Aion's heart swelled with a mix of emotions – joy, relief, and a touch of apprehension. It had been a while since he had last seen them, and the battles and trials they had endured had taken them down separate paths.
Aion quickly used Teleport and appeared right in front of them. They took several steps backward, thanks to the surprise, but soon they recognized Aion. Sauros and his parents were in front of the group. Jorei and Helen looked as surprised as they could be and worried as well since Seris location remained unknown.
"Woah… I should have known that only you would try to fight these things by yourself," Sauros said. "You disappeared and reappeared out of nowhere as well."
"I went to your base with the others, but we didn't find them there, and we searched for you all day yesterday as well," Aion said and then took a deep breath. "I am sorry… I was caught off guard, and they captured almost everyone."
"For you to say sorry… I have a lot of things to say about everything, but we don't have time for that," Sauros said after taking a deep breath as well. "Did you find your brothers? They are the only ones fighting the enemies aside from us and those two giant spirits as well."
Fenhair suddenly appeared while floating above the island, and they didn't try to look Aion in the eye. It couldn't be helped since they hid that from him, even though he imagined something like that.
"Do you guys remember me, right?" Aion asked. "From the time with Malon, Cailena, and the others. That was why you agreed to help me that easily… you decided to take some time only to gain more power or to establish in your new forms."
"That is right," Celion replied. "We realized that you that found us first and the you that we felt the presences before were different beings as well, and we have no choice but to act as such because we can't interfere with the flow of time by ourselves."
"Thanks to that, I didn't try hard enough to find the other two," Aion shrugged.
Celion and Fenhair couldn't deny that their allies had been sealed and couldn't awake to help them any more, thanks to Vangel's actions. Actually, they explained something far worse…
Vangel's exceptional manipulation of energy and magical currents allowed him to create a powerful barrier that served as a containment field. This barrier acted as a prison, confining the spirits within a specific space or object, ensuring their obedience, and preventing their escape.
In addition to his mastery of magic, Vangel possessed a keen insight into the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of the spirits. He likely discovered their true names through meticulous study and observation, which held significant power over them. By invoking their true names with precise intonation and intent, Vangel gained further control over the spirits, limiting their actions and suppressing their inherent abilities.
"I guess he knew that you guys would pose a problem considering how Vaeral caused so much trouble to him as well," Aion said. "Ah, I should bring my brothers to hear this as well. By the way, can we head to the enemy base while I explain that? Vangel is gathering the fragments of someone very troublesome, and with his knowledge of the future, he will become even more troublesome."I think you should take a look at
"We can't use the cannons infinitely, and we can't risk hitting the prisoners, so we will use the island to get rid of the big enemies," Sauros declared when Aion called his brothers.
After explaining everything to his brothers and everyone around, Aion saw the city of his ancestors in the distance. In the end, the only secret left that he had was the fact that he was a reincarnated person.
"Sons of a bitch… they turned the capital of my ancestors into a flying fortress, too," Aion muttered while clicking his tongue in annoyance.
High above the vast ocean, there exists a remarkable sight—an ancient floating city. It defies gravity, hovering in the air, surrounded by massive walls that encircle its entirety. The city appears as though it emerged from a long-forgotten era, a testament to the incredible skills of those who built it.
The walls that encompass the city are colossal, stretching outwards like a protective shield. They are weathered and aged, revealing the passage of time and the stories they hold within their stones. Carved with intricate patterns and symbols, they bear witness to the history and resilience of the city's inhabitants.
The city itself is a sight to behold, a breathtaking display of architectural marvels. Towering spires, majestic domes, and grand structures reach toward the sky, each one a masterpiece of craftsmanship. Delicate details adorn the facades, showcasing the artistry of its creators.
"... Vangel must have obtained the secret in the past somehow or in the future," Sauros said. "At this point in time, he must be the other being that Arlana mentioned that gave up on his humanity in the future."
That made sense… Aion didn't even have time to consider that. Alongside Arlana, he was supposed to know more than anyone else about the future events and Aion's powers.
Suddenly, two enormous spiritual beings appear, soaring through the air around the ancient castle. One takes the form of a majestic winged creature made entirely of swirling winds. Its massive wingspan creates a powerful breeze that rustles leaves and stirs the air. The evolved wind spirit moves with a graceful elegance, gliding effortlessly through the sky.
The other spiritual being manifests as a colossal creature crafted from solid earth and vegetation. It resembles a mighty beast adorned with moss-covered rocks and lush greenery. The evolved earth spirit emanates strength and stability as it traverses the airspace, its steps causing the ground to vibrate and sprout vibrant flowers and plants.
Together, these awe-inspiring beings embody the forces of wind and earth in their purest form. They circle the castle, their presence exuding a sense of ancient wisdom and raw power. The wind spirit's movements create gentle gusts and whispers carried on the breeze. In contrast, the earth spirit's touch revitalizes the surrounding soil, encouraging growth and nourishment.
