his head and saw Sera on the floor.
