"I guess that will be fine… can you check if anything ever happened to the other creatures?" Aion asked. "When you talked about the creatures that I could tame, you were talking about others like Fenhair, right?"
"Yes, there is the Earth Titan that guards the North, the Frozen Tyrant that guards the East, and the Wind Maiden that guards the South," Arlana replied. "I need some time to check them… and if you are talking about three thousand years of history."
"Ah, forget it. I guess this was unreasonable to ask," Aion rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Let's head East… I am curious about this frozen Tyrant. Maybe I should ask Fenhair to stay around and guard the area since we are messing with time. We need to be more careful than ever."
"You don't need to worry about me, Aion," Artemisia said and then sighed. "I have plenty of mana orbs, and I am making some every day. I will be able to protect the town and myself if something happens."
Aion could tell that his mother had a lot of these. Her presence looked way stronger than before since the orbs were created with her mana… still, it was Aion's nature to be careful when his mother was part of the equation. If he didn't have to level up the Tamer class, he would leave a death knight nearby… then Aion finally realized what he had to do, and then he smirked.
"All right, until later, mom," Aion smiled, and then he left the house.
"You looked particularly suspicious back there like you suddenly had an epiphany," Seris said. "What are you plotting?"
"Just covering my bases and making sure that I will be able to do as much as possible," Aion replied and then created an Earth Platform.
After everyone jumped in, Aion made it fly, and once he was high enough, he summoned the draconic wanderer to pull the platform. Strength and speed were his forte, after all. At the same time, Aion summoned Kala. The assassin woman could become invisible, and he told her to guard his mother while invisible at all times.
"That presence…" Seris furrowed her eyebrows when she recognized Kala, even under the cloak that Aion gave her. "You can even do that… if you were an asshole, you could go around killing powerful warriors, and that eventually would make you invincible."
"There is no such thing as invincibility for mortals," Aion shook his head when the draconic wanderer began to pull the platform. "Everyone has weaknesses."
Seris couldn't help but be stunned… she already knew that Aion wasn't the type who would let power get to his head. Still, now that she could take a glimpse of his true potential, she could tell that he was a lot more coolheaded than she had imagined. She thought that he could make a great ruler… it was a pity that most people wouldn't accept that, thanks to his bloodline, even if they came to realize what she just did.
A few hours later, the group reached the dungeon of the Earthworms, and Aion also summoned Ugren, the archer, to kill all of them.
"Can you keep those three working at all times?" Seris asked. "I thought that Necromancy would constantly drain your mana."ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom
"You are well informed…" Aion furrowed his eyebrows.

"Well, you are right, they need my mana, but this much is fine," Aion said, and then he closed the earth platform and created something like a room and also opened a hole to the draconic wanderer's back. "Write a flying rune on him whenever necessary. I will focus on recovering my mana."
"All right… we are heading in the same direction to my home. Can we stop there for a moment?" Seris asked.
"I guess so, but you don't want to keep that location hidden from me?" Aion asked. "I am sure that while the big guns aren't monitoring me yet, the Middle tier bosses are."
"I don't really understand what you are saying, but after talking with Arlana, I realized that there are numerous ways for people to find us," Seris explained. "They probably know where we live already but don't have the means to attack us yet."
After that, Seris finished the rune, and then the draconic wanderer began to push the room at supersonic speeds. Aion had expected that, but Seris and Arlana didn't, so he had to hold their hands to avoid them rolling on the floor and then hitting the wall behind them.
"I guess this transport method needs to be improved… moving at Mach 3 is pretty convenient, though," Aion smiled in satisfaction.
Despite that, the room was shaking quite a bit, so Seris used a rune to make things get more stable inside. While Aion was focused on recovering his mana, he still noticed that Arlana was weirdly silent. He wanted to ask if she was uncomfortable using time magic, but he decided to stay quiet about it.
Seris had to use her magic and a special ship to cross the distance between her hometown and the Zaera kingdom. Even so, it took three weeks for her to arrive there. Thanks to that, she was left speechless when the temperature began to drop after just ten hours of travel… that was the first sign that she was getting close to home.
Seris asked Aion to slow down and then create a window in order to let her check where they were, and soon she told him to go North. Aion saw a coast that was white with some snow and some icebergs floating close to the beach.
"This world is really weird, are the poles messed up or something?" Aion furrowed his eyebrows.
Aion soon forgot about what happened when he suddenly saw a weird phenomenon ahead… a weak pillar of light was in the middle of the ocean, and way above the clouds, Aion could see something like a city flying.
