Realizing her left foot was on Xia Tian’s right foot, Huo Lajiao quickly moved her foot away. However, she swiftly came to grasp that she came forward for his sake, but not only did he not appreciate the gesture, he claimed that she had stomped on his foot.

“Xia Tian, I’m helping you out here you know!” Huo Lajiao was known for her fiery temper that was easily set ablaze.

“You’ve misunderstood,” Xia Tian tried explaining, attempting to save himself the trouble.

“Huo Lajiao, this is your territory. Who would have thought that you, the lady boss of Jianghai High School, would be unable to take care of her underling in class,” Xu Shaocong stood up. “Lil Ya, I best be heading off or I’ll be holding Sister Huo up from dealing with her household matter.”

“Xu Shaocong, I will finish you off after I’m done here.” Huo Lajiao glared at Xu Shaocong before turning to Xia Tian. “They’re right, it’s pointless to bury yourself in books. What’s the use of being good in your studies anyhow? You don’t speak up for yourself when you’re bullied, and you’d even speak to me that way despite me sticking out for you.”

“You have bad breath.” Xia Tian frowned and refused to look at Huo Lajiao. He could tell that Huo Lajiao had had stinky tofu earlier.

“You… You’re pissing me off. Do you think I’m not going to hit you?” Huo Lajiao gritted her teeth. Although she had been in the same class as Xia Tian for three years, she never spoke to him prior to this.

She stood up for Xia Tian today, but she never thought he would answer like that, even going so far as telling her she had bad breath.

“Sister Huo, let me teach this guy a lesson for you.” A hot young chick behind Huo Lajiao rolled up her sleeve before striking Xia Tian.

Huo Lajiao’s two sidekicks might have dressed up in an unconventional manner, but they were not to be trifled with. Although they placed second and third from the last place in their studies, they would not lose a fight against several men together.

“Wait,” Huo Lajiao darted a glance at Xia Tian. “let’s go, someone else will take care of him.”

Xia Tian shook his head. He knew full well what Huo Lajiao was pointing at. Xu Shaocong was out to get him and had his scruples with Huo Lajiao around. Now that Huo Lajiao was out of the picture, Xu Shaocong was not going to let him off the hook.

“Alright, it’s time for your lesson. We’ll be doing mock trials today.” The class teacher walked into class and bumped into Huo Lajiao along with her gang on their way out. The teacher kept mum, however, already having been accustomed to the situation.

“You two, return to your seats to take the exam or my number one spot will be taken,” Huo Lajiao proudly said. She was number one in class, counting backwards that is. She took pride in attaining the number one spot from the back at each examination while her two underlings placed second and third from last.

“Yes, Sister Huo.” The two hot chicks returned to their class but they randomly answered two questions before departing.

Going through the test paper, the paths appeared in Xia Tian’s mind. The answer then emerged in his head. He knew he was familiar with these questions, yet he was able to answer them instantaneously. His mind reacted faster than he would have if he had bothered applying any calculations.

He answered all the questions in around thirty minutes and looked through it twice before handing it over.

“Xia Tian, have you checked your work? Why are you turning it in so early?” The class teacher frowned. Surely completing the test this quick meant Xia Tian did not answer it well. “Did you have a good rest? Don’t forget to review your studies. The NCEE is just around the corner, we have high hopes for you.”

“Teacher, I’ve completed the test. Can I try other subjects?” Xia Tian wanted to give the rest of the subjects a go to see if it would come to the same effect.

“You’re done? Wait, let me see.” The class teacher grabbed Xia Tian’s test paper and skimmed through it. Noticing there were neither questions left unanswered nor signs of foul play, he handed Xia Tian another test.

Just as Xia Tian predicted, the same thing appeared in his mind. Without giving it much thought, he raised his pen and swiftly completed all the other tests.

Xia Tian was out of his school after finishing his papers because his teachers marked his papers and found all his answers to be correct after the class teacher handed over. It was impossible that he cheated, seeing how he managed to complete everything in that short an amount of time.

As he walked out of the building, Xia Tian was greeted by a familiar face. It was Xu Shaocong. There were another four men behind him. Hefty and beefy-looking, these people were not be messed with.

“Sister Huo, we’re not going over to help?” Huo Lajiao and her two underlings watched the event unfold from afar.

