Chapter 118 - It Is... Very Beautiful!

Lucifer was parking his car when Adrian called him to inform about the mishap he had encountered, Sera was standing out gazing far away at the fields.

Lucifer had brought Sera to the Chung estate not the Chang's, it was his father's property solely built by him alone, which now belongs to him.

It was a very vast piece of land and was personally built catering to Mr Chung's and his wife, Li Jing's interests.

It was a vast green patch of land consisting of a stable with horses, a farm with domesticated animals, a nursery with different types of plant's and flowers besides a playing arcade for archery, shooting and other sports.

The kids, Ethan, Lucifer and Mia used to spend their holidays here with Chung's rather than their school dormitories.

"Is it beautiful?", Lucifer came to Sera's side, a hand leisurely resting on her shoulder while other in his pocket.

Sera was looking at the sky above the golden fields, It was already dusk and the setting red sun had enveloped everything in sight with a golden red hue.

"It is.. very beautiful", Sera's words were directed at the man as she turned around to look at his charming face, a hint of red coloring her smooth cheeks.

A golden layer of light seemed to cover the man's gorgeous features, and it made Lucifer look more beautiful than anything, thus Sera couldn't help but praise his appealing charm that never fails to take her breath away.

A peal of laughter erupted as Lucifer stroked Sera's cheeks, her hand resting on his chest could feel the rumbling tremors as he laughed in amusement.

Affection brimming in Lucifer's eyes as he caught sight of her abashed expression, his lips moved on their own accord as he planted a lingering kiss on her small forehead.

"Let's get inside..", he led Sera inside through the wooden fence gate molded with iron and metal. It was very unique with a roaring lion symbol on the vast gate.

Sera looked with admiration in her eyes as they passed through the gate. The place was exceptionally fascinating, her eyes glittering as she looked around in awe.

"How enthralling..", she muttered under her breath as she was feeling her soul getting captivated.

It was pleasing to the eyes, the trees, the flowers, the distant fields, the noises of horses and other animals in the distance as well as the splendid atmosphere.

Sera couldn't help but feel lost in it's beauty as she left Lucifer's arms and went to explore the world before her eyes.

Lucifer looked down at his empty hands, feeling a little rueful for bringing her to this great heaven in his heart.

Ethan reached his house by 7:40 as he drove at high speed, in his eagerness.

As he reached the gates he was reminded of the time spent with Sera the other day, her bashful expression and hesitant eyes always worked like magic on him, she'd done something that even his Mia couldn't do to him.

"Ethan darling, you're early today..", Sophia was elated to her grandson.

"Grandmother, I finished early today. By the way mom and dad are supposed to arrive tomorrow morning", he sat on the couch removing his dark gray suit jacket.

"Hmm, I'm happy that they're coming back. The house is too empty for an old woman like me..", Sophia lamented, she really missed her son and daughter-in-law.

"Grandmother, don't say like that. If Lucifer hears anything of that sort he'll nag till you take back your words!", Ethan laughed thinking about Lucifer.

"Yes! Where's that rascal.. It's been too long since I last saw him..", her eyes dimmed at Lucifer's mention.

"He's.. he's busy grandmother. You know..", Ethan didn't continue.

"I know everything that's why I can't bear to leave him alone, I'd promised Lu Jing to take care of Mia and Lucifer but fate..", the old lady felt rueful as her eyes blurred with tears.

"Grandmother..", Ethan held her hand trying to comfort Sophia Lee, the old lady was a very down-to-earth and emotional person.

"I'm fine.. I'm fine, go wash up and come down for dinner", Ethan nodded and went away, the old lady looked at the large door and sighed deeply as if waiting for someone.

Adrian was constantly badgering Su Yin, the man was so shameless and annoying that Su Yin couldn't believe that he was Adrian.

The Adrian who only knew how to kill people had such a habit of spouting nonsense. Su Yin was close to pulling her own hair along with the man's tongue.

"Yinyin, I'm sorry.. don't ignore me!", Adrian made a cute puppy face as he blocked her, his blue eyes glinting.

"Move!", Su pushed the man who was hard like a rock.

"I'm sorry, I was just kidding! I know you'd never ever think of devouring me, even if you're a demoness!", Su Yin's face turned ugly at his words, she couldn't care less and slapped his mouth shut.

The loud sound stopped the people around them, everyone looking at the duo with strange expressions.

Su Yin was feeling regretful at her actions, she looked down at her sneakers, embarrassed. Adrian gazed at the sorrowful expression on her face and bent his body.

"Come on! Let me piggyback you..", Su Yin considered the tempting offer as her eyes glittered.

"No! I'm fat..", the last word was almost inaudible, Adrian flicked her forehead and looked into her eyes.

"Fine, let's just eat dinner at your place, okay?", Adrian could only think of food as his stomach grumbled, he was hungry after fighting with the men and hadn't eaten a morsel.

"Okay..", Su Yin hopped on his back as he took her to the Porsche parked at the carpark.

"I'm sorry..", Su Yin whispered against his neck, warm breath tickling him, Adrian almost lost his balance.

"It's okay, I was a jerk after all..", Adrian laughed it off but his eyes were neither laughing nor smiling.

Su Yin sat obediently in the copilot seat looking at his side profile as Adrian maneuvered the steering wheel easily, within minutes they reached the apartment and Su Yin hurriedly went inside.

Adrian looked at her running figure, touching the corner of his lips where his mouth was still stinging from the slap earlier.
