Aion got a few levels while the others were relaxing, it wasn't much, but anything was better than nothing. In any case, they joined him after just forty minutes… he thought that would relax for at least one hour since Seris could just make some runes to heat the bath.
"We owe one, that bath wasn't like any other, and I had in a while," Sauros said.
"You didn't try to take a peek, so my evaluation of you improved a little," Seris added.
"It seems like one doesn't need much to be at the top of your list," Aion furrowed his eyebrows. "Anyway, we need to keep up that pace. If you feel like you are running out of mana, just say it since I have an idea."
"I will be looking forward to your idea," Sauros said.
It felt like it would be better for them if they didn't hear about it and instead received a surprise. Aion couldn't help but frown while imagining how much trust they must have in him.
Regardless, the group began to advance through the labyrinth again, and their speed had Increased a bit since they had an excellent chance to relax in the bath. Still, while he wasn't doing much aside from blocking the enemies' spells, Seris and Sauros wondered how come Aion still could keep running nonstop while he wasn't even sweating or looking exhausted…
In any case, Aion soon confirmed that even on that floor, it might take a while for him to reach level forty… the experience that he was getting wasn't making him level up that fast… after almost eight hours hunting the frozen salamanders, he finally reached level thirty.

"Come to think of it, and the necromancer class only leveled up that fast because my skeletons and death knights were always hunting. Even here, with this level of difficulty, things wouldn't be that fast," Aion thought.
In any case, around that time, Seris and Sauros started to get tired again. So, Aion used the bard class and began to play a song that made them recover their mana faster. The only problem with that was that they had to advance while walking to relax the muscles of their legs… still, at least Aion made that class level up and also refined the weapon quite a bit.
"I feel like the classes unlocked after maxing this one will be fun… but I need to keep my focus," Aion thought.
After using the bard class for one hour, they began to run again… but they had to stop after two hours since Seris and Sauros were reaching their mental limit. Just recovering stamina and mana wasn't enough, and one needed to rest their mind as well…
"It seems that the monsters will keep coming as long as we stay here so that I will watch things around," Aion said. "Rest properly, and don't be a burden tomorrow."
Those were some harsh words that neither of them could refute. Seris was quite pissed thanks to it… they had runes on their equipment that let them recover energy faster, but even so… they reached their limits. Meanwhile, Aion looked like he could keep going for one week nonstop if he had to.
"What a stamina freak…" Seris said when she watched Aion moving away to face the monsters.
"I am starting to feel like we are slowing him down here… what a dreadful feeling, to be a dead weight for someone that is half my age…" Sauros said and then sighed.
While Seris and Sauros were setting the camp, Aion made his spear fly with wind magic toward the next frozen Salamanders that appeared. The level of his magic with that class was high enough for him to block the attacks and make sure that the enemies couldn't outrun the weapon.
After he recovered the spear, Aion began to talk about how he could complete Force Release… he had been doing that for quite a while. Still, even though he didn't reach any answer until now, he felt that soon he would have the idea that he needed…
Unlike a core filled with mana and his stamina, Aion couldn't make a core made of blood, and it wasn't like blood alone would heal wounds… so he needed a better alternative.
"It doesn't matter how much I think, the only solution for this problem is for me to be able to cast something like Heal, but the activation will only take place once I get hurt… a spell with delayed effect…" Aion thought.
Aion felt that it wouldn't be the same way as having a core that could be burned its energy to increase his strength… but at least it was a start. After thinking for several hours without obtaining any result, he decided to ask if Seris knew anything about that kind of effect.
"Runes that can be activated once the user suffers damage? Of course, they can be made," Seris replied.
"How do they work?" Aion asked.
"Well, they are also made to recognize when your body suffers damage, so…" Seris said.
"I mean, how do they store energy to heal once the damage is suffered?" Aion asked.
"The usual way. The runes store enough mana to do that," Seris replied. "They are a bit complicated to create since they have many effects, but they are useful. The only problem is that you can't add more than one of those in the same equipment without risking problems."
