Schulva could not leave the tightly closed entrance of the meeting room.

To him, the inside of the luxurious meeting room was like a hellfire that swallowed Rosie.

The children of Count Noart were greedy and cruel. Already, they would be delighted at the thought of sharing Rosie’s 137 billion gold.

But when they learned that Rosie invested that money in magic stones, pretty much turning it into a piece of toilet paper…

‘They will be angry and will not leave Rosie alone. Moreover, she doesn’t have any support right now.’

It was clear what kind of humiliation the little child would go through.

‘Murloc Noart is a hot-tempered person who beats even his subordinates when angry… I’m sure he’ll beat the cute little Rosie mercilessly, but there’s no one there who will stop him.’

One of the knights guarding the entrance to the meeting room spoke sullenly.

“Please stop now.”

“What?”

“It’s a place where only people with the surname of Noart can enter anyway. It means nothing will change even if you hang around here.”

There was nothing wrong with the knight’s words.

However, it has been a while since the meeting started. Probably, soon…

“What?!”

Schulva heard the voice of an angry Murloc and ‘thumps’ and ‘thuds’ in the meeting room.

“That money? What? To the magic stones?”

“All? Are you saying you invested all that money in magic stones? Huh?”

“Are you crazy? You!!!!!!”

The door to the conference room was closed. However, it was obvious how much of a mess the inside was.

Schulva politely asked the knight guarding the door with an anxious face.

“I’m sorry, but the situation sounds dire… As a guardian, I…”

“Uh-uh, because principles are principles. Are you a Noart?”

In the meantime, all kinds of commotion was going on inside the meeting room.

It was when Schulva was about to kneel down and plead with the knight.

Tak, tak, tak.

The sound of crutches was heard at the end of the hallway.

“Hey.”

Julian was walking with his crutches.

Glaring at the knight with glowing green eyes, he spat out.

“Open the door.”

Both Schulva and the knight hardened.

No one expected that Julian would show up at the meeting.

He had been bedridden until recently, and knew nothing about it.

He wouldn’t even be aware that he was a Noart.

“What, why?”

Julian snapped.

“I’m also a Noart. Can’t I go in?”

A sloppy nightgown, untrimmed hair, and a disgruntled expression of an idiot.

The eyes of the knight who remembered the old Julian shook.

Julian, whenever he attended a meeting, was always dressed in a uniform that fit perfectly.

His hair would be styled, and he would have such an indifferent expression that one wouldn’t even have an inkling of what he was thinking.

But the current Julian… Hmm… The atmosphere was very different.

And those eyes were like that of an adolescent who seemed very dissatisfied with the world…

This was just as Schulva knew, the rawness of his delinquent childhood friend…

“What are you looking at? Are you seeing a Noart for the first time?”

Julian stood in front of the door and asked. He was like an alley thug.

“Open the door while I’m speaking nicely.”

Surprisingly, there were no logical errors.

The knight reluctantly opened the door.

And inside… It was a mess.

“You really…! Really!!!!!”

“I know what will happen when Julian comes to his senses!”

“You blew that money away like that? Are you crazy!?”

“Didn’t you know the temple just found a huge romstone mine? It’s said the reserves are huge, so the price of magic stones is plummeting! Romstones are much cheaper and more effective than magic stones! Don’t you know that too? Are you that ignorant? Huh!?”

Middle-aged people he had never seen before were shouting at Rosie.

What a mess it was. To the point nobody noticed the door opened and Julian entered.

“Why?”

Amazingly, Rosie was sitting still, without losing her composure.

“I didn’t do anything wrong. My brother definitely told me that he wanted to invest somewhere. He said he would put all his wealth there.”

Rosie looked a little sullen, but she said everything she had to say.

“I just remembered it a while ago. It seemed to be magic stones.”

Then she shrugged.

“And why are you all mad? It isn’t even your money in the first place.”

