"I know who's behind this!"
A voice rang out, steady but urgent, drawing the attention of everyone around. The room fell silent, all eyes on the person. "And I'm damn sure of it. It's none other than Evan."
Gasps filled the room, disbelief washing over the crowd as they looked at Amit Sharma.
"Evan? That save guy?" someone exclaimed. "But how? Why would he do this?"
Amit leaned forward, his eyes burning with conviction. "Think about it. He's been in the shadows, watching our every move. This was his chance to disrupt the system and seize control. He has the resources, the connections, and the motivation to bring us down."
The murmurs intensified, a mix of fear and anger. "If Amit is right, we need to act fast," another voice urged.
"We can't let him undermine us like this."
Everyone then turned to Rajesh Patel.
"Why don't we sue him with tax evasion cases and bring him down through legal schemes?" one of them suggested.
Rajesh sighed upon hearing this.
"You all have been enjoying your time, blind to what has been going on."
"The man whom you are considering small has already become Indra's 7th largest taxpayer and stands as the key behind all the technological reforms in the country. His sudden appearance had boosted us a lot and some of his companies directly or indirectly generated works for hundreds of thousands, especially Brew Heaven which made the tea you are sipping even right now."
PFTTT!
The moment they heard this, several of them spat the tea in their mouths and looked at it in horror.
Amit wanted to curse at their reactions but he held himself back and shouted, "Each one of you is an idiot. Instead of wasting time and devouring money, if you had at least worked a few hours a day, our party wouldn't have decimated to this margin."
"Idiots...Each one is a stupid idiot..."
"Amit!"
Everything had transpired according to his plan. Although he didn't get the profit he had aimed for, Evan had succeeded in sniping down the Rajputs and all others involved in widespread scams.
Even though the party had won the election, there wasn't a trace of joy on the faces of its politicians. They celebrated and enjoyed their hearts that had been bleeding with restlessness.
All they could do was reassure themselves that the lost money was just a small fraction of their fortunes and that they could still recover by taking in more money.
With corruption being rampant, as long as they held the seat, the money gains would outweigh their losses.
Nonetheless, the net trail of loss was enough to make them cry and vomit blood. Still, Evan knew that this wasn't the end, rather it was just the beginning.
The beginning of the brutal war that would soon consume everything. The conflict would soon escalate and might transform to a global scale.
Evan's focus wasn't political but on the ones who were pulling strings behind the scenes. He didn't have any personal grudge against them and if possible there wasn't any need for having a conflict with them if they had done things humanely. But instead, they act like soulless demons destroying people's lives by sucking the hardworking people of their money.
For instance, Rajput's plan would have caused immense disruption and even might have made people go bankrupt, destroying their lives and forcing them to die. And while he had taken a somewhat similar approach, Evan had toned down the repercussions by a significant degree. Also, he had never planned to hoard massive amounts of money either.
Aurora had collected data regarding everyone. Those companies that worked with a good, human approach and didn't rely on scams. All the money he had earned would be pumped into them.
As for those who drained the lives of employees and disrupted their lives, all Evan had for them was a giant middle finger.
However, these people won't just take it while lying down quietly. Although Evan wasn't sure how brutally they would attack, that didn't mean he hadn't prepared anything.
He hadn't been simply lying and basking in the cozy warmth.
Each day in the outside world equaled 30 days inside the Digital Realm. During those days, the advancements in technology, and scientific warfare had reached unprecedented heights.
In the pharmaceutical sector, Evan's team has made groundbreaking strides. They had developed vaccines that were capable of neutralizing the nuclear material of HIV, effectively destroying the virus before it could wreak havoc. This was a massive leap forward in the fight against a disease that had plagued humanity for decades.
In addition to HIV, the researchers had also developed innovative vaccines and vectors to target cancer cells. These treatments were designed to help the body recognize and eliminate tumors more efficiently. This offered renewed hope for countless patients fighting cancer.
Additionally, the team also introduced advanced skincare products that utilized new technologies to promote healing and rejuvenation, ensuring that people not only survived but would also thrive in their everyday lives.
While he was thinking of all this, Evan asked Aurora to show him a list of their achievements.
[As you wish, Sir.]
