Chapter 259 - Hand Fetish

In the middle of the night Sera felt something crawl on her face. Lifting her hand weakly she scratched her cheeks in her sleep.

However she felt there was something firm and heavy on her cheek. She tried to wipe it off her but it just wouldn't go away.

Feeling uncomfortable Sera stirred, she fluttered her heavy eyelids to open her eyes. She scrunched her face the moment her eyes opened.

With her disoriented gaze Sera was trying to distinguish the hazy face in front of her. It was unclear. She rubbed her eyes sleepily with her small fists when her hand was caught.

She was forced to stare at the silhouette, her eyesight slightly clearer than before.

"Uh? Lucifer.."

She mumbled groggily, her brain was muddled and she was in no state to differentiate reality from dream.

Yanking her hand out of his grip Sera closed her eyes again, sleeping like a baby with no worries of the world.

"My love.. I'm here to see you and you're sleeping soundly, ignoring me"

Stroking her cheeks Lucifer sighed, his face had a fond smile as he gazed at her peacefully sleeping self.

Lucifer leaned closer to press a kiss on her forehead before going back, he wouldn't want to disturb her sleep for his selfishness.

Just when his lips were going to brush against her skin, Sera moved. She turned her head slightly.

Lucifer's face turned stiff while his body turned into an unmovable mountain. Sleepily stretching her hand Sera hit his shoulder.

"Ah! Hmm.."

Wincing softly Sera opened her eyes. Her fuzzy gaze went wide with realization after seeing Lucifer's shocked front up close.

"Lucifer!!"

Shrieking loudly Sera sat up, her shoulders were grabbed by his large hands and she was pressed back onto the bed.

He sat across her. Raising his hand to tuck away the stray hairs from her face. Lucifer pressed her small face on his chest, his slender fingers caressing her back in a soothing embrace.

"Sshh! Why are you so shocked, it's just me.."

His gentle, subwoofer like voice was heard in a whisper. His warm breath falling on her ears.

Unable to percieve the reason behind her over the top reaction Lucifer tried to alleviate her anxiety. He was rather baffled but didn't show it on his face.

Sera clutched his sky blue v neck tshirt, her fingers tightened around his waist. She felt her pounding heart slowly come back to a normal pace.

Gathering her courage she parted her lips, from the corner of her eyes she could see Su Yin covered in a comforter. From head to toe. Not even a single strand of her hair was visible.

She opened her mouth to explain in a shaky voice, she raised her gaze to meet his sparkly gray eyes, mesmerizing.

"Because.."

Lucifer was patiently waiting for her to answer when a loud snoring sound was heard, both of them snapped their heads and were shocked.

Su Yin's whole face was covered in a white comforter, her hands were now stretched out while her legs were covered as well.

With only her fair hands peeking out Su Yin could surely spook the hell out of any sane man.

"Who.. Who?"

Stuttering like a broken record Lucifer whispered, his hands tightly holding Sera's tiny waist as he gulped.

"Su Yin, that's why I was.."

She turned to look at the man, her voice meek with no smile. She nudged him when he didn't respond.

Lucifer was staring at the oddly peeking hands longer than necessary. His usually cold gaze now had a faint flash of light.

Weird enough Lucifer didn't look away after his eyes landed on them. Even after Sera nudged him his eyes were locked on those hands.

Nobody could tell what was going on in his head.

Sera felt slightly uneasy, jealousy could be the right word but still she wasn't supposed to react like that. Right?

It's no big deal. He's just ogling at a pair of hands hanging on either side that belonged to her bestfriend.

So, taking a deep breath she pinched his waist. Still no response.

Does this man have any strange hand fetish or something? Sera gulped thinking inwardly. She could feel her heart tremble.

Incensed by his lack of attention, Sera was about to kick his shin when he jerked back to reality. And the reason was none other than Su Yin's hands.

All of a sudden the sleeping Su Yin had raised her fist and heavily pounded on the bed. She was fighting someone in her dream.

"Is your friend always like this?"

Lucifer had an awkward expression on his gorgeous face before breaking into a radiant smile. He asked her with a lazily quirked up brow and slightly raising the side of his lips. It was sexy.

"Are you here to see me or question me about her?"

Mildly offended Sera had her inquisitive gaze fixed on his smiling face, she was charmed by him and that irked her greatly. He was clearly seducing her or so she thought.

"Ah! That, I'm sorry.. I seemed to have seen her somewhere"

Focusing his attention back on Sera, his sole reason for the past midnight trip to Lu mansion. Lucifer explained his reasons which further displeased her.

"You didn't even see her face!"

Sera couldn't stop herself from back answering. Lucifer chuckled before pressing her back in the comfort of his embrace.

"I'm here only for you.. I missed you so much and here, you're not looking pleased at all.."

Planting a kiss on her hair, Lucifer lamented. His heart beating in a steady manner, each beat seemed to relax her and ease all her tense thoughts. Clearing her mind.

"Of course I'm elated to see you, it's just that.. With Su Yin here, it's likely to be exposed"

Sera raised her head to kiss his chin, he smiled at her attempts to appease him. She continued with a hint of fear. It pained him.

"It's my fault.. It's because of me that you have to be so careful and keep holding yourself back. I'm a bad boyfriend.."

Sliding his fingers from her temple down to her chin, he sighed. His expression was low, all his high-spirits were dampened.

"No.. Lucifer"

Not wanting him to feel bad, she interrupted him. She held his face with one hand and squeezed it gently. Trying to pull out a smile on his face.

"Sshh.. We don't go on dates frequently, I don't take you out for lunch or dinners, I don't bring you out for carnivals, amusement parks or movies.."

Covering her hand with his large palm, he shushed her and shook his head. His profound gaze keenly noting each and every change in her expression. He was seriously disappointed.

"I'm not an ideal boyfriend Sera.. I'm a bad, very bad boyfriend. But I love you, I truly do"

Gazing deeply into her eyes that were nervously looking back into his, Lucifer continued. His sincerity when he'd say 'I love you' would often drive Sera crazy, her heart race like anything.

"I love you more than any ideal boyfriend in this world ever could.."

He continued proudly, a smugness in his tone that was attractive compelling Sera to jump on him. She's deeply in love with this man and it's fatal.

"Dummy! I don't doubt that, I know that you love me.."

Slapping his chest she snuggled closer, shutting her eyes tightly she was taking in his masculine scent that was somewhat arousing.

"My boyfriend is the bestest.. In the entire universe!"

Laughing gleefully, she ran her fingers on his arms. They appeared slim but were actually very bulky. It secretly amazed her.

"I have a boyfriend.. And he's hot!"

Just when Lucifer was feeling good about himself, immersed in his happiness Su Yin's firm voice resounded. She was sleep talking.

They looked at her, then at each other before breaking into big smiles. Standing up, they strolled towards the open balcony holding hands.

Pecking on her lips Lucifer was ready to jump out of the balcony when Sera pulled him back.

"Sera.."

He was caught off guard by her display of strength, she didn't let him speak and crashed her mouth on his lips. He was beyond ready to oblige.

Pinning her to the glass door he ravaged her mouth, he was afraid of losing control. Even Su Yin's presence was daunting him at the back of his mind.

Delving deeper, he was determined to leave her breathless.

Pulling back he left her panting, wiping her tears and pulling her nearer he sighed deeply.

"I love you.."

Saying that he jumped out of the balcony. She had her bright eyes fixed on his dark silhouette in the night with a smile wider than her whole face.

"I love you too.."
