Sauros and Seris just looked at each other and shrugged. They considered that Aion might dominate the world or plan to, just to scare to end all prejudice toward his mother. He certainly had the potential since, in only five years. He became one of the richest lords of the Zaera kingdom. He wasn't arrogant, and he was hard-working, so the chances of him making mistakes were close to none. Still, the chances of that happening were pretty low... he was a pacifist at heart and only wanted a peaceful life.
In any case, the group spent some time dismantling the ship, and Aion used his powers on the parts that Sauros decided to leave alone, but he couldn't process the whole ship… even though he could process an entire dragon. He got some high-quality wood and iron but nothing else… he decided to use those to improve the spear refinement to max level.

"It is quite refreshing to see that…" Aion said while showing a smile of ecstasy. "That was a good exercise, my head is fresh now, and I even got a good idea…"
While the sailors were leaving the pirate ship behind and theirs began to move, Aion sat on the frontal part of the deck and then began to play with his lute. He had realized a long time ago that such a class could only be leveled up like that by making a lot of people to listen to it. Still, Aion rarely would think of playing anything. He was active and energetic to a fault…
"His weapon turns into a lute too… what the heck is that?" Seris asked.
"No idea… maybe it is a very old magic tool. Such things were relatively common thousands of years ago," Sauros said. "However, they were mainly created using the souls of the users in order not to be stolen…"
"How can he use a weapon that was supposed to be made using someone else's soul, then?" Seris asked.
"He is good with magic, and maybe he learned the method and created his own," Sauros replied. "In any case, it seems that it has some magic effect on the song as well… I can feel my body being filled with power."
"Me too…" Seris said.
For the next hour, Aion used the Power Song to increase everyone's strength and make their work easier, but he changed it to the Magic Song and made them feel rested as well. From that day onward, Aion played the lute every day. Until the guys that worked at night asked him to play some songs on their turn as well. It was a bit troublesome, but Aion did that, and from that moment onward, the crew began to open up for him.
"What a calculative bunch…" Aion said. "Well, it is convenient for me, so I guess it is fine."
Around one week after they fought the pirates, Aion noticed that the ship was moving a bit eastward. Around the same time, Sauros informed them that they were approaching one of the ports that they were planning to go to.
"One of them? Aion asked. "Can't we find the items we need on a single port?"
"We can, but we don't want to make people think that we are going to the dungeon. All of the adventurers that go buy the same tools," Sauros explained. "We will buy them separately to make people think that we are merchants."
The ports were part of the same country. The place was called Xhanxis, the place was divided into four large islands, and each one had a lord, but they had been allies for many years. It was quite refreshing to find a place where people weren't trying to kill each other out of greed.
"We will stop in three islands to get three different types of items," Sauros declared. "We haven't been here many times before, so we don't know well what are the best places to hide a ship. With that in mind, the crew of The Breeze of the Sea will circle around the islands and approach at night on the spot we disembarked."
The Breeze of the Sea… that was an odd name for a ship… but it suited their captain. Regardless, Sauros' strategy wasn't half bad. They would look suspicious if they had just arrived in the city and then left soon afterward, after all.
On the next day, the group slowed down again in the afternoon, and then they reached the first island at night. Aion had never seen such an island before… one couldn't even see their end while looking to the sides. Then again, those places were supposed to be as big as the territories from back home.
As if they had some things to hide, which they did, the group landed as soon as night fell, and the crew of the ship left soon after. The port city where they were heading was pretty close, but the group still had to deal with some monsters along the way. The first monster was a turtle-like creature that had that kind of carapace, but the beast could hide inside and make the whole thing turn into a sphere and then charge at the targets… Aion couldn't help but frown since they were incredibly fast despite being two meters long. They were green… but if they were blue, Aion would have called the same as that blue turtle without caring about copyright claims.
