Chapter 385: A Distraction!?

....

Dragoth turned his aged face toward Grommash before saying, "We won't need to worry about them, since we'll be going in the opposite direction of where they are coming from."

"In the end, the Void Worms are only after the core of Asterion, so the likelihood of them going out of their way to chase us and the Behemoth Abomination is unlikely," he added.

"..." "..."

Grommash and Vorkath thought over his response for a second before Grommash asked, "What will we do about the human race and the other race's interferences?"

"..." Dragoth thought the question over for a moment.

However, it looked like Vorkath got to it first, as he said, "Can't we just use a 'decoy' to keep them distracted long enough for us to slip away in the chaos?"

Grommash and Dragoth pondered the matter for a second, and eventually, they agreed with Vorkath's proposal. But what none of them figured out was what they would use as the 'decoy'.

The first thought that came to their mind was that human invader who they had kicked out of the Luminous Grounds; however, he was far too weak to be able to distract the other Overseer's.

In fact, they would've just killed him right then and there if it were not for the fact that they couldn't use any 'lethal attacks' while stuck in the iridescent dimensiona dimension that slowed down time.

But regardless of the pest they had already gotten rid of, they were able to formulate an idea that might work.

And they all seemed to think of it at the same time, as they all shouted, "The Leviathan!"

"Yes, that is what we shall use," Vorkath began.

"Send 'Venomspine out to the 'Leviathan's Domain' and have him prepare for the moment when we absorb the life force of the other Monster Ancestor's to wake up the Behemoth," he ended with a slightly excited voice.

Grommash heard what Vorkath said, and he immediately agreed with this suggestion.

He flicked his sleeve a little as an oddly shaped token fell out.

And it looked like her irritation wouldn't end with just that, as a few women egged her on:

|Does that mean that you'd let him go after other women if you weren't there?| Boundless asked, followed by a small giggle escaping her lips.

"We thought we were the most perverted ones here, but it turns out that you're far worse than we are, Haha~," Meduse said with a light laugh.

"... Big Sister is no longer sister" Calista mumbled.

She would never forgive her sister for going after the same man whom she had chosen to be her mate! Neither would she allow it! Azmond was her mate! Only her mate!

'Azmond's not allowed to have any more mates!' She thought with puffed-out hamster cheeks.

"..." "..." "..."

Everyone took a quick glance at the adorable 5'2 creature beside them before they turned their gazes toward the devastated look on Clawdia's face.

"It looks like she took Calista's comment quite harshly" Clover whispered under her breath with an empathetic expression.

She felt a little sorry for the Catkin woman, who loved her little sister dearly.

And it looked like she wasn't the only one, as a fraction of the Monster Queen's and 'Collected Girl's' stared at Clawdia with similarly sympathetic looks on their faces.

*Jiggle Jiggle*

However, when they saw those two cannons attached to her chest, they immediately regretted ever feeling any modicum of empathy for that cow.

Clawdia's eyes darted around as she saw that everyone was against her, but the one that hurt the most was her sister's expression when she looked at her with that betrayed gleam in her eyes.

She figured this would happen as soon as she declared what she did a few minutes ago; however, she didn't regret what she did.

Not once would she think about changing things if she got another chance!
