Chapter 572: Chapter 566: Six Poles Beast Taming

“`

“Boom!”

Under Lornaa Lindwood’s control, the royal puppet chose to self-destruct.

The terror of a Ghost Immortal Elite’s lifetime of accumulated power erupting in an instant was truly formidable!

The devastating energy storm could nearly flatten everything in its vicinity, and even the Unborn Void God had no choice but to defend.

As the raging shockwave slowly dissipated, the entire Blood Rainbow garrison base was levelled, and the only things left in the sky were the broken bodies of the Unborn Void God and Void Willard.

Under the feet of the Vacant God, the Sun-Moon Wheel Flower opened its enormous maw, and as it devoured the massive energy, the shattered chest and left hand of the Unborn Void God began to rapidly heal.

“She still managed to escape, huh!” stated Void Willard, his face betraying no surprise.

After all, Lornaa Lindwood was the princess of the Umbral, adorned with numerous secret treasures. Even if her true body entered the Empty Zone, the certainty of killing her was only forty percent, and that was when his avatar only had the strength of a half-step Ghost Immortal.

Void Willard shook his head.

As long as the final plan succeeded, he did not lack what was so-called patience.

Otherwise, he would not have been able to spend thousands of years overturning his superiors, slaughtering the Blood Sanctum Clan that had been blinded by their past glories.

“Come, let us merge into one!”

Watching the Unborn Void God whose gaze was fixed on him, Void Willard spread out his arms with a gratified smile on his face, until the deity before him crushed his bones and devoured him to near completion.

Even though David Jones was at the peak of Mountain Blood Rainbow, he could still feel the intense vibrations coming from afar.

“Are they all dead?” David Jones’s expression was very somber.

Through the sensing of the Illusion-Piercing Eye, he detected that those familiar auras had burst forth to their peaks and then quickly vanished.

“Sister!” Theodore Lindwood gazed at his shattered bracelet, his eyes filled with a tinge of sorrow.

Rossetti Lindwood, on the other hand, stared blankly at the distant mountain range. She unconsciously licked her lips as if she had encountered something delicious, but then her eyes quickly regained clarity.

Commanding Rainbow to freeze the Mysterious Beast in front of him, David Jones, who had come back to his senses, urged, “Let’s go, let’s not waste the opportunity Her Highness has created for us.”

Without the Demonic Reflecting Mirror and a Class VI Arcane Star, killing a Mysterious Beast was a rather difficult task for David Jones, and so he avoided them whenever possible on the road. When unavoidable, he would freeze them into ice sculptures.

“This should be the place.”

When he saw the twisting stream flowing between the mountain ranges and the valley emerging with a hazy mist, David Jones stopped and formed mysterious and profound hand seals.

A deep yellow brilliance surged from the small hill and dispersed the mysterious mist of the valley, slowly rising an ancient gate, heavy and inscribed with mountainous beasts, from the ground.

A look of surprise appeared in David Jones’s eyes, and he turned his head towards Theodore Lindwood, “Your Highness, please open the Bipolar Gate.”

Theodore Lindwood nodded slightly, produced an exquisite dagger, and made a cut on his fingertip.

As the blood representing the royal lineage dropped, the Bipolar Gate opened slowly, revealing a twisted spatial channel.

David Jones glanced at Theodore Lindwood.

Understanding the cue, Theodore Lindwood took the lead and entered the Bipolar Gate first, with David Jones closely following behind.

After a spell of dizziness, an enormous red hall suddenly appeared before David Jones’s eyes.

“I hope all goes well!”

David Jones touched the gate, feeling its heavy aura and pushed with all his might.

“Buzz!” The gate merely vibrated slightly before returning to calmness.

Theodore Lindwood and Rossetti Lindwood both looked at David Jones.

“`

“Teacher, do you need help?” Rossetti Lindwood offered, rolling up her sleeves.

“No need, I can do it!” David Jones cleared his throat lightly and gently tapped his forearm and wrist.

Understanding the cue, Rainbow and Gluttonous Beast exchanged glances, their bodies tensed with effort, and the tightly shut doors slowly began to open under the combined strength of the man and his two pets.

“Let’s go!” David Jones beckoned to those behind him before rushing towards the grand doors.

Before entering, a faint glow burst forth from the doors, sweeping over the trio, as a cold, indifferent consciousness suddenly warned, “Please show the tiger tally to pass, or else you will be executed for treason!”

“Tiger tally?”

David Jones looked towards Theodore Lindwood, who nonchalantly took out a purple-gold token engraved with the character “Umbral.”

“Access granted!”

As the voice died away, David Jones and the others found themselves in a hall storing various treasures, a flash of light being their only transition.

Senior Magic Stones for the cultivation of Ghost King Elites lay scattered in nondescript piles to the left and right of the hall, looking as worthless as ordinary stones on the roadside.

In the center of the hall stood five luxurious counters, each fortified with high-level defensive inscriptions.

Noticing David Jones’s surprised gaze, Theodore Lindwood took the initiative to suggest, “Please feel free to take whatever treasures you desire from here.”

After speaking, he walked to the front of the hall and took an ordinary-looking necklace from the leftmost counter, then turned his head to look at David Jones.

“Sir, thank you for bringing me here; may we meet again if fate allows!”

The necklace in Theodore Lindwood’s hand suddenly burst into intense light, taking him with it as he vanished from the spot.

“In the face of great peril, indeed, every man for himself!”

David Jones was not concerned with Theodore Lindwood’s disappearance; in fact, he was rather pleased.

After all, with Theodore Lindwood’s weak strength, he was no aid to him; having one less burden to worry about naturally made David Jones happy.

Moreover, what mattered most to David Jones now was finding the Holy Stone, so he ignored the tempting Arcane Crystals to his left and right and focused on the counters.

On the counters lay a book, armor, a bead, and a stone, each.

“Holy Stone”: A Level VIII legendary resource with incredible Energy within, renowned for its extreme stability. If detonated in one go, the power released could even surpass a combined strike from several legendary fighters, hence it’s also known as a Saint Crystal.

“Finally found it!”

The sight of his target relieved many of the pent-up stresses in David Jones’s heart.

“Ee!”

With a thought from Rainbow, the Holy Stone immediately fell into David Jones’s hands.

“Ready for use!”

Feeling the readiness of the Hidden Dragon within him, David Jones suddenly resolved.

Instead of immediately using Hidden Dragon to break through space, David Jones, after a moment’s hesitation, extinguished the tempting yet extremely dangerous idea.

If he attempted to use Hidden Dragon to breach space, the ensuing commotion would surely not be small and might even attract the attention of the Unborn Void God and be thwarted.

Rather than taking a risky gamble now and alerting the enemy, it was better to wait for an excellent opportunity for a do-or-die effort.

After all, as Lornaa Lindwood had said, the Umbral Empire would never allow the Unborn Void God to expand the Divine Zone unchecked. The army set to exterminate the Vacant God could arrive at any moment, and that would be his best chance to snatch life from the jaws of death.

Once he’d set his subsequent plan, David Jones began to examine the treasures on the other counters with interest.

Soon, he was drawn to a golden book at the corner counter, with five solid characters clearly written on it.

“Six-pole Beast Taming Technique!”
