Chapter 68 - Miss Me, Please

Adrian sat looking at Su Yin and didn't bother touching his food. Even after Su Yin left the restaurant he sat there in a daze when a waiter came up to him.

"Sir, did you not like the food? Is it not to your liking?",he asked politely looking at the untouched dishes.

Adrian snapped from his daze and looked at the waiter at loss, glancing at the table he saw the untouched food and frowned.

"It's okay, You can leave me alone", shaking his head he replied.

After the waiter walked away Adrian didn't have an appetite, he glanced at the table then looked ahead where Su Yin was sitting previously.

His somber mood uplifted, he picked his chopsticks and started eating. A wide grin was plastered on his face.

Su Yin came back to her hotel room and plopped on the couch, browsing on her phone.

After sometime she placed the phone back on the table when her eyes caught something.

Su Yin looked at the men's kerchief in her hand. It had a manly scent to it, Su Yin gazed at it lost in her thoughts.

"Adrian?...", she stuttered and dropped it on the floor aghast.

Lucifer was in a nasty mood after the business conference and had also skipped lunch. He slumped onto the comfortable couch and closed his eyes.

Sera's smiling countenance came into his mind, subconsciously making him curl his lips. Lucifer sat up straight and searched his phone, after finding it he hurriedly called Sera.

Sera was driving to Ethan's office when her phone buzzed, She glanced at the screen and saw PRIVATE NUMBER calling.

An excited Sera hurriedly parked her car at the underground carpark of Ethan's office and looked at her appearance in the mirror.

After checking herself out Sera smiled and answered the call, her heart was racing 100 miles per second. She could feel herself getting excited,

"Hello", Sera softly answered.

"Missed me?", Lucifer's low subwoofer voice was heard, making Sera's heart flutter.

With Sera's phone pressed to her ear, Lucifer's voice felt much closer than before. It was as if his lips were pressed onto her ear, his enticing voice and hot breath falling on her ears.

Even though he was clearly not in front of her, Sera still couldn't help but shiver a little,her ears blushing bright red.

"Um.. No", Sera stubbornly answered albeit her flushed face.

"Is that so? Then I must be the only one missing you!", Lucifer's low voice tingling Sera's ears.

"Who.. Who told you to miss me?", Sera's grin was getting wider by the second making her look like a child happy to see it's toy.

"My heart, It can't stop missing you. Next time you see me you should tell my heart to stop missing you, alright?", Lucifer chuckled then spoke shaking his head.

"Why should I? I'm not telling it", Sera shook her head. Lucifer laughed at her flustered self.

"Alright then, you shouldn't stop me from missing you and you should miss me as well. If not my heart will hurt", Lucifer blurted.

"Fine, whatever", Sera wouldn't dare admit how much she missed him, his smile, his laughter, his touch.

Sera was getting hot just thinking about Lucifer, her face flushed red looking like a tomato. Sera hurriedly fanned herself with the papers lying on the copilot seat.

Lucifer heard the rustling of paper and laughed softly making Sera feel embarrassed. She hurriedly kept away the papers and cleared her throat awkwardly.

"Alright, I'll not tease you! Did you eat?", Lucifer assured her and changed the subject smoothly.

"No, what about you?", Sera asked him.

"No, Don't worry about me. I'll see you soon. Take care of yourself", Lucifer chided her softly.

"Alright", Sera was a little sad but forced herself to smile and end the call on a happy note.

"Miss me, Please", Lucifer blurted feeling her uneasiness and smacked softly making Sera blush. Sera hurriedly disconnected and started fanning herself.

Lucifer laughed softly after seeing that Sera had abruptly disconnected the call and walked out of his room.

Sera went to look for Assistant Chen when Ethan came out of his cabin. He looked at her and smiled politely.

"Miss Lu, I didn't expect you to come today", Ethan said feeling amused.

"Uh! Mr Lee, I didn't want to delay the project, Hope I'm not disturbing you", Sera politely answered.

"No, no. Come on in", They both entered inside Ethan's office.