“This humble apprentice is really…!”

Unable to contain his anger, Murloc shoved Rosie and raised his hand.

It was then.

Daaak!

“Ah!”

Murloc, who was about to slap Rosie on the cheek, grabbed his forehead and fell down.

Right when everyone was shocked and panicked.

Daaak!

Once again, a small piece of wood hit Murloc in the forehead.

Soon after, a disgruntled, rogue voice was heard.

“Ah, the mister… with a real nasty personality…”

Everyone, including Rosie, looked at the entrance with stunned faces.

“What are you raising your hand for? To beat the little one? Aren’t you a real bully?”

Julian stood on his crutches with a more bully-like expression than anyone else.

His slippers were dragging, and he looked a bit tired from struggling on crutches.

And in his hand…

“Why, do you want to get another hit?”

Schulva covered his eyes, feeling a sense of shame while feeling happy inside.

The strongest swordsman of yesteryear, Julian, was now holding a slingshot.

He smugly said.

“I can use a slingshot very well. I’m famous in my village.”

Of course, since childhood, Julian handled the slingshot very well, but…

It was certainly not a prop suitable for a meeting room of nobles.

Julian grinned at Murloc.

“Especially when I aimed for the bird’s head. I was always on target.”

Using informal speech like a rebel of darkness, Julian raised Rosie with his crutches. And he slumped down in the seat next to her.

“There’s nothing wrong with what the kid said, so why is everyone in a frenzy?”

Julian smirked while spinning the slingshot menacingly.

“Isn’t it my money in the first place? It’s not your money?”

The jaws of the meeting attendants who remembered the past Julian dropped open.

The Julian Noart they knew was a person who was absolutely mindful of formality and etiquette. It was to avoid being caught by the weakness of living as a commoner for 19 years.

Thus, every time they saw him, he was a nephew who was dignified and elegant…

“It’s a real mess, trying to steal my money right under my nose, crazy.”

After jutting his chin in a bad way, Julian sharply scanned his dumbfounded relatives.

“No wonder Schulva is worried and hangs around like a dog. How can a kid get through this hideous place alone?”

“Julian, you now…”

When Murloc barely opened his mouth, Julian raised his eyebrows and spoke in a menacing tone.

“Oh, shut up and don’t touch this kid anymore. If you want to f*ck someone, f*ck me, since I’m the one who gave her money.”

And he growled and warned.

“If you touch my sister, I won’t let you go.”

A moment of silence passed.

Despite the messy outfit, the momentary sense of intimidation was great.

Julian’s raised eyebrows were more ferocious than ever.

It was then.

“I will add one more agenda!”

Monica, who had a distraught expression, raised her hand.

All eyes were on Monica.

Julian whispered to Rosie in a way that everyone could hear it.

“Little one, who is that ferocious-looking woman?”

“Our aunt…”

“Huh. Her eyes are full of poison, full.”

“But that’s how to survive here.”

Ignoring the whispers of the siblings, Monica spoke plainly.

“It’s a disciplinary case for Julian Noart.”

She fiercely pointed at the slingshot.

“Bringing weapons to the meeting room? It goes against the principles.”

“Ah…”

The look in Murloc’s eyes, which had fallen to Rosie’s feet, changed in an instant.

“Yes. You are not allowed to bring weapons into the meeting room.”

Murloc, who came to his senses, slowly stood up and glared at Julian and Rosie.

“Julian, it looks like you made a mistake because you don’t have your memory… Still, principles are principles.”

Touching his bruised forehead, Murloc lifted his chin.

“How about resting in a villa in the south for about a month, Julian. It will be good for your body to recover more.”

It meant to leave the county, using probation and recuperation as an excuse.

At those words, Rosie’s complexion turned white.

Ame: if Julian is going to get a probation, he should’ve shot more stones.

Tassie: I agree with Ame, if he’s going to get punished anyways, he should beat them allllll up first!
