Chapter 90 - Butterscotch..

Lillian came over with a tray full of desserts, all filled with delicious strawberries. There were macaroons filled with strawberry jam, a strawberry tart with blueberries and cream and a big glass of strawberry smoothie. It looked yummy but it was a lot for a frail looking Su Yin, it was too sweet as well.

Lillian saw her son looking at Su Yin and broke the silence,

"She came here today...", Adrian snapped his head when he heard his mother, confusion clearly etched in his icy blue eyes.

"After you left today morning she came here, to the cafe and ordered the special on the menu...", Adrian understood what Lillian was saying and looked back at Su Yin, his head was in disarray, Lillian continued ignoring Adrian's obvious shocked expression.

"She was here till noon, she also ate a strawberry strudel with strawberry milkshake, She sure does love strawberries...", Lillian was gauging her son's expressions, the yearning in his eyes was something she was aware of. The soft and gentle look on his face made her eyes sting, she held his hand.

Adrian looked at Lillian and the hand holding his, impatience mixed with agony in his blue eyes. Lillian didn't give him a chance to react and spoke,

"Strawberry girl, It sure suits her...", Adrian didn't speak a word until now, after listening to his mother's words Adrian smiled faintly and hummed, looking intently at Su Yin's little figure snapping pictures.

"I can see now why you named this cafe 'LOVE', a strawberry themed cafe with such a cheesy name is unlike you..", smiling Lillian left the stunned Adrian and went to Su Yin's table with the tray.

Lucifer stopped the car and looked at Sera who was looking at him with a perplexed look,

"Icecream?", Lucifer wanted to spend more time with Sera, he couldn't bring himself to tell her to stay.

"Hmm, okay. But you have to eat with me", Lucifer smiled faintly at Sera.

"Flavor?", there was a glint in his gray eyes and Sera was lost in them.

"Butter.. butterscotch", Sera stammered softly almost a whisper, Lucifer chuckled before stepping out of the car.

Sera sat in a daze, looking at Lucifer's who was standing near the icecream truck looking oh-so-irresistible as always, Sera was drooling gawking at Lucifer. Shortly after he came back holding a cup of butterscotch icecream with two spoons.

Lucifer handed Sera the cup of icecream, he tucked in his spoon and ate a big scoop. Sera was gaping at Lucifer, he looked so noble even while eating something off the streets.

"So good, I never thought butterscotch could taste this good..", Sera mumbled under her breath. She gulped heavily looking at Lucifer's lips stained with icecream.

Lucifer who was oblivious of her burning gaze nudged Sera to eat. Sera was at loss, she was shocked by her own behavior.

"It's all because of this perv! I shouldn't lose myself into temptation..", Sera cursed Lucifer in her head.

Lucifer who didn't know what was going on in Sera's head fed her with his spoon. The pair ate while conversing on trivial topics, laughing and bantering.

Su Yin was skipping happily after feasting on her favorite strawberry desserts, just as Su Yin was about to walk inside the mansion gates she saw a black Bentley approaching and stopped in her tracks.

Inside the car Lucifer held Sera's hand tenderly and squeezed softly, Sera looked into his eyes. She was captivated by his eyes, Lucifer's gray irises were casting a spell on Sera making her muddled.

Lucifer slowly inched towards Sera blocking her, Sera could feel her erratic heartbeat, she placed her palm on Lucifer's chest and was shocked to feel his heart beating like crazy. She felt happy seeing the effect she had on him and smiled subconsciously, her smile stumped Lucifer and he lost it.

Lucifer lunged forward and grabbed Sera's waist, his lips swiftly landing on her soft petal. Sera instinctively grabbed his shirt, clenching tightly and responded to his kisses with equal vigor. Lucifer could feel himself losing control, he moved from Sera's lips to her rosy cheeks and further up to her forehead, pecking softly.

Lucifer composed himself panting and catching his breathe, holding Sera close to his body, their foreheads and noses touching. They stared intensely into each other's eyes before Lucifer broke the silence and averted his eyes to her swollen lips.

"Okay, Go on now..", Lucifer pecked on her swollen lips one last time before opening the door for her. Sera held his hand and pressed a lingering kiss before scurrying away, leaving a stunned Lucifer.

Su Yin stood rooted to the ground, she was shocked and rubbed her eyes to confirm the truth of the turn of events before her eyes. After a brief moment of silence Su Yin followed Sera inside the mansion.
