Chapter 1074: CHAPTER 1043 MEETING THE PRINCE

The prince also became solemn, he took a deep breath in order to calm his raging emotion, he cautioned his men “When we arrive at our destination, we must act cautiously and politely, if we are truly facing a god or just a servant of his, we should pray that it is a benevolent one.”

The knights nodded while sweat accumulated in their body, fortunately for them, no one could see their appearance because of their thick armor but still, they are now much more quieter than ever, even the gaudy knight became meek.

Shadowslash who was instructing those that have stayed in the city, now that he is planning to rebuild this place into the image of Hope City of his empire, he must do it well, unfortunately, no one from the Cultivator Universe could enter this world without having the strength of a divine being.

This is not his doing but The Fragment, it is in order to protect itself, that is why, the timeline between this world and the surrounding worlds are vastly different.

As he was now trying to build a city that is solely focused on magical and technological property, he did not notice the group of knights entering his domain.

The orphans and the children were actually helping in the process of rebuilding their city, Shadowslash was not ordering them.

They just wanted to join, with Shadowslash providing food and encouragement, the residents of the city blindly followed his order, suddenly, he frowned.

He teleported into a different spot and with his powerful divine sense, he caught a couple of children and adults and stopped them from getting harmed.

The building in front of them collapsed but with just a snort, he turned the building into dust, he warned the people he had just saved “Do not be careless! I do not want to build this city atop of your corpses, I want everyone of you to exercise caution!”

He disappeared and reappeared in his earlier spot, while those that he had just saved were celebrating, the rest were confused as to where he had gone.

But the news regarding his action started spreading, the residents became more motivated but they still followed his instruction and exercised caution.

After watching everything, Shadowslash gathers everyone into the city square, without hesitation, everyone quickly races into the city square, even a lame person was actually running faster than some children.

Once everyone had gathered, they all simultaneously focused on one individual, some even could not help but kneel, Shadowslash did not show anything outwardly but inwardly he was speechless.

He saw even pregnant women and disabled individuals kneeling with difficulty, he was already experienced in such action but still, he could not help but feel a little bit speechless.

“Okay, everyone I have gathered all of you here to announce something, I have discovered that many of you were not fit to work as builders so I decided to split you guys into different divisions.”

Everyone looked at each other and nodded, they will believe everything he will say, they are already blinded with faith.

“Firstly, the pregnant women, you guys are carrying lives, you must stay and rest, you just need to watch the children with the disabled children.”

“The older ones, those that are capable of cooking will be in charge of preparing meals for everyone together with those that will choose to become the cook of this city.”

Some individuals were inwardly celebrating, they felt that it was their time to shine, they swore to shock Shadowslash with their food but they did not know that, he had tasted some of the most delicious meals in the lower plane of this universe.

Shocking his taste buds is something that they could only hope to achieve but will never become a reality.

“The builders, you guys are the main workers of this current time, that is why, I will give you all strength equal to a hundred men, even if you encounter any accident, you will not die.”

All the builders were ecstatic, they never thought that their low end jobs would actually become one of the greatest achievements they would ever obtain in their entire lives.

Shadowslash continues “If your work satisfies me, I will make the superhuman gift that I will bless upon all of you, permanent.”

This was music to the ears of the builders, Shadowslash then turns towards the blacksmith, seeing this, all the smiths became nervous but at the same time excited, they knew that it was their turn to shine.

“Blacksmiths, all of you are responsible for building and crafting all the equipment and other items needed by the builders in order to complete their mission, those that were found to be excellent would be rewarded the same as the builder and would be able to access the blessing Flame Manipulation.” Everyone started imagining themselves as the people winning Shadowslash’s favour.

The children felt sad, they knew that they did not have any chance to participate in this event but at least, their starting point would be greater than their parents.

Everyone started working via their roles, some of them became hunters, they are now competing amongst each other in order to hunt for the best food present nearby.

The entire city was restless but Shadowslash’s mind is somewhere else, he knew that the dungeons would definitely open and the lives of millions of beings would drastically change, some for the better but most would have worse lives than they have before.

He closed his eyes as guilt washed over him, for power, he was forced to do such a thing, that is why, he wanted to save as many lives as he could.

“I think, I should build an Adventure Guild in this world and give it my blessing, as long as powerful adventurers started popping out, there should be less lives lost.” His eyes brighten but quickly, it dims down.

He sighed and thought “But who would be the perfect individual to promote the Adventure Guild and become the first ever guild master of this world?”

Suddenly, someone tugged his clothes, he was startled, he knew that because his body and spirit is still recovering, someone managed to catch him off guard.

He turned his head and saw Ivy pointing in a certain direction, he nodded and carried her in his arms, she now has a jade-like body after being cleansed of her impurities, in terms of strength, she is even comparable to adults.

Shadowslash suddenly froze, he became ecstatic, he wanted to kiss Ivy’s cheek but he quickly refrained this because he still needed to put up an image to everyone.

He was now considered a god to everyone, Ivy is his saintess but still, he cannot just treat her as his child.

He now has an idea on who to choose as the first guild master of this world, he will choose Ivy’s sister, the two would certainly support each other and would become a force that even the most major power of this world cannot just piss off.

The two finally arrive at the location where Ivy has pointed to, there, he saw the prince and his knights standing in a disciplined manner.

Everyone was stunned to see Shadowslash, they did not expect that the so-called God they are going to meet was him.

They cannot deny that he has an appearance that surpasses mortal men but still, they could not find any godlike aura from him, they do not know that, Shadowslash only restrains his aura because if he doesn’t, he would inflict heavy spiritual harm to every living being in the area.

Just as they were stunned, the gaudy knight started shouting “This is the so-called God? Are you bullsh*ting me right now?! He is just a mortal man.”

Shadowslash turns to him and with a wave of his hand, the gaudy knight was thrown to the sky, he was not going to kill him but he will let him experience fear that would scare the sh*t out of him.

The knights were stunned, the prince was also shocked by the sudden turn of events, he now realised that the human no, the being in front of him is anything but normal.

Shadowslash’s golden iris shines in a bright light, he finally realizes what status the person in front of him is carrying “So you are a descendant of a royal family but why do you have so low bad karma, that is strange.”

The person in front of him is a true royalty, not just any naive individual that was born in the royal family, as a true royalty, he should have dirty his hands in order to obtain the throne but his bad karma was too low for someone of a royal descent.

He started laughing “It seemed that I had found the perfect ruler for the kingdom that I am going to build.”

The prince who was about to bow his head because of their earlier disrespectful action was stunned to hear what Shadowslash had said, so did the already kneeling knights.

They then hear him say “Come, I shall introduce you to everyone in this city, I want them to recognise you because fate has destined us to meet.”

Of course this was all a lie, Shadowslash just like the Prince because of the amount of bad karma he has.
