....
"Hmm"
Azmond looked over his new System Interface, and although he noticed a bunch of improvements, he caught no sight of any cheats that went beyond the superficial level.
There were, however, plenty of new laws, improved law comprehension rates, higher levels in his 'Exterior Cultivation', 'Dual Cultivation', and an increase in his skill levels.
Furthermore, there was also a major increase in his 'Sword Law' and 'Sword Aura', which he assumed was due to devouring the weapons and corpses of all those Monster Kings.
He also surmised that the new laws and comprehension rates he obtained were due to those High-Rank Monster Kings as well.
'It looks like even ants have their uses if they're given enough resources,' he thought.
The families of a lot of the High-Rank Monster Kings were descended from a Monster Emperor one way or another, and it was due to such 'heritage' that all the High-Rank Monster Kings were able to acquire items that improved not only their cultivations but also their law comprehension rates.
That's right! There were items that could increase your comprehension of a certain Law, assuming the item has the relevant aspect, of course.
But that doesn't change the fact that, just like most other things in cultivation, there's a way to increase your attributes with pure, unadulterated wealth!
Money was power, and power was strength, so strength equaled money!
And it was due to such universal principles that cultivatorsno matter their strengthprogressed through the realms in record time!
But, regardless, all of that was besides the point, so let's get back to Azmond's thoughts.
-
'So, what I got from all this is that I need to... I need to hunt all the rich young masters to get stronger in the fastest amount of time!'
Looking at his improved system interface was all it took for Azmond to decide the fates of an uncountable number of young master peng's.
'I guess face-slapping will become the norm for my path forward, huh?'
His smirk widened a little at such a thought, as he couldn't wait to see how many faces he'd have to slap to get out all the goodies!
And it turned out that he knew of just the place where he could slap some old foggy's till they dropped everything they ownedthat place being the twenty-first floor and above!
Azmond, with a new set of goals, decided it was time to go back and pick up the Monster Queen's before he headed up to the Twenty and Twenty First Floors.
"..." Calista's blush never left her face as she wrapped herself around a soft pillow, attempting to escape the mental torture being inflicted on her.
However, even in the midst of her tumultuous thoughts, she never once stopped munching on her sushi rolls.
'Azmond' She thought with reddened ears.
*Munch Munch*
The sounds of Calista munching and her squirming echoed out inside her room as she waited for the moans to stop with a flushed face.
Meanwhile, in a blue kingdom to the north of the Luminous Grounds, there lay a lavishly decorated castle. And inside that castle, there was a woman with a body beyond alluring.
The woman in question had on a small gold crown and a light blue dress that accentuated her curves like a glazed apple of untold proportions!
Marina sat on her throne, overlooking Azure and Sapphire, both of whom had arrived in the capital of AquaRing not even a few minutes ago.
And it didn't take long before her refined feminine voice reverberated out as she asked, "What happened to the boy?"
"..." "..."
Her apathetic words slithered into the ears of Azure and Sapphire, as they didn't know how to tell her of their failure.
"Well?" She questioned with a colder tone.
"!!" "!!"
Azure and Sapphire felt the killing intent laced in her voice, as they knew they had to say something!
And that was when Sapphire turned her head up to the imposing figure of her Queen, as she shouted, "We failed, My Queen!"
"..." Azure couldn't believe that the more composed one of them had just blurted out the truth.
She, along with her sister, looked up at Marina, attempting to ascertain her reaction to such news.
They expected her to be outraged at such a discovery; however, contrary to their expectations, she simply stared down at them with a stern gaze.
Such an intense stare lasted for a few seconds before she let out a tired sigh and said, "I figured as much"
