BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!

The sound of sirens and blaring horns woke up the entire neighborhood.

Many people peeked through their windows to watch the unfolding drama.

At the side of the road, a man stood down leaning against the car window giving the details of the incidents to the cops.

"You are really something...You have some unusual luck to get bundled with these shits, don't you?"

"Risabh, it's already hurting so don't throw more knives on my poor heart."

Evan muttered, casting a bitter smile while cursing his bad luck.

Just then a middle aged man in an officer's suit appeared and ordered.

"Risabh, call the control room and ask for more cops to navigate the security camera and see if there are more involved."

"Yes Sir!"Risbah nodded and left, giving the officer some space who patted Evans' shoulders.

"Evan, now what should I even say?"

"Uncle Max, just tell me about that person. He isn't a thief as he fought as if trying to kill me. Secondly, he was a noob" Evan asked, folding his hands.

Max shook his head and spoke.

"Evan, that guy seems to be a hardcore crazy fan of Suri Barett...."

The moment Evan heard this, his expression faltered.

"What did you say? He..... He is a psycho fan of that woman?"

"Yes!"Max confirmed again, giving the details he got from the guy.

He was a crazy maniac and loved Suri Barrett a bit too much. After knowing about the incident, he had been tracking him but it wasn't anything substantial until he managed to show some viral reels about Evan from Blue Lagoon restaurant workers, and through them, he reached here.

"Fuck!"Evan cursed hitting the roof of the car.

"Just why?"

This was absurd.

If one fan can do this doesn't that mean there are more coming for his life after all big celebrities have millions of followers so it wouldn't be odd if a thousand or hundred psychopaths get mixed in the group.

And frustratingly, the woman wasn't much at fault there.

'I wished he went for those two bastards and killed them. In that case, I would even give him a gift.'

Evan couldn't help but curse his luck.

"It would almost take 2 weeks to earn from the cafe...To earn a quick sum now, I can either gamble in a casino, put some in the stock market, or find the vulnerabilities..."

There was another option which was developing the app.

Sighing Evan pulled out his laptop, connected the portable data cable to his smartphone, and searched for stock marketing books.

He decided to keep the computer study at bay for now.

After a few searches, he finally downloaded a few notable ones. The Intelligent Investor" by Benjamin Graham, "A Random Walk Down Wall Street" by Burton G. Malkiel, and "One Up On Wall Street" by Peter Lynch.

"Now let's begin. Instead of wasting time worrying, it's better to grasp everything I can."

He was so engrossed in reading that by the time he snapped from his thoughts, it was already 10 AM.

His eyes had become bloodshot from studying too much on the laptop.

He was only awakened by the unbearable hunger growling in his stomach.

However, ignoring it, he looked at the bar.

Intermediate Stock Marketing [12/250]

With a smile, he opened his account.

Taking deep breaths, Evan went over the stocks.

He didn't take the risk of gambling in the Future & Options and just took a few stocks ranging from 100-200 and put a total sum of three hundred thousand.

With this, his bank balance had also started declining.

But he didn't mind it as to gain wealth a person needs to know where to spend wealth.

With this, he also set up a time limit of a week to gather money to move to a suitable place. It was still difficult.

However, it was still vulnerable as sociopaths may attack at any time. Though the chances were less, he still couldn't afford to take a risk.

So, Evan took some suitable clothes and decided to stay in the hotel that charged 1500 for a day.
