Chapter 97: (REPEAT CHAPTER!! DON'T BUY!!!)

....

Azmond was pondering the mysteries of the book inside of his Dantian Space until he was suddenly taken out of his stupor by the voice of Loki.

"We protect the area that surrounds Boundless Restoration because that book is a very special piece for 'The Order Of The Eternal Flame'. That cursed technique was the main heirloom descended from the oldest Paragon Divine Phoenix" An ominous air suddenly flooded the atmosphere.

"That particular Divine Phoenix was the original Godsent Progenitor of the 'Order Of The Eternal Flame'! Just the mere mention of his name could cause entire layers of reality to fall apart.

Which is why I will not speak of it" A fear that was extremely uncommon for the sly god overtook his facial features.

"That Divine Phoenix, he was the very foundation of the 'Order of the Eternal Flame'! Just mentioning his name could tear apart reality itself. That's why I won't dare talk about it..."

Fear etched across the sly god's face, an uncommon sight indeed...

The fear he felt was unlike one that a mortal would feel when facing an insurmountable difference in strength No

It was a primal sort of fear. A fear that originated from a being that had witnessed something truly horrifying, firsthand

...

"I will not go in depth on the progenitor of the Divine Phoenix. That being is so far beyond your comprehension that you would undeniably come out of this conversation with a half-melted brain." A low, raspy snicker sounded out, followed by a cruel, wide grin emerging on Loki's face.

He was clearly teasing Azmond, but that didn't make what he was saying any less true. Azmond would most likely die if Loki disclosed the name of a being so high on the existence scale. He would have also died if Loki had openly discussed his name without the owner's permission as well.

Which was the case with him

"So what can you tell me, oh, all knowing Loki?" He asked with a slight tone of condescendence.

'Tsk, this human is always so infuriating. It's almost like he knows that neither I nor Thor can do anything against him. That is if we want to keep our lives intact.' Loki's displeasure was emanating from him.

Nevertheless, it didn't go past that, as he knew himself that taking any sort of action against the cocky mortal wouldn't be wise.

'... What is that feeling?' A puzzled expression emerged on Thor's face.

'Is someone talking about me behind my back?' Thor's menacing aura practically materialized as he scanned his surroundings. He was looking for the source of the animosity he was feeling.

Azmond's eyes immediately darted away as he refocused his attention back on the blonde pervert. The red pervert's short-tempered personality was a little too much for him, if he was being honest.

Thor went on to analyze the entirety of the dimension, only to end up empty-handed as he never found his hater.

"Humph!"

He snorted like an angry bull before turning his gaze back to the ongoing discussion.

....

"I was not referring to your special way of cultivating, human." Loki retorted with a slightly annoyed expression.

"Although I don't quite understand the intricacies behind the unique aura that leaks from your body, I know it's not easily discernible for higher existences than yourself."

"Most would just overlook it and continue about their business. To the vast majority of higher existences, your aura just looks like a slightly mutated one of the regular Qi cultivation path..."

"Whereas I can infer that it's far more special than something as simple as a 'Slightly mutated path', but even I don't know exactly what you have done for even the space atoms in the atmosphere to swarm toward you of their own violation."

Puzzlment filled the sly god's heart as he actively watched the space in the pocket dimension surround Azmond's body like mothes to a flame. It was an extremely surreal sight, to say the least.

"You are an extremely intriguing mortal, Azmond. But that is not what I am talking about when I say, 'Your aura could get you killed'. I am referring to the book that lies within your Dantian. A book that is still orbiting around your Dantian even at this very moment." His dry voice resounded out.

A look of bewilderment appeared on Azmond's face before he began brooding over Loki's words.

"Before you get lost in your entranced daze again, let me just tell you straight up what I'm talking about.' Loki said with a small, shit-eating grin. He enjoyed messing with Azmond's train of thought.

Azmond became a little peeved at Loki, but he figured this worked out well in his favor as well. So, he let it be.
