Chapter 1028: CHAPTER 997 GAIA

“What happened? Shouldn’t Blue World have recovered from the invasion now that you are in charge.” Clwyd had become this world chosen one in order to obtain the protection of Gaia, after realising its impending doom, it sought help from a much higher plane of existence.

Also, Beast Plane and this world is connected, they could certainly ask for help if things truly go south.

Clwyd sighs in disappointment “The worlds that were under Blue World’s jurisdiction have been devoured by the forces of Outer World.”

He thought he had obtained a high grade world that had power over ten other worlds but now all of those worlds were now under siege by the Outer World.

The fate of this world had taken a massive blow and had regressed into a mid grade world, it wouldn’t be long before it becomes a low grade one.

Shadowslash also sighs, he knew that such a thing would certainly happen now that the fate of this world has been plundered by the outsiders.

He then thought about something and said “Do not worry, once Gaia has established its own domain within this vast universe, we will travel to the universe of these invaders and we are going to be the ones plundering their resources.”

Clwyd’s eyed and everyone else’s shone, they couldn’t help but become giddy in anticipation thinking about this.

The Pearl maiden bows at him, she knows that without Gaia, their world would have been destroyed by the invaders.

Even though she doesn’t like the feeling of their world being under their former enemy, it is much better compared to being destroyed.

“Pearl Maiden what has brought you here?” Blue World might have become under Clwyd but the people of Gaia could only occupy about 25% of it which is actually already a lot but still they cannot expand since they don’t want to invite the ire of this world.

The Pearl Maiden bowed and said “Lord Shadowslash, we of the Aqua Race Clan have a favor to ask of you and your empire.”

Clwyd spoke in a rude manner “What do you mean and your empire? Listen here! my big brother is the empire! Every decision he makes is tactically approved by everyone!”

Everyone from Gaia nodded, they didn’t feel anything wrong with what Clwyd had said, meanwhile, Pearl Maiden couldn’t help but smile bitterly after seeing this.

She might be the ruler of her clan and is respected by all the powers of this world but she cannot deny that she wouldn’t be able to obtain such a level of authority like Shadowslash.

The person she was jealous of right now wasn’t actually thinking of her and was thinking of his brother.

Shadowslash knew that Clwyd is still angry at all the major powers of this world because they had persecuted him during his time in this world.

The Battle Whale Clan should thank their blessings because they are considered as his number one target.

Shadowslash could only pat the head of his brother, he knew that the last part of his soul is still in the hands of the Battle Whale Clan, he wouldn’t be able to regain consciousness if Blue World didn’t initiate to fuse with him.

He nodded at Pearl Maiden “What favour is that you asked of me?”

“We want you to assist our clan in protecting a world that is connected to this world, of course we wouldn’t ask for your assistance without any compensation.” Hearing this, everyone looks at her with disdain.

Shadowslash was actually mildly interested in her request, he asks “So what compensation would you give to us?”

Pearl Maiden took a deep breath and her expression became solemn “That world is on the verge of destruction, if you help us defend that world, our clan and the remaining power of that world will give you half of that world for you to rule.”

Instantly, everyone took a cold deep breath, they didn’t expect that the Blue World Aqua Race Clan would be so daring.

Shadowslash raised his eyebrow “I say that is quite tempting, unfortunately, your clan wouldn’t be able to decide that all on your own.”

Pearl Maiden swore “I assure you, our clan is quite sincere on our request, almost all of the major powers of that world had either perished or had escaped to other worlds, the remaining powers had already made a heavenly oath to their world that they would accept this type of compensation.”

Shadowslash nodded, he knew that this world Aqua Race Clan isn’t daring enough to try and trick him, he nodded and said “Okay, I will give you my answer after my return to Gaia, Clwyd will be the one to inform you of my decision.”

He then said goodbye to Clwyd and finally returned back to his homeworld, exactly the moment he had arrived, the entire world trembled as if celebrating his return.

Leafinia who was always present in Gaia and had actually become the overseer instantly sensed his aura and she excitedly flew towards his direction to greet him.

Her reaction didn’t go unnoticed as every power of this world put importance on her presence, since she had been assigned as the overseer of the world, her status had become the temporary ruler of the Thousand Race Empire.

Of course since the ruling method of the empire is quite lax, not many were threatened by her but unlike Shadowslash, she is quite unforgiving to those that had made a mistake.

During her rule, multiple mediums to low class powers were eradicated because of their decision to be under the foreign other world powers.

Those that joined the United Federation Alliance actually liked her decision, the Demon Fox Clan even became the number one informant of the elves during this period of time.

Their number and strength compared to the Rising Dragon Kingdom their ally which was also their rival is quite lacking.

The older generation might be comparable amongst each other but in terms of quality and quantity of geniuses in the younger generation, the Demon Fox Clan is utterly defeated.

The only reason why they are still equal to the dragon clan is because of Mary and the girls but after LS became the ruler of the Rising Dragon Kingdom, they had surpassed them greatly.

This made the older generation cling to the thigh of the strongest power of their world to continue competing with their rival.

Back to the present, Shadowslash was greeted by Leafinia, his return was then spread by the Aqua Race Clan and instantly the entire world had decided to celebrate.

He felt at ease, he knew that he just wanted to enter Time World to cleanse the killing intent that had affected his mind but after looking at the expression of the people that he cares about, he decided to rest for now.

Gaia is now extremely different compared to the past, because of the scholars that were promoted by the Thousand Race Empire, the technology of this world had become more advanced.

Shadowslash was carried back to Thousand Forest Continent by a giant flying ship that has the flag of their empire flying on top of it.

Now that Gaia has become even bigger and nurtured multiple small domains around it, transportation items are now hot items, it had become a symbol of status on this world.

Shadowslash was made comfortable in his own cabin which was actually a small domain, he was fascinated by the technology of this vehicle, he asked Leafinia to come inside his room.

“Leafinia can I ask you something?” He was eager to ask the information regarding the advancement of this world.

She nodded, she wanted to show off to her big brother/master.

“How did our world advance this much in just a short span of time?”

“Big brother it is because of the crisis we are facing, because of the invasion, the importance regarding cultivation had risen greatly, leaving the other paths to decline a little bit.”

“All of this had changed when multiple renowned scholars had asked me to send them to Time World.”

Shadowslash’s expression changes, he instantly knew the decision of his little sister and he wasn’t angry at her.

“Because of their insistence, I relent to them and sent them to Time World, there, they spent their entire time researching multiple subjects that could enhance the lives of our people and the strength of our army.”

Shadowslash sighed when he heard this, he then said “Are they still inside Time World, I need to meet these brilliant minds and reward them for their contribution.”

Leafinia laughs “Don’t worry about their rewards, big brother, their lifespan has increased because of my help, also they are treated like kings on Time World.”

“They are passionate about their research and they don’t want anything else but the sense of fulfilment that they would achieve greatness.”

He couldn’t help but smile when he heard this, he shook his head “Thank you and I am grateful to how you take care of this world while I was absent but I still want to meet them and reward them personally, a reward that they would certainly crave.”
