Aion couldn't dispose of the ice dragon's body so soon, he had to check who helped him, but in the direction the attack came from, he only saw his mother sitting on the bed that had fallen on the ground… he facepalmed. When he changed classes, the death knight protecting her disappeared, and she fell. Fortunately, the bed was that sturdy, but the impact woke her up.
"Aion, what happened? Where are we?" Artemisia asked. "I saw a dragon, and then I thought that I was still dreaming, and then I saw you and decided to help."
Putting the elemental weakness aside, that lightning bolt packed quite the punch… to think that Artemisia could use that much mana and so fast… Maybe Aion inherited some of her talents, and the build wasn't the main reason that he could use magic so well. In any case, he was glad that his mother was feeling well enough to bombard him with numerous questions. There wasn't much to worry...
"This will take a while to explain…" Aion said.
"I was captured… and I didn't even notice… hah… I have fallen so much… how much timehasd passed since I was captured?" Artemisia asked.
"Two weeks or so," Aion replied.
"Two weeks?! I spent two weeks sleeping without bathing or anything?" Artemisia asked.
"That is what you are worried about?" Aion asked. "They probably had some women in their group that looked after yo. In any case, you don't look dirty."
Aion didn't know if those assholes wanted to sacrifice her to summon the goddess or if they wanted Artemisia's body to bring the goddess back to the world… while they apparently poisoned her, the cut on Aion's throat was small. While Artemisia looked depressed, Aion realized that they had to move on, it was getting dark and had e killed an important guy in the area, so it was hard to tell when they were going to be chased again.
"Wait here for a minute, and I will check that the guys inside the temple are all dead," Aion said.
The dragon's body was on the other side of the mountain, so Aion didn't have to worry about being seen, and Artemisia was too weak to walk. Still, he had no idea what he should use the dragon for. He couldn't make it a zombie yet, and he was quite sure he couldn't turn it into a death knight. That skill only worked on humans or being similar to humans… it probably would work on a dragonnewt and similar creatures.
"Shit… I can't turn into a death knight or skeleton either," Aion thought. "I guess I will get the materials."
Aion touched the dragon with his weapon and started to process it. Much to his surprise, the dragon took the one thousand slots of processing… the creature was that big. After that, he headed to the interior of the temple and found that everything was still frozen. Just touching the ice was enough to cause frostbites, so Aion had to fly… eventually, he reached that room and found some red blocks of ice… but they were only on the size of feet, and their numbers were that small.
"Retards… they summoned a dragon only to become its snack…" Aion said. "In any case, what the hell is this statue?"

Sealed Statue of Time: An old relic created in an unknown era made with the sole purpose of sealing time.
"Sealing time?" Aion frowned. "How a single relic can actually seal time?"
That didn't make much sense… Aion wondered if his mother could explain that to him. Still, he decided to do so once they returned home. After leaving the temple, Aion changed his class. They would have to fly for a while and only at night to avoid problems. Hopefully, they won't get close to individuals like the old man and his weird eyes.
When Aion left the temple and then headed to his mother, he noticed that the air arounhim d was weird. He couldn't tell how, but something had changed. When he hurried to check on his mother, he saw that she was in the same spot, but a weird group of people wearing dark armor was there.
One of them was having his hands at him, but that only made Aion frown. When he approached his mother, Aion confirmed that he was as confused as him. Still, when Aion focused his eyes on the group, he saw someone familiar…
"That guy is…" Aion said.
"Do you know someone there?" Artemisia asked. "Ah, that silver hair…"
"That is the prisoner that I helped escape," Aion said. "I forgot his name, but I guess those guys are his friends."
For such a suspicious group to show up now… It was only natural that Aion would raise his guard. Regardless, he had to check things since they were blocking the entrance. Perhaps they could escape using any part of the barrier, but that could be tested later.
"You are… The weakling prisoner that had the weird power, why are you here?" Aion asked.
"The name is Sauros Herandins… While I was a prisoner and I was weakened, that doesn't make me a weakling," Sauros said. "Anyway, we came to help, but it seems you have everything under control. My apologies for arriving so late."
