Chapter 426 Against Family

"I will take care of them, lead the battle while I am away," Aion declared and then made everyone in his pocket dimension leave.

Lexus charged toward Aion, swinging his sword way faster than he was supposed to. Aion barely had time to send his father to his pocket dimension. While he succeeded in that, his sisters attacked him. One made the ground grab his legs, and that prevented him from using Teleportation.

Before Aion could crack the ground with his strength and free himself, the others summoned some fire pillars and engulfed him in flames.

The flames began to burn his flesh, but Aion endured that and used Spatial Shifting again, making his sisters get close to the vortex to make them stop the fire… they didn't. Even though they began to suffer damage, that disrupted her focus.

"Son of a bitch… your death won't be a quick one, Vangel," Aion clenched his teeth.

Aion used Spatial Shifting again and made his sisters spear in the sky and then fall to a portal to his pocket dimension. Thanks to that, the fire vortexes ended.

"Aion… can you save them?" Henri asked.

"... I will see what I can do," Aion replied and then vanished.

Aion didn't promise anything, which was quite unsettling considering that he had managed to completely restore his sisters before. He wasn't confident this time, and that was more than a bit nerve-wracking. Still, they had other business ahead of them; the four brothers saw thousands of mutated humans flying toward the flying city.

Henri, wearing his battle-worn armor, steps forward, his commanding presence catching everyone's attention. He speaks with a firm voice that reaches the tired soldiers gathered before him.

With a determined look in his eyes, Henri acknowledges the exhaustion and struggles they have endured. He reminds them of why they fight—their families, their homes, and the future they seek to protect. His words resonate deep within each soldier, reigniting their resolve.

Henri recognizes the sacrifices made by their comrades, honoring their bravery and dedication. He shares stories of their past triumphs, reminding them of the strength they possess when they stand together. His words inspire a sense of unity and camaraderie.

He speaks of the enemy's cruelty and the suffering inflicted upon innocent lives. Anger and determination fill the air as Henri paints a vivid picture of the injustices they must confront. He fuels their desire for justice, urging them to channel their emotions into unwavering determination.

"It is time to end Vangel's reign of terror on me, MEN!"

"HOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

As soon as he returned to the pocket dimension, Aion was almost split in half by his father's sword. He reacted fast enough to use Teleportation and appear right before his oldest sister, Maisie. However, as if all of them could easily feel his presence, they turned around. They attacked Aion with a torrent of Fireballs.I think you should take a look at

"The parasites increased their magic powers and mana exponentially…" Aion furrowed his eyebrows.

Aion's senses heightened as he faced his brainwashed sisters and father, who now wielded their weapons against him. He evaded the barrage of fiery projectiles hurled toward him with quick reflexes and agile movements.

Dancing with finesse, Aion dodged and weaved through the air, narrowly escaping the deadly arcs of the fireballs. Each step was deliberate, as he relied on his instincts to anticipate the trajectories of the incoming attacks.

As his brainwashed father closed in, his sword slashing through the air, Aion demonstrated incredible agility, effortlessly sidestepping their strikes. His movements were fluid, a well-choreographed dance of evasion and defense.

Aion's heart sank as he saw the parasites visibly bulging in the veins of his brainwashed sisters and father. It sent a shiver down his spine and filled him with a deep sense of dread.

The once familiar veins now appeared distorted and swollen, as if something vile and sinister had taken root within. Aion couldn't help but feel a mix of concern, sadness, and disgust at the sight before him.

The pulsating presence of the parasites was repulsive. They wriggled and twisted, creating unsettling movements beneath the surface of their veins. It was a haunting reminder of the control exerted over his loved ones, a cruel reminder of the darkness that had consumed them.

"Don't let rage consume you… find a solution to this first," Aion thought while dodging the attacks.

Aion's healing skills didn't help him before saving the people of that other country, but he had time now. The flow in the pocket dimension was one hundred and fifty times faster than outside, people were dying outside, but his family was more important…

"Analyse the Priest class and then check if the next ones can help me," Aion thought.

While focusing on dodging, Aion analyzed that class, one skill after each other. His focus was so intense that he didn't let any attack reach him… even when his sisters used lightning bolts, and his father used Inner Release. Still, soon Aion saw blood coming from their noses and ears.

"Shit… the parasites are forcing them to fight beyond their limits; I don't have time!" Aion bit his lips in exasperation. "Sorry, but there is no other choice…"

As Aion confronted his brainwashed father and sisters, a deep resolve surged within him. He harnessed the power of wind and water, using them to cool down the scorching atmosphere in the pocket dimension. The blistering heat slowly subsided as a gentle breeze brought relief to Aion's weary body.

With focused intent, Aion directed his elemental magic toward his family members. Streams of water flowed around them, instantly freezing upon contact. Gradually, their bodies became encased in shimmering ice, immobilizing their once-violent movements.

Aion felt a mix of sadness and determination as he witnessed the frozen figures before him. He understood that their true selves were trapped beneath the icy exterior, controlled by insidious parasites. It was a temporary measure, a respite in his quest to break the hold of the parasites and restore their consciousness.
