Chapter 123 - Sunrise Of Our Life..

A gentle tickling sensation made Sera squirm in her sleep, she scrunched her nose in annoyance as her beauty sleep was getting perturbed.

Soon the sensation filled Sera's whole face, her eyelashes fluttered and groggily opened her eyes to see the most beautiful sight, a smile crept up her lips.

"Milady, good morning!", Lucifer showered her face with kisses just like a moment ago, a radiant smile resting on his face.

"Good morning..", Sera mumbled, she tried to stretch out her hands but couldn't.

Panick stricken she looked around, they weren't inside the tent anymore and Lucifer was wearing a new set of clothes, surprisingly white colored unlike his usual all black style.

Sera was tightly bundled up in the fluffy white comforter, restricting her hand movements as Lucifer firmly held her tiny self in his laps.

They were both sitting on the couch at the rooftop that Lucifer had mentioned last night, it was not yet day break and the skies were still dark and gloomy.

Lucifer had carried Sera out of the tent after ensuring that she is securely wrapped up to avoid catching cold.

"It's so peaceful..", Sera pressed her lips onto Lucifer's cheeks followed by a wide grin.

Sera drifted slightly to release her hands, she then rested against Lucifer's broad shoulder, as the man held her protectively.

"You look good in white!", Sera was blown by his handsomeness, she couldn't help gawking at his perfect features unable to believe he is within her reach.

"Did you sleep well?", Lucifer spoke tucking the loose hair strands behind her ears, Sera was lovingly stroking his chin as they lost count of time staring into each other's eyes.

"You look so beautiful..", Lucifer couldn't get enough of Sera, he bent forward to kiss her but she moved away and his lips landed on her ears.

"What's wrong?", Lucifer spoke, breathing hot air against her ears turning them pink by the second.

"I.. I haven't brushed my teeth!", Sera was feeling embarrassed as she spoke, Lucifer chuckled softly and kissed the sides of her face sensually arousing unknown sensations into her body.

"The.. the sun..", Sera's words were cut short by Lucifer's skilled lips that maneuvered their way into her sweet mouth, drawing her honey eagerly and hungrily devouring her.

True enough after the intense good morning kiss finally the sun rose filling the sky with boundless colors.

Pulling back the duo sat gazing intently as the skies painted a beautiful picture.

It filled the sky with mighty colours of red and splashed the clouds with endless rays of pink, shades of orange, peach and magenta, amber and rose, radiating hope and new beginnings.

It was bright and mesmerising as it invited the pair to stare, deep into the horizon basking in it's glory.

"The sunrise of new beginnings!", Sera mumbled gazing at the plethora of colors mesmerizing her eyes.

"The sunrise of our life..", Lucifer dipped his neck forward to delve into Sera's little mouth, with a mighty witness, the sunrise they sealed their destiny with a passionate kiss.

Elsewhere, Ethan dressed in a prim and proper suit arrived at the port.

Ethan was holding a big bouquet of sunflowers, he was dressed to the nines at 4:45 in the morning. That was not weird at all!

"Dad!", Ethan spotted Nathan walking with Francis while the ladies walked together after collecting their bags.

"Uncle Lu!", Ethan didn't forget to greet the man standing beside his father, a curt nod from him and Ethan felt relaxed.

"Son! You're on time..", Nathan eyed the bouquet in Ethan's hand with a cynical smile.

"Uh-huh..", he looked awkwardly trying to hide the bouquet of flowers as it would attract unnecessary attention.

"It's okay, don't sweat..", Nathan took the bouquet in his hands and smiled at Francis Lu who had a puzzled look on his face.

"He's just like that..", Nathan shrugged at his questioning gaze, Ethan felt stupid for getting over excited.

"Ethan..", Qin Ying missed her son and looked at him with teary eyes, ruffling his perfectly gelled hair.

"Mom.. it's embarrassing!", Ethan spoke hurriedly.

Just as everyone were talking and greeting each other Lu Jinan came to fetch his parents, he was shocked to see Ethan there.

"Grandmother, Mom, Dad, Uncle Lee, Aunt Lee, Mr Lee..", Jinan politely greeted everyone before walking towards his parents.

"Now, let's get home. I'm too tired..", Anna Lu had initially felt a little seasick on board the cruise ship and now she was homesick!

"Sure grandmother, grab my hand..", Jinan pulled the old lady gently, guiding her to the car.

"We'll see you guys soon..", the couples bid farewell to each other with a promise to meet again.

"Tch! Who comes dressed like this, is it your wedding?", Nathan criticized his son for making a fool out of himself.

"Lu Jinan had worn casual outfit to come fetch his parents who were holidaying at a cruise, while our soon was all decked up like it was a business meeting..", Nathan nagged continuously, it was his way of punishing Ethan for his stubbornness.

"Enough! Don't make it hard for my son..", Qin Ying looked at Ethan's aggrieved expression and gave a side-eyed glance to her husband.

"Hmmph!", Nathan turned away not bothering the mother-son pair.

"Why didn't we go sleep inside yesterday?"

Sera asked incredulously as she sat at the modular kitchen's countertop dangling her legs as Lucifer cooked up a storm.

It was a feeling that cannot be described in words, eating together, sleeping next to each other, waking up next to each other, cooking breakfast together.. It was a perfect start to their day, their new beginnings!

"Because I wanted you to sleep next to me!", Lucifer said as he broke two eggs easily with one hand and poured hot milk in a cup with the other for Sera.

Sera looked at awe, his multitasking abilities left a lasting impression on her little brain!

"Huh! I don't understand..", Sera sipped the warm milk as she pondered over his words.

"It was not convenient to jump in the bed inside your bedroom from my bedroom..", he whisked the fluffy pancake batter as he laughed at her muddle headedness.

"Whatever! This house is so beautiful.. It's your parents, right?", Sera looked around with glittery eyes.

"Yes, if you want you can look around!", gradually the light dimmed in his gray irises as he was reminded of the past events.

"Okay!", Sera happily clapped her hands, a broad smile etched on her lips.
