Chapter 58: Breakthrough Mania Part 4

Chapter 58: Breakthrough Mania Part 4

......

Most cultivators weren't able to increase the size of their Qi cyclones unless they were extremely talented or used some sort of auxiliary herb to supplement their lack of talent.

Azmond was part of this talented section of people and didn't need to rely on any sort of magical herb to increase the size of his Qi cyclones.

...

"I have the unique skill books and techniques in this world to look forward to acquiring as well."

Expectation for his future power filled Azmond's heart as he finished levitating out of the pit he found himself in and landed on the hard ground with a loud thud.

*Thud!*

"It looks like that breakthrough took a little more out of me than I expected."

His face quickly displayed exhaustion as he examined his body for injuries, discovering that every single part of his body was injured one way or another...

Almost all of Azmond's bones were completely shattered, and his muscles were on the verge of collapse as they were barely holding themselves together inside of him.

"I knew that my breakthrough into the 14th Stage of Quantum Qi Condensation would be far worse than all my previous breakthroughs, but..." A pained look almost appeared on Azmond's face before it quickly returned to one of indifference. "I didn't expect it would be this bad... All of my internal organs are damaged one way or another, and my body is well."

"I could play one of the walking dead in a zombie show if I were to audition right here and now," he mused to himself with a small, wry smile.

...

'Oh well... I just need to shrug it off and resume my cultivation session. After all, I still have the 15th Stage of Quantum Qi Condensation in front of me. And that's not to mention the Foundation Establishment Realm that comes right after it,' Azmond thought to himself with a determined expression as he got up off the ground and walked back toward the giant spiritual stone he had been cultivating at for the last few weeks.

It was honestly a complete mystery that he was even able to stay conscious right now, let alone stand up and walk around like everything was completely fine with him, considering that his body state would be the worst nightmare of any surgeon back on Earth...

But what would surprise those surgeons even more is the insane rate at which Azmond's body was healing itself.

'I wonder how long this one giant spiritual energy stone will last, though? I have been cultivating using this same stone for a while now, but it doesn't look like the energy stored within it has gone down at all.'

A contemplative look emerged on his face as he started to wonder about the mysteries surrounding these giant spiritual stones and the humongous tree that lays in the middle of them all.

A giant tree that Azmond still hasn't found the opportunity to go and check out.

...

'... I guess I will thoroughly explore this weird garden once I have reached the Foundation Establishment Realm. I am quite curious about what sort of phenomenon would need to occur for something as unusual as this place to form.'

Azmond's look of pondering disappeared after he thought that, as he swiftly refocused his attention on condensing his cultivation base.

Which was when his current cultivation progress was brought to mind,

'It took me 3 whole days just to reach the peak of the 14th Stage and condense my cultivation base down for the first time, as it looks like reaching 12 cultivation base condensations will take far longer to reach than it took for me to reach the peak of the 13th Stage of Quantum Qi Condensation.'

The inexpressiveness that came along with constantly cultivating once more filled Azmond's heart, as he didn't care about much while focused on gaining more power.

The only thing that could steer his attention away from cultivating was his Little Ice Flower, who was currently sleeping on a giant bed without a single care in the world.

Her two milky white bunnies were standing up proudly, as if there were no summits higher than them in this world.

Not even her loose, baggy robe could hide the voluptuousness of her milky white mountain peaks!

...

Crystalline's pretty little face seemed to be the only thing that could add some light to Azmond's dull world.

Of course, Azmond himself thought that cultivating had to be the most satisfying thing in existence.

...
