Chapter 91: 8) Gentle mother....

Capital, the place for riches and power, be it name, fame, or game, they have it all... It's a garden for soaring Dragons and Phoenix.

She clenched her fist, unable to shake off the certain feelings from her heart.

Capital, a place where she has some unwanted memories, like a dry leaf, it only serves to show the deadness.

She was also originally from the capital, she wasn't from any powerful or top families but her family wasn't worse either...

She had a happy family that lived in peace and harmony, however... It all came crashing down when Bai Family attacked, 12 years ago.

4 masked woman, hiding their face, annihilated their family,

Yang Su's eyes grow distant as she recounts the painful memories of her past. Her fingers tremble slightly as she clenches them, the knuckles turning white.

She was born and raised in Capital, the daughter of a modest merchant family.

Yang Su's gaze darkens, a shadow passing over her features, she still has a deep hatred for the Bai Family, who brought calamity to her life with a ray of happy sunshine.

In the aftermath, Yang Su had been consumed by grief and a burning desire for vengeance, yet she couldn't do anything... She wasn't in any power to fight such a powerful family.

She had escaped the streets of the Capital, homeless and destitute, her heart hardened by the cruelty she had endured, she couldn't even cultivate peacefully.

It was during those dark days that she had first crossed paths with Patriarch Yang - a man who would not only become her savior, but her husband... At first, he seemed powerful and a hope-bringer, she had even bore a son for him, yet, he was deemed useless, unable to go against Bai Family.

The hope she had in her heart was crushed... Her husband, the taker of her chastity was unable to avenge her.

Yang Su's expression softened as she thought of the fact that, Yang Dong had pulled her from the depths of despair and she shouldn't ask for more, greed is bad.

Not to mention, she was the only wife of Yang Dong as he mostly focused on cultivation rather than women, thus, he is also a genius... Someone who managed to reach soul wondering realm and build this Yang Family, all on his own.

Despite, all this, there was still a slight hope for revenge.

Her eyes looked up and down at Bai Lung, completely unaware of the fact that the man in front of her was The Young Master of the Bai family himself, not to mention, her past was also hidden from her husband so, he didn't know much of her and her family.

'If I could somehow get...' her heart was like a volcano, the former of revenues were bulging hard, however, thinking logically, she knew, even if she could use him for her gain, there was no way the background behind him would fight for her past.

At worse, he might actually get kicked from the family.

After all, the Bai Family is powerful but nothing much is known about them.

Though, she believed her family was like a flower, sweet and gentle, but truth was far from the surface.

Her family wasn't sweet and innocent at all, her father, was an actual devil worshipper who used forbidden methods... Not to mention, her father used to sleep with underage kids below 5, and sacrifice them to the devil... Because these kids don't possess spiritual roots but rather possess spiritual embryos.

Yang Su returned shortly, a tray of freshly brewed tea in her hands.

The aromatic fragrance wafted through the air, a soothing contrast to the tension that had been building.

As she poured the steaming liquid into delicate porcelain cups, her eyes remained fixed on the young man before her.

His harsh demeanor intrigued her - a glimmering diamond concealed within a rough exterior.

"Please, help yourself," she offered, her voice soft yet laced with a hint of calculation. "I do hope you find it to your liking..."

Yang Su settled gracefully onto the cushion across from Bai Lung, her movements fluid and practiced like a lady.

She sipped her tea, savoring the earthy notes, all the while studying him intently, completely not checking on her resting husband at all.

"I must confess, I'm quite curious about you, Young Master. Your skills are most impressive, yet there is an air of mystery that surrounds you... Even though you seem to be harsh to me, I can't help but wonder about your background,"

Her eyes glinted with a spark of mischief.

"Tell me, what brings one as talented as yourself to our humble abode... I presume you have something you need, if so, feel free to ask it, for saving my husband, consider it as a simple reward," knowing the man, she was dealing with, she had maintained her composure instead of acting slutty like brain-dead.

Bai Lung regarded Yang Su with a measured gaze, his features betraying no emotion.

As he accepted the steaming cup of tea, his fingertips grazed hers briefly, sending a subtle shiver down her spine.

"I'm merely here to drink some wine with your husband," he replied evenly, taking a slow, deliberate sip.

His eyes narrowed slightly, pinning Yang Su with an unwavering stare.

"Though I must admit, I find you equally intriguing, lady Yang..." A ghost of a smile tugged at the corners of his lips.

"There is a depth to you that piques my curiosity... Isn't it pretty interesting, that you didn't even bother looking at your husband,"

Yang Su felt her heart quicken at his words, a thrill of anticipation coursing through her. She leaned forward slightly, her gaze never leaving his.

It felt like time had stopped... The servants around her, Saintess, Luo Yi... everybody seems to be frozen.

She doesn't know what happened, but she remained calm and composed, knowing very well that this must be the power of the Young master.

Truly, a mouse can hunt the tiger, at such age, such power... Even she is weak compared to him.

"Young Master is truly dragon among dragons, you really make my married heart flutter like a maiden's," she said while she sipped the tea, completely hiding the nervousness.

Meanwhile, Bai Lung didn't like to play boring games as such, he went straight point.

"Lady Yang... I know there is nothing between you and your husband, and it seems you have a deeper purpose in life, so, let me make it clear, would you like to submit to me... I can make you the matriarch of the Yang family,"
