The three of them had already gotten into the proper defensive stances, as they were prepared for any sudden moves that could be made by the unknown intruders. Although they had not encountered such indiscreet intruders in their many years of service, this was no time to become complacent.
"Hmm?" Azmond noticed the aura leaking out before he released a smidgen of his own in return.
WAAA!
"?!?!?"
The domineering aura immediately dissipated as the three guards wore astonished expressions on their faces.
Their captain was an Early Nascent Soul Realm Cultivator, you know?!? He was not some common cabbage that just anybody could ignore his power as easily as that!
Nonetheless, they were only stunned for a second before pugnacious looks formed on them. They were ready to fight to the death if need be!
However, their outgoing patriotism would soon get shut down by the words of the mysterious man who had 'intruded' upon their lands.
"I don't like your aura touching the people I care about, that is all," he began with a slight frown. "Don't release such an aura again, and we can have a civilized talk. I wish to know how to enter into this city after all.
And I would rather not do so by force That would really ruin the dates I had promised, you know?" He added in quick spurs with a nonchalant expression.
If these guards wouldn't allow him entry into this city, then he would simply have to force his way in!
Although, he would rather see that as an absolute last resort
Think about how dreary the dates he had planned would be! Not to mention that this kingdom was the territory of a certain silly blue-haired 'girl' that he had met all those years ago. With all these things in mind, he would prefer to solve things peacefully.
"We will just need you to sign out on a few forms that will allow you to gain a temporary identity, it should last you long enough until you're able to gain an identity of your own!" The lead guard spoke with a wide smile as he turned toward a normal sized door at a particular section of the enormous gate walls.
The door looked analogous to that of the entranceway for an ant when lined up next to the excessively big walls
"After you," he said as he opened the door with a welcoming smile.
"Thank you." An indifferent voice escaped Azmond's mouth as he entered into the space that lay beyond the door.
Boundless and Crystalline followed not long after with neutral expressions. They quickly latched onto Azmond as they opted to let him decide everything for them.
"... Hmm?" He put on an entertained face as felt the two beauties cling to him, not to mention that he quite enjoyed the softness pressing up against him.
The three guards noticed Crystalline conduct such a bold act, however they quickly ignored it before proceeding with the temporary identity procedures.
"Please sit right there, as we move forward with getting you two a temporary identity. And I assume you don't need an identity for the slime on top of your head?" He asked with a small chuckle, clearly treating it as a rhetorical question.
"Yes, I would."
However, his light joke was immediately swept away by the serious voice of Azmond.
"Sorry what? Could you please repeat what you said?" The guard captain asked with an awkward expression.
'This ungodly looking man must surely be joking, right?'
That's right, these two guards clearly noticed the absurd looks of the two 'visitors', especially the looks of the man. However, they were professionals and wouldn't freak out about things like appearances.
Although they had never seen a person as good looking as Azmond, that didn't mean their principles would change.
