The old man, upon hearing the dry words of Elara, couldn't help but glance off into the distance, seemingly gazing straight through the billions of tons of earth that separated him from Azmond.
However, his vision didn't just stop there; it stretched on until he saw a now-distant figure booming through the skies at insane speeds.
"I think he will make it," he added after pulling back his sight.
"Is that so, sir? What makes you think that?" She asked with a perplexed tone.
There should be an almost non-existent likelihood that the new adventurer could make it through hundreds of quests in a mere week. Even a high-ranking adventurer would have some trouble completing so many quests in such a short span of time.
'Of course, there is the possibility that the woman he had with him could be at a high enough level. But I doubt that... Why would a high-level woman be with such a weak man?'
Her thoughts were swirling around, attempting to understand what made her Branch Master think they would make it back within 7 days. However, she was soon taken out of her reverie by the calm voice of her Branch Master.
"Just treat it as a gut feeling, Elara. They will make it back within 7 days, and I will offer them that quest that has been giving us some trouble."
"You mean the 'Earth Dragon Extermination' quest? The one that even multiple C-Rank Adventurer's could not complete within the allotted time limit?" She questioned with a bewildered look on her face.
"Yes, that is the one I am referring to."
"Is that wise, sir?"
"I think so."
"I see" She replied with a heavy sigh.
Her Branch Master was such an eccentric person, and she wouldn't deny the trouble's that come along with being subservient to such a 'unique' man.
"Just let it play out, and we shall see if they come back within the designated time period." His rich voice sounded out once more as he began to close his eyes.
One would think that he was in the midst of an enlightenment session if they saw him right now, however, that was far from the truth.
*Sigh*
An exasperated sigh escaped Elara's lips when she saw her master fall asleep in the middle of their talks again.
******
A crimson aura was unleashed as swords of the same hue materialized in thin air!
Hundreds of said swords surrounded him like an impregnable fortress of shields as he pulled down his hand and let them loose.
Whoosh!
They glided through the skies before making their way into the primitive-looking village full of green goblins.
"Esceetch!!" "Esceetch!!"
Thud! Thud!
Loud screeches echoed out for a few seconds before he ultimately dispatched of all of the goblins in the village within record times!

Pop-up notifications bombarded his vision in amounts numbering in the hundreds, and although he didn't level up, he gained a sizable sum of exp from this swift extermination mission.
Although the exp from the monsters wasn't his goal for these extermination missions to begin with, in actuality, he was doing it for the added quest completions and quest bonuses. All of which gave him a differently calculated amount of exp.
It even bordered on the millions of experience points from a simple 10-second extermination quest like this one. And this wasn't even the first quest he had been given by both the system and the Adventurer's Association. This was the 30th Quest he had completed for both of his quest givers.
And he had done so within an hour!
*Ding!* *You have completed 'Active Quest: 'Clean Out' the goblin village of 'BogMire'!*
*Ding!* *You have gained experience +10,000,000*
*Ding!* *You have leveled up!*
A few more notifications appeared in his vision as he made his way over to the large tent that lay in the middle of the encampment. It looked eerily similar to the large tents that held all the women in the last 30 monster villages he exterminated.
