Chapter 91: It’s Too Expensive, He’s Afraid He Can’t Pay The Bill

Yu Gangan’s uncle looked deep into Fang Zhihan’s eyes.
People often said that people with low IQ were generally good-looking, and good-looking people weren’t likely to have a high IQ. From the looks of it, this was true.
So, his smile towards Fang Zhihan turned even more friendly, “Come, don’t hold back, have some food and drink some wine.”
He tipped two glasses of wine and handed one to Fang Zhihan.
Fang Zhihan picked up the glass and placed it back on the Lazy Susan without any emotion on his face.
He then placed one arm on the back of Yu Gangan’s chair and said with an air of class, “I only drink red wine when I eat seafood.”
The old aunt and He Wanxin looked at each other and rolled their eyes with ridicule.
If Yu Gangan’s uncle hadn’t given them a warning, they would have laughed out loud. Why was he acting cool by talking about drinking red wine?
Yu Gangan placed her hand on her forehead. Fang Zhihan must have figured that this table of food was a ticking time bomb, so everything he was doing was deliberate. But, Yu Gangan couldn’t figure out what exactly he was doing.
Compared to him, her IQ still felt a little lacking.
After all, he had the brains and the looks.
At that moment, a waitress walked in and handed the drinks and food menu to Fang Zhihan.
Yu Gangan turned and looked at Fang Zhihan. Her gaze contained a sense of warning, confusion, and query.
But, Fang Zhihan didn’t seem to notice as he asked, “What would you like to eat? This restaurant has freshly air-freighted black truffle, would you like one serving?”
His voice was deep, thick and charming.
Yu Gangan opened her eyes wide without a sound.
She really didn’t know what to say. After all, her uncle was an old calculative fox. If Fang Zhihan made one wrong move, then she would be forced to pay for the bill.
Just the thought of it made her liver hurt.
But, Fang Zhihan remained oblivious to her worries and anxiety as he ordered a serving of black truffle.
Next to them, He Wanxin immediately called out, “I’ll have one too.”
The black truffle was from France; it was crazy expensive. Since Yu Gangan was paying the bill, it would be a waste not to have some.
The waitress smiled and immediately recorded the order. She then asked Fang Zhihan what red wine he wanted.
Fang Zhihan’s eyes twitched a little as he closed the menu. He then said to the waitress, “Mouton.”
The waitress froze in surprise. She originally wanted to say something, but Fang Zhihan squinted his eyes. His shocking and majestic presence was so cold and powerful that she immediately nodded her head and turned to leave.
After the waitress left the room, she immediately ran to look for her manager. Her face was red as she said frantically, “Manager, Manager...a client just ordered a bottle of Chateau Mouton Rothschild, should we serve it?”
The manager’s eyes lit up like he had struck gold, “Yes, of course. Hurry, take good care of that room and make sure they return home happy. They are our VIP’s.”
“Yes yes yes,” the waitress replied cheerily, her smile almost stretching from ear-to-ear.
She then went to grab the wine as quickly as possible and took it into the room. Before she opened it, she asked Fang Zhihan, “Dear customer, this is the Mouton that you ordered. Should I open it now?”
Fang Zhihan nodded his head.
The old uncle focused his gaze on the wine bottle.
He thought back on the drinks menu and remembered that the selection was quite comprehensive. After all, this was the most expensive seafood restaurant in the city and the wines ranged from a few hundred thousand to a few million yuan.
The most expensive wines were all imported from overseas, but he didn’t remember seeing any ‘Mouton’.
The label on the wine was messy and extravagant; from the looks of it, it didn’t look expensive.
Moreover, the name sounded so old and lame like a cheap domestic beer. So, the old uncle assumed the price range was only a few hundred yuan.
From the looks of it, Fang Zhihan didn’t refuse his Dong Wine because he didn’t like drinking it. He didn’t drink it because it was too expensive and he knew he couldn’t pay the bill if he drank too much.
