Paul’s POV*

Seeing Isabella’s back chasing the carriage, Paul rushed to the kidnappers who were suffering while vomiting blood. If they were cursed to keep their moths shut, they should have information that will be useful. Paul, who decided that he didn’t want them to die here, took off the curse-resistant bracelet that he had just incase and put it on the men’s arms. Since the curse had already been activated, he doesn’t know how much effect can be expected, but as long as he can buy time, a friend who can break the curse should show up.

After Paul moved the men to the edge of the back alley, Ursch showed up with three women who hid their eyes with transparent cloth.

Paul bowed his head to Ursch when he appeared.

“I’m sorry, young master. I let Isabella-ojousama go.”

“Ah~, it’s okay because it’s in the expected range.”

Paul shook his head at Ursch’s words. If the suspicious person approaching this time was a sorcerer or a kidnapper related to the viscount, it was a good plan to let them get away under the guise of a careless sting investigation. Paul didn’t know why Isabella chased the kidnappers.

“. . . Young master Ursch. You told Isabella-ojousama about this strategy, didn’t you?”

“I didn’t tell her. Isabella was ready to be kidnapped. Even though it was for the investigation, I was against Isabella being kidnapped, so it’s still better to chase after them openly.”

If that’s the case, Paul thought it would be nice if he didn’t allow the decoy investigation from the beginning, but he sighed without saying anything.

“It would be dangerous to chase them.”

“It’s better to have her go on a rampage than to be quiet in a locked carriage with kidnappers. Can it be a diversion? Besides, if the danger of Isabella is known to the people around her, wouldn’t it help reduce the number of idiots who try to approach her? Right?”

When he says that, Ursch signals to the three women behind him and points to the men suffering on the ground. The women crouched silently beside the men and looked at them. Looking sideways at them, Paul asks Ursch a question.

“Can’t you keep and eye on that?”

“For the time being, Isabella is a relative of the royal family, and above all, she is the daughter of the overpowered Rottenstein family, so I think it’s hard to approach her. So, if anything, Isabella’s fiancé, me, or Schneiver & Co., will be more noticeable than Isabella herself.”

When he says that, Ursch smiled eerily. Yeah, the idiots who keep an eye on Ursch and the company are over. Paul looks away.

“Well, the curse didn’t do much to their bodies due to Paul’s wit, so it looks like it was taken care of earlier than expected. I think other support will come soon, so carry them.”

Before Paul knew it, Ursch pointed to the men who were quiet from fainting at the feet of the silent women and gave instructions to Paul then started to walk. The three women silently followed behind him.

“Take care, Young Master Ursch.”

Ursch replies to Paul’s words without looking back.

“Yes. I’ll be careful~”

Isabella’s POV*

“Damn it!! This little girl!! Get off of there!!”

I took steps on the meandering carriage to avoid the whip wielded by the military police from the platform. Hahaha, compared to the power and speed of Ursch-kun’s whip, such an attack is nothing!!

Well, but I still cant believe that they found out I’m on the carriage from the reactions of the people around us. I should have disappeared by blocking their sight or imitating Chris-sama’s optical camouflage. I was so focused on chasing that I didn’t think that far. When someone see a child sticking to the roof of a carriage, people around you will scream.

It can’t be helped, I was actually going to have them show me their hideout, but let’s capture them here. As long as I take them home, Ursch-kun will definitely make them talk and get information out.

While I was avoiding the whip being used on the rushing carriage, he swings it with a slap while avoiding the four corners of the roof of the carriage. Horse-drawn carriages are quite soft. If you hit it with your fist, the carriage may shatter into pieces, so he hits it gently so as not to break it too much.

Finally, I jumped up and used an iron elbow on the roof of the carriage. The military policemen froze in astonishment when I fell into the carriage with the shattered roof.

While the military police were absentminded, I kicked down the door of the carriage from the inside, and grabbed the chest of the military policeman sitting in the seat closest to me and threw him off the speeding carriage. He was slammed into the stone pavement and didn’t move. Maybe the shoulder bones and some ribs were crushed.

A military policeman who came back to himself quickly his sword and swung it down at me. Even though the roof is gone, it’s still bad to wield a sword in a small carriage. I used my small child’s body to lightly avoid the sword being swung down. The avoided sword was difficult to swing, and the military policeman could not move for a moment, so I kicked him to the back seat. When I confirmed that he fainted with a sound like a crushed frog, I jumped to the platform with a kick, jumping and somersaulting on the floor of the carriage. Huh? Where is the military policeman who was attacking me with a whip from the platform just now?

When I looked at the horse, the military policeman was riding it while trying to cut off the harness connecting the horse and the carriage. It’s hard to catch him at the moment, so I’ll wait until the cutting is over. As soon as it was cut, the parts of the carriage that were connected to the harness slammed into the pavement and were crushed, stopping the carriage.

The military policeman was running away on the back of the horse that was cut loose from the carriage. I smiled at him when he looked back with a smug face, and turned my palms to the ground.

Until now, I’ve been able to manage just by using power techniques, so I just didn’t have a chance to use magic, and it’s not like I didn’t study it, right? Moreover, I have a cheat skill called [Jealousy] and a wonderful teacher called Ursch-kun, who is versatile, so I understand most of the attribute magic.

That’s why you should eat it.

Isabella’s original tracking type, bombing, attack magic, ‘Underground Thunder’.

An explosion occurred in the ground, and while blowing up the cobblestone pavement from below and winding up the soil, ‘Underground Thunder’ chases the military policeman who is escaping on a horse. It caught up to the racing horse in no time, and both the horse and the military policeman flew high into the air and disappeared. The horse and military policeman that flew forward slammed into the pavement.

As expected, I don’t forget the details and apply reinforcement magic and shields to the horse just before crashing into the ground, and add strengthening magic to the extent that the military policeman will not die.

As planned, the horse is intact. The military policeman fainted, which is a wonderful result for me.

HOWEVER,MORE THAT 500 METERS OF STONES ARE SHATTERED! Moreover, the sun is setting and visibility is bad due to dirt and smoke. It takes more time to fix it than to break it, so I really don’t want to use magic much.

My magic, the power is too strong, and even if it’s just a fireball, a crater with a diameter of about 500 meters will be made. . .

For the time being, before the real military police and guards who heard the commotion came, I put on ‘Visibility Clear Goggles’ to repair the stone pavement and rolled up my sleeves.

After the stone pavement repair was over, Paul-san rushed to the place where the three military police were detained.

“I’m sorry, Paul-san. I was noticed on the way, so I couldn’t get to the hideout.”

“No!! Huh?! It’s okay!! More than that, listen to me, Isabella-chan!! Something terrible happened!!”

Paul-san, who looks to be in a hurry, kneels down, grabs both my shoulders and stares straight into my eyes.

“The church where the victims were protected was attacked by someone!! We are currently confirming missing people!! Young master Ursch is waiting for you, so please follow me!!”

Isabella really needs to learn to control her magic power. And it looks like Ursch fully expected Isabella to run off on her own, but she will probably end up getting in trouble for it anyway. She did say she wouldn’t after all. And how did Paul get there so fast?!

I hope you enjoyed this chapter and thank you for reading!
