Even the room had peach blossoms placed all over. Although they didn’t know how they managed to find fresh peach blossoms on such hot summer days, they had to admit that this shop radiated the words “nouveau rich” throughout every inch of it!



No matter which aspect it was, in Zhou Min’s eyes, this was all glistening with RMB!



When the door was opened once more, a series of serving staff continuously flowed in. As for Ruan Ru, her eyes were already long glued to the delicate plates of sashimi placed on the table, forgetting that she was sitting across a living breathing person…



“It looks great in the picture, but only when it has been actually placed on the table do you realize the incredible knife technique and carving skills. It has really made the food into an art piece! This is really something else…” Ruan Ru’s eyeballs were about to fall onto the plate. Zhou Min could not help but chuckle, only to see that Ruan Ru had already taken the initiative to pick up the chopsticks and began to eat, not taking notice of anyone else.



“Miss, the last assorted tempura platter has been brought up. As for the desserts at the end, we will serve it up to you again in 25 minutes!” The waiter said politely.



Zhou Min saw that Ruan Ru’s cheeks had been stuffed until they bulged and couldn’t really speak. She couldn’t help but raise her head as she nodded to the waiter.



Zhou Min originally intended to move her sight away from the serving staff once they exited, but as they were preparing to close the door, she saw another serving staff slowly open the door to the room directly across theirs from the corner of her eyes.



The decoration on the second floor was a wooden corridor that was less than one meter wide and only had enough room for two people to pass. Private booths lined both the left and right sides. In the gap of time where their door was slowly being closed and the door of the room across was being slowly opened, she saw a figure sitting alone at the main spot amongst the prim and proper group of sitting people. That lazily sitting silhouette was rather familiar!



Zhou Min couldn’t help frowning and tilted her head, taking a few more glances as the room’s door was about to close. However, because the man was leaning against the wall hidden in a dimly lit corner, with his arms crossed across his chest, in addition to how there were too many people in the room, and with the serving staff blocking the figure from time to time as they entered, Zhou Min was always unable to get a clear view. Nevertheless, that lazy nonchalant posture exuded an imposing aura of elegance all over. Even though it was but a simple action, it was done where it pleased one’s eyes and heart.



And such a figure, you could tell at a glance, that this imposing manner was not something ordinary. It stands to reason that according to Jiang Min’s nerdy and homebody nature that didn’t like going outside, she shouldn’t know such a person. But she still felt that this person was a little familiar. Sometimes, you know! Too much curiosity can really shorten your life…



Zhou Min couldn’t help but leaned half of her body out, swaying her head left and right as she tried to get a clear look between the gaps of waiters that entered. Who was this person?



After the serving staff had finished bringing up all the dishes, they immediately exited one by one non-stop. As the last person retreated, they slowly closed the door shut. It was also at this time that both of Zhou Min’s eyes were focused on that man. Perhaps he noticed that someone was looking at himself, that outstanding figure suddenly raised his head. That half-seated body straightened upright, slowly appearing from the dark corner of the light, revealing a clear distinct face that looked like it was carved by a sharp axe.



Scattered bangs blocked his forehead in disarray, without the slightest trace of sloppiness. Instead, it seemed to be a bit more casual. Never having worn glasses before, it led this person’s usual unattainable air to soften into a more gentle and elegant manner on the occasional chance that he did wear it. Under the thin, tightly pursed lips was a chin that seemed as though it was honed. This was a gentle and elegant man with a refined temperament and a gentlemanly appearance.



Some people’s temperaments were enough to overcome everything, even if no words were used to highlight them! Under the emphasis of the bright lights, this led Zhou Min’s, who originally already felt some familiarity when he was in the dark corner, puzzled gaze to involuntarily become even more attracted by that young man. Because, he really was too familiar! Really, where has she seen him before…



The man also directed his gaze straight at Zhou Min. There was a moment of surprise but his eyes promptly became unfathomably deep. His mouth could not help but hook up into a perfect and well mannered smile but this caused Zhou Min’s complexion to drastically change. The hand that propped her up from the wooden floor immediately softened. The moment the door of her private booth was closed, black lines had already covered her forehead as she laid on the floor! Suddenly there was a kind of depressed feeling of wanting to cry and laugh.



The metallic chopsticks also fell following Zhou Min’s movements. The crisp sound caused Ruan Ru, who was immersed in the food, to snap back only to see Zhou Min lying on the ground, “Xiao Min¹, what are you doing? Are there flowers on the ground that make you want to scrutinize it that interestedly?”



¹TN: Xiao (name) is sort of like a nickname of sorts in Chinese.



Ruan Ru supported herself with both of her hands on the table as she leaned half her body over to look at the Zhou Min who was pretending to be dead, lying on the ground. However, even after a long while, she didn’t see any reaction from Zhou Min.



Ruan Ru continuously called out several times in puzzlement but still didn’t see any reaction from her. Concern couldn’t help but creep onto her face as she got up and walked to her side, reaching out her hand to support the person up, “Xiao Min, what’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”



As soon as she said this, Ruan Ru lowered her head, and saw Zhou Min’s expression that looked like she wished to poke both her eyes blind along with a look that she wanted time to stand still. This caused her to become even more confused.



While Ruan Ru was puzzled by Zhou Min’s inexplicable expression, the man in the other private booth couldn’t help but be amused by Zhou Min’s last awkward wishing to die expression!



Originally he had felt irritable and impatient because he found that he was being stared at by someone. Then, seeing the sudden appearance of the person that he had thought about for the whole week, the corner of his mouth revealed a playful smile. The man reached out his hand to stop the waiter from closing the door. Both his eyes stared straight at the closed private booth on the opposite side. He looked straight at the closed box on the opposite side and couldn’t help but think back to Zhou Min’s expression in the end. Inadvertently, the man stood up and strode out.



“Today’s meeting ends here, you all return back to your own respective duties. I hope that I won’t see the same thing happen the next time. You’re all very clear that I, never have a use for trash!” It was obviously a clear and elegant tone, but it made people feel as though they were encased in the ice cold snow, shuddering!



“Yes, Doctor²!” Everyone simultaneously stood up together. He clearly was a fierce viper in the business world but he liked others to call him ’Doctor’. He clearly held control over the economic lifeline for the majority of Europe and America, including here, but he didn’t like being called Boss!

Strange preferences caused everyone to be puzzled, but they didn’t dare to voice it out. Because, despite how he clearly only looked to be the age of a university student, only they knew how fierce and resolute the methods of the young man in front of them were. Abnormal and extreme!



The man nodded and was very satisfied with the obedience from this group behind him, “After you finish eating, leave!” After he got his desired answer and finished instructing them, the man left the private booth and automatically closed the door.
