Aion tried to control all of them and kill the enemy, but it didn't work… it seemed that they were using their power to repel the ice spears. Aion was confident that sooner or later, he would pull that off, but he didn't have all day… so he created a large Fireball and shot it. The ice spears began to melt, and then a drenched enemy showed.
"It is your turn now," Aion said, looking at those two.
Sauros and Seris nodded, but Aion didn't just wait for them. He combined wind and ice magic to surround the enemy with a cold breeze. They tried to repel that from all angles. Still, eventually, the electrical bullets hit them and killed them after a few shots.

"Another enemy with a forgotten power… she certainly knew a lot of unusual people," Sauros said. "Still, it is surprising that you have a hard time-fighting mages."
Aion wanted to say something snarky, but Sauros had a point. Besides, most mages are annoyingly resourceful, and despite the fact that they are pretty weak physically, they know a lot of magic to increase their survivability. Aion never had to worry about that kind of thing since he could change his class in the blink of an eye, so he could turn from a glass cannon, to the toughest tank that couldn't be moved from anything. It was convenient, but he was paying the price in a weird way now.
"In any case, the enemy of this floor was… a mage that can use Telepathy," Sauros said while he was writing down something.
"Do you seriously believe that we won't reach the top?" Aion asked. "If that is the case, you all are probably going to die after me."
"No, I don't think that we will fail, but this information might come in handy in the future," Sauros explained.
Aion sighed… that guy never learns. In any case, the group decided to rest for a while longer since just one hour had passed since they resumed their journey.
"It seems that you two talked a bit while I was sleeping. That is good," Sauros said. "Nothing good comes out of ignoring such issues."
"You are starting to nag a lot like Father," Seris said while frowning. "I already knew that you were going to be a preachy old man, but it seems that you will be worse than I imagined."
"When you become old enough like me, you start to worry more about those younger than you, helping them not to experience the same failures that I did," Sauros said. "So, it can't be helped."
"You are only two years older than me," Seris said while facepalming.
"I have more life experience as well since you work too much on your atelier," Sauros said.
Usually, while listening to that two talking, Aion would feel a bit angry since they were relaxing. At the same time, he was training, but in the end, he could only recall his siblings. He improved his relationship with them, but he felt like he could do more in the future. All of them should have gotten married by now, and he only went to a single party… it would be a waste if either of them held a grudge over that.
"Maybe I should bring some souvenirs for them… food probably won't work, and I never saw them eating monster meat," Aion thought. "Aside from that, there are the magic stones and the loot of the pirates… giving stolen goods as gifts is a bit…"
Aion was starting to get too relaxed as well, so he couldn't help but sigh. In any case, Aion put his head in the game when they began to climb the tower, and until the 49th floor, they didn't face many problems, but once again, they felt like something was soon going to change.
"I guess this can't be a coincidence since we are all feeling the same uneasiness," Sauros said. "Just to be sure, I will write my rune on your armor."
That would consume a lot of his mana, but Aion just had to do his job, and then things would be fine. Once they reached the 50th floor, the group noticed that the ceiling was a lot taller than usual… that couldn't be a good sign.
Eventually, everyone's guess was confirmed when a giant monster appeared on the floor… It resembled quite a bit the guardian of the ice labyrinth, but that one had dark and red fur. The beast had in its body some stripes that were red and looked to be burning like lava… Aion didn't have many good memories when it came to fire monsters.
The monster began to run, and Aion charged after throwing his spear. The beast didn't have time to dodge, but it had time to raise its paws to block the direct hit.
The beast groaned in pain when the weapon pierced the flesh of one of its paws up to the midway point, but then when Aion got close enough, it made a fire tornado appear right around him. The heat Instantly made Aion sweat bullets, but then he created four ice walls around him.
Aion heard the sound of the electric bullets being fired… Aion sighed. They should have known that they had to charge their shots first. In any case, Aion moved the walls in the opposite flow of the tornado, and then eventually, it lost power. However, in the next moment, the beast charged toward Aion.
After changing his class to Monk, Aion used Sonic Punch and then hit the nose of the beast and stopped its charge. Aion used that second to change his class back to Lancer, and then he used Triple Sonic Thrust.
Although Aion aimed at one of the eyes of the creature, the beast turned its head to the side and backward and dodged the attacks. Still, some blood that quickly evaporated gushed from the wound…