“Don’t bother with him. It’s high time that arrogant prick learnt his lesson. We’ll head over once he suffers a little,” Huo Lajiao coldly blurted.

“Xia Tian, I heard you never touched Wenya. Such a shame, it’s such an experience.” Xu Shaocong stared into Xia Tian’s eyes.

“She has nothing to do with me. You can do whatever you please, there’s no need for you to tell me.” Xia Tian smiled. He had gotten over it. The love-stricken Xia Tian died in that car accident. The current Xia Tian would no longer wear his heart on his sleeve for Wenya.

“Although you’re not worthy to vie women with me plus you already lost, I really hate knowing that there’s someone pining for my toy.” Xu Shaocong curled his lip, signing the four boys to dart at Xia Tian.

It was mock trials in school but that did not stop students from watching the fun.

These people were smart to stay away as most of them had heard of Xu Shaocong. He was a famous figure in Jianghai High School; no one dared to cross paths with him.

These four boys were tyrants of their individual classes with countless subordinates under them yet they were docile in the presence of Xu Shaocong. After all, Xu Shaocong’s family had powerful connections.

Xia Tian did not want to cause any trouble but he was not one to back down. He may not have the physique he had had in the past, but he never flinched. Even though he could not defeat those who bullied him, he put up a fight each time.

The change that came with his body and vision allowed him to face these guys fearlessly.

An obese fatty threw a punch at Xia Tian, prompting Xia Tian to recall the move Old Fan pulled on him in the park. He pulled his right hand back and stomped with his left foot on his opponent’s limb, throwing fatty to the side.

He was hurled five meters away before crashing onto the ground. With his body mass heavier than the rest and on a concrete floor at it, it was quite a fall.

“Hei’zi! Motherf*cker, how dare you hit our brother.” Unshaken by Xia Tian, the other three kicked toward their opponent.

Witnessing the incoming joint attack, Xia Tian closed in and swept under the trio with his right leg before smashing his knuckle onto their chests. It all happened before they knew what was coming.

This turn of events left Huo Lajiao and her gang flabbergasted.

“Sister Huo, are my eyes playing tricks on me? That model student can really fight.”

“Hei’zi and the other three are known to be malicious but he ended them all rather quickly.”

“Maybe he’s a master in the legends. I’ve always fancied myself to be a heroine. If I learn his martial arts, I’ll be able to realize my dream.” Huo Lajiao fantasized about the coming of her martial arts chivalry. “You two, come along.”

“So cool. He doesn’t hold back on Xu Shaocong’s men. Who is he?”

“I’ve seen him before. He’s a model student in school.”

“Impossible. A fighting model student? And a good fighter at it.”

The crowd was bustling with opinions. Xu Shaocong was a prominent personality in Jianghai High School. His four subordinates were coined the Four Guardian Warriors while he was the boss of them all.

Today, these four were defeated by him alone.

“Wha-what are you doing?” Xu Shaocong lost his cool. He had never met with a situation like this. The Four Guardian Warriors were ruthless in their ways yet were easily tackled by Xia Tian.

He had pried into Xia Tian’s life. He was only a regular poor student with no connections. Where did a poor student learn to hit like that?

“What am I doing?” Xia Tian smiled and treaded past Xu Shaocong. “Keep an eye on your bowel movements when you get home.”

“Bowel movements? Xia Tian, what game are you playing? I’m warning you, I’m not someone you can toy with. Don’t let me see you the next time or I won’t go easy on you.” Xu Shaocong suddenly remembered his familial backing. His earlier fluster was merely a temporary shock that came with Xia Tian’s conduct. He was no longer afraid of Xia Tian. No one would dare cross him in Jianghai High School, apart from Huo Lajiao.

“Idiot!” Xia Tian walked off without turning back.

“Xia Tian, wait for me.” Huo Lajiao hurriedly ran up but Xia Tian did not halt his footsteps.

“Did you hear me? Stop right there.” Huo Lajiao hovered over Xia Tian with a death grip.

“You don’t even wear underwear.” Xia Tian’s Insight saw through Huo Lajiao’s garments and he found that Huo Lajiao was only wearing a camisole inside.

“Ah, rascal!” Huo Lajiao shouted.
