The man hesitated and stared down at his own shoes. "Sir, we haven't heard any news about his demise."

Amit's face twisted into a scowl, his fists clenched in anger. "Damn! These idiots and bastards. Can't they get even a thing done properly? All of them are useless."

His anger was palpable as he took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. With a dismissive wave of his hand, he ordered the man to leave. "Get out. I need to handle this myself."

As the man hurried out, Amit's eyes narrowed. He reached for his phone, quickly dialing the number of his most trusted informant. The line rang twice before it was answered.

"This is Amit Sharma," he snapped into the receiver. "I need to know Evan's current status immediately. No more excuses. Is he alive or dead?"

A tense silence followed, and Amit's grip on the phone tightened as his patience began to wear thin.

Back at Black Mamba's makeshift hideout, the chaos had barely settled. Victor, Roman's right-hand man, a burly guy with a wrap around his neck, picked up the ringing phone.

Still catching his breath from the earlier skirmish, Victor answered the call with a gruff tone. "Victor speaking."

Amit's voice crackled through, laced with frustration.

"I don't care who you are. What happened to Roman? Is the job done?"

Victor hesitated a bit and looked around before replying, "Boss is currently unavailable due to an important mission. Evan managed to evade us and caused us quite a bit of damage. We're still assessing the situation."

Amit's voice grew sharper. "What do you mean Roman is unavailable? I need to know if the mission was completed. What the hell is going on there?"

Victor's voice remained steady despite the tension. "Evan is under constant surveillance. He's surrounded by guards around the clock. We've been making sure not to alert him while observing everything. At this point, breaking through the security is proving to be harder than we anticipated."

Amit's frustration boiled over. "Damn it! Why can't you people do anything right? This was supposed to be a straightforward operation! How did it all go so wrong?"

Victor maintained his composure. "It's not as simple as it sounds. Evan is highly protected, and any attempt to abduct him without causing a scene could compromise our entire operation."

"You don't want this matter to be highlighted in the news and media, do you? It has been a long time since a big business was killed so his death might upset many people if it happens in broad daylight."

Now, their heart and mind, both only had thoughts of serving Evan.

Victor and Roman sat in a room contemplating their life choices.

The only sound there was the faint hum of an air conditioner. Victor stood with his arms crossed, facing Roman, who was seated, still wrapped in bandages but visibly tense.

Victor's voice was firm but steady. "Roman, you understand the gravity of our situation, don't you?"

Victor leaned forward, his eyes locked onto Roman's. "Our loyalty to the Master must be absolute. It's not just about following orders anymore. It's about understanding and embracing his vision, even if it's difficult."

Roman growled, his voice low but filled with resolve. "I was ready to follow any order before, but now, I see it clearly. Master's plans and his authority are not to be questioned. We've experienced his power firsthand. Betraying him is not an option."

Victor nodded, a trace of approval in his gaze. "Good. Any deviation from this loyalty, any act of disobedience, will be met with severe consequences. We are bound to him, not just by duty, but by respect for what he has achieved and what he stands for."

Roman straightened, his voice filled with fierce determination. "I pledge my unwavering loyalty to Master. Nothing will change that."

"I forgot to tell you, Master has given us new orders. We must get rid of all the scums and thugs in BBSR and take control of the underground. We only have one month for all this to happen..." Victor relayed the order, his gaze sharpened.

Roman's face stiffened a bit and he murmured, "One month is a bit of a hassle but with Master backing us, we might manage to pull this off."

"I am ready to walk through fire and hell for Master..." Victor declared with a solemn expression.

Roman's eyes met Victor's, steely with resolve. "For Master. Always."

Victor nodded, his approval evident. "For Master, indeed. Let's make sure that every move we make reflects that loyalty."

Roman's eyes flared with intensity. "Whatever we do, it must be with his interests in mind. We can't afford to make another mistake."

Victor nodded in agreement, his tone grim. "We need to regroup and figure out our plan for the next steps.

Little did Evan know, his brainwashing had given rise to a group of mad fanatics followers that had now started worshiping him.

In fact, he had only asked Aurora to change their mindset, but Aurora seemed to have mischievously brainwashed their loyalty into something far deeper, to think Evan as their sole Master...A being who holds a position similar to that of a God.
