Azmond was going to brood over the topic for a little while longer, but before he could, the sociable voice of the female clerk sounded out once more.
"Advance in the ranks of the Adventurer's Association to get better and better identity tokens! And also make sure not to lose it, for it would be quite the hassle for you to get a new one." She began with an informative tone.
"That is all that I needed to tell you. I wish you good luck on your journey and happy hunting, Azmond!" She ended the conversation short as she noticed a few people backed up behind Azmond and the girls in line.
Azmond noticed such a thing too, as he moved over a little before heading in the direction of the exit, garnering the stares and glares of a majority of the adventurers on his way out.
It seemed like he had offended more than one person with his 'disposal' of that 'trash' from earlier.
However, was he one to care about the trivialities involving the ravings of ants?
The answer was an obvious no!
He could care less what all those adventurers thought about him! After all, it wasn't like any of them were strong enough to put a scratch on either him or Crystalline. They were merely bugs with over-inflated egos, and he would see and treat them as such.
"Where are we going now, Azmond?" Crystalline asked with a small hint of anticipation shining in her frosty gaze.
She was clearly patiently waiting for Azmond to take her on the 'dates' that he promised her earlier.
He noticed such a thing as well, and his next words would leave her in a better mood, "We are going to rent an Inn room, and book it for the next few months. And afterwards, we will go on that date," he responded with a kind smile.
I want him to do even more than that, li-like that stuff we did before' She embarrassed herself with her own thoughts as her face took on an even deeper shade of red before she hurriedly made her way back into the embrace of Azmond.
'This girl is such a mess~,' he thought to himself with a small chuckle before he began heading in the direction of an Inn he saw quite a while ago.
"Mhmu! Mhmu!" Emu squeaked with an anxious expression.
"I know how patiently you have been waiting for some more monsters to devour. But don't you worry, Little Emu, we shall have all the monsters you could possibly hunt tomorrow." He reassured the black and gold slime, followed by his hand petting its jiggly body.
"Mhmu! Mhmu!" It could hardly wait for such a moment to occur!
Azmond had heard from the clerk lady after he got his token identity, that he could go up to the 'mission board' that was in the Adventurer's Association Guild hall whenever he felt like it.
All he needed to do to accept a mission was grab a poster off the board. And to gain the rewards from such a mission, all he needed to do was verify that he had completed the quest with the clerk.
That was basically all there was to the Adventures Guild. People put up quests on the board and offered equivalent rewards for the efforts expended, before the Adventurer's Association paid the Adventurer's for their successful completions of the quests.
.....
Azmond and gang approached the entrance to an Inn that had a medium-sized sign with the words, 'Travelers Inn' on the front of it. The letters were in a cursive font while the sign was made from an unknown blue form of wood.
The building itself was around 10,000 square feet in diameter with a style that was analogous to that of the Middle Ages.
It was the picture-perfect image of an Inn that Azmond had seen mentioned so many times in his past life. This type of establishment would usually be one of the first places a transmigrator would go to upon arriving in a new world!
