*FLASHBACK*
By the side of a lake, and under a shimmering Ginko tree, there were two graves. With the exception of these two graves, the acres of land are covered in green grass. Not many people come to this side of the land as they prefer the other side of the land which was now a beautiful park.
Although the land where the graves were located was deserted, it still was very well maintained. It seemed someone was still working on keeping the area well maintained.
People say that two persons who are buried in two graves were lovers. They united after great hardship only to die an early death. Although they died earlier than the average age, they lived to their heart's content. They found the love for which they sacrificed their lives and took their love with them to the other side of the world.
A middle aged man dressed in a black long coat and hat, followed by three of his bodyguards, stood in front of one of the graves. He stared at the name embedded on the grave for several minutes, and as he bent down to place the flowers, he whispered, "Happy birthday brother."
Just as he was about to place the flowers on the grave, a kick came out of nowhere and the flowers that he had bought for his brother, flew in the air and then dropped into the lake.
His bodyguards alerted and attacked the person who had kicked the flowers before they could be placed on the grave, but only to be defeated at the hands of the frail-looking person. When the three guards fell on the ground unconscious, more shadow guards emerged but he held up his hand to stop them as the person who attacked his bodyguards with great efficiency and skill, removed the cap covering her head.
He had never seen a young woman so competent, who was able to defeat his well-trained soldiers. However, be believed that there was a first for everything.
"Long Shaoming! You have no right to be here. Go back to your world before I kill you for murdering your own brother!" The young woman said hate in her eyes was naked.
Long Shaoming couldn't understand why this young lady thought that he had killed his own brother. Anyone who knew him was familiar with the kind of relations those three brothers had with each other.
"I didn't kill him and as his younger brother, I have every right to pay respect to my elder brother on his birthday!"Long Shaoming made the young woman understand his point but only if she was here to believe his half-lies. She was smarter than he gave her the credit for.
The girl snickered as if she had heard a joke, "Where were you for the last two decades?"
"I didn't know where my brother was buried until recently," Long Shaoming replied. He looked at the woman standing in front of him as if examining her. "Who are you, young lady?"
The girl laughed so hard that Long Shaoming felt a shiver down his spine. He had never heard a laugh as lethal as hers. He could see mocking and disgust obvious in her eyes. If it was someone else, he would have slashed their throat for a mere reason of looking at him with disdain. But he didn't get angry with this young woman and he didn't know why.
When the girl stopped laughing, her face turned serious in a second. "Should I introduce myself with how I'm introduced or should I introduce myself with how I should be introduced?"
"You're one confusing lady but interesting nonetheless," Long Shaoming said with a sigh. "Nevertheless, I would like you to introduce yourself however you like."
She bored her eyes into his and said," I'm introduced as Alcina Zhang. But I should be introduced as Long Alcina."
Long froze and looked at her as if he had seen a ghost. He felt as if he had stopped breathing due to the intensity of the shock.
Seeing Long Shaoming guilty expression, Alcina chuckled again.
"You're Long Ah Shan's…"
"Daughter," Alcina completed his sentence with another lethal smile.
"How's this possible?"Long Shaoming said to himself. His brother had a daughter and he had no idea about it?
Hell, he didn't even know about his brother's grave until a few days ago. He had begged his mother to tell him where Long Ah-Shaan was buried. After more than twenty years, she had told him the truth with a painful grimace. Her expression had shown that day that she still blamed all of them as accomplices in Long Ah-Shaan's death.
Her brother's funeral was organized by Tang Reine many years ago. From the Long Family, only the old lady had attended along with Long Jie. No one knew that she went to attend Long Ah-Shaan's funeral that day. To tell the truth, even if anyone else had known about it no one had gone and probably no one had allowed the old lady to attend the funeral either.
"It seemed like you were not taught how women conceive in high school," Alcina said with a mocking smirk. "Or you didn't pay attention to the lesson. And how would you? When you were busy lusting after your elder brother's fiancè."
"Alcina, you can't talk like that," Long Shaoming tried to reprimand Alcina softly. " I'm still your uncle."
"Are you?" She raised her perfect brows. "Last I remember, my father died alone without any of you by his side. In my arms, he took his last breath. Do you know what his last words were?" She crossed her arms and said, " Oh, you don't deserve to hear them. Long Shaoming, I have never dreamed about anything in my life. I accepted every challenge life threw at me because I never had any ambition in my life except one and neither did I ever wish about anything except that one. Do you know what it is?" Seeing that Long Shaoming was waiting for her answer, she told," I prayed to God that if He exists let me be the witness of all your deaths. You, your father, and Song Lily. I want to see you dying the worst kind of death." Alcina laughed pointing towards the sky and continued, " And look at Him, he heard. You are dying every day and I would be damned if I lied that I didn't enjoy it."
