Chapter 75 Boundless Restoration Part 2

75 Boundless Restoration Part 2

"Yeah, yeah, whatever, Loki. Since you are so smart, what should we do about the 'feeble' mortal who has now entered the thatch hut??" Thor's condescending voice echoed out as he looked at an Azmond who had already firmly planted both of his feet inside the hut.

"W-What did you say?!?" Loki became flustered for the second time today before he too leaked his divine sense out and saw Azmond's tall figure gazing at the only thing within the thatch hut.

"H-How did he get past the door?!? If he got past the door, then that means he has already passed the first trial of the Boundless Restoration Scripture! How is that even remotely possible?!?" Loki's astonished voice came out in a speratic flurry as he couldn't believe what his divine sense was transmitting to him right now. Fôllôw new stories at novelhall.com

He began pacing in circles around Thor, as he seriously doubted the reality of the current situation.

"How could a lowly mortal, a being lower on the level of existence than even an immortal, be capable of passing the first trial to begin gaining the recognition of that stupid book?!?" Loki's panicky voice continued to sound out as he paced in circles at speeds that surpassed that of light.

A speed that was beginning to make Thor quite dizzy as he watched the frantic Loki dance around him.

In spite of his daze, it was still a sight that put a large, bright smile on Thor's rough features. He was enjoying the view of his 'smart ass' brother finally finding something he didn't understand.

"This shouldn't be happening right now, and yet it is, but why? Why would something that would require a top-tier immortal at the minimum to accomplish be achieved by a mere bottom-tier mortal?!? He doesn't even seem to be a particularly strong mortal... So Why?!?"

Loki was panicking until he finally thought of something that could alleviate his confusion. "Wait, maybe it was all just a fluke that he was able to go through that door! Yes, that must be it!" Loki's haughty expression once more appeared as he stopped pacing.

He instead materialized a chair out of thin air and sat down in an elegant fashion. A small, composed smile was the only emotion he was willing to exhibit.

He made it seem like his recently unruly show of bewilderment never happened...

A figure who was seated upon a translucent chair that appeared to be in a state of stasis as well.

"What is wrong with you, Loki?" Thor asked with a slightly puzzled expression as he got up off his seat and walked over to him.

He waved his large hands in front of Loki, yet he got no reaction out of him, only a dead stare. A look that would make one think that his mind was no longer with us...

"Are you playing one of your ridiculous games again, Loki??" Thor was becoming more and more irked by this oddity of Loki's.

He was going to punch some sense into him the old-fashioned way, but as soon as that thought surfaced inside his mind, he suddenly heard his brother speak.

"B-Book..." His voice came out in a barely audible tone.

Thor, who was about to give Loki the ol one two, was taken aback by his abrupt voice. "What about the book?" Thor clearly knew what Loki was referring to, but he didn't understand what that had to do with anything.

A bad feeling began to fester inside his heart as his thoughts began to swirl around Loki's words.

Thor may not be the brightest tool in the tool shed, but he wasn't stupid. "C-Could it be...?" His rich timbre voice came out on a slightly shaky note as he used his divine sense to confirm his theory.

He didn't even have the chance to confirm it himself before he got the answer from his brother.

"H-He opened the book..."
