Chapter 14: Breaking Out

“Hmm? Little Kitty, are you hungry?” Kyle noticed that the little cat had woken up at some point of time.

Kate passed a look at Kyle.

She’s just sad, okay?

*growled*

Kate: “...”

Hearing her stomach growl, Kate had to admit that having the body of a small kitten was indeed exceptionally annoying. She would feel hungry very quickly, yet she couldn’t eat that much to make sure that would continue to keep full for a long period of time.

Kate felt miserable.

At this time, Kyle had no time to care for Kate’s mood and just fetch the milk bottle to help the little kitten eat.

Looking at the baby bottle, Kate sighed ever so deeply inside her mind and obediently drink the milk. She felt that being treated like a baby again after she had grown up would definitely the most shameful experience in her entire life.

But she also couldn’t say that she didn’t want to drink the milk.

Her body is more honest.

She’s really hungry.

Lucy looked at the cat and then at Professor Kyle. As she had expected before, the image was too strong in contrast!

She took a deep breath.

“I’ll text her that I’m going first then.” Lucy took out her phone and sent a message. She looked at the sea of students below and silently climbed the wall before jumping out.

Kate nearly choked on her milk when she saw that.

She moved her head to watch outside and saw Lucy was already jumping around, running towards the gate along with the other students who were rushing out. Her movements were so fast that other students wouldn’t be able to catch her.

Aside from that one anomaly.

“She’s gone. It’s time for us to leave too.” Kyle saw that Kate had stopped drinking the milk and put the bottle away.

“Meow.”

“What is it?” Kyle looked at Kate.

Kate looked at Kyle’s indifferent eyes and then silently tucked her head back into the pocket. For some reason, she didn’t want to see him in the slightest bit or she would feel afraid.

And thinking about living with this person for the next few days, Kate felt somewhat miserable.

Anyway, she’s just a cat.

A normal cat.

A cat who didn’t know anything.

While Kate was busy hypnotizing herself, Kyle had already walked down the stairs along with the next group of students. He didn’t look that conspicuous as there were also other professors.

Not to mention, Kyle really look like a student because of his young age.

When they reached the bottom, Kate noticed that Kyle was walking towards the parking lot and then entered one of the cars.

“Meow.”

When they entered the car, Kate hopped down towards the passenger seat. She looked around curiously.

This is the first time she entered Professor Kyle’s car.

And the car’s interior did look good.

“Don’t play around.” Kyle looked at the small cat roaming around the seat and then looked outside. He started the car and begun to drive the car out of the compound, bypassing the other students and also the rats.

Some other students also took their cars and left.

While the students who couldn’t drive could only ran out of the campus.

At this moment, he passed by that particularly eye catching student, Lotus. Lotus was surrounded by a few boys who listened to her order as they killed the rat systematically.

Their movements looked as if they had practiced for countless times.

It was very seamless.

Kyle narrowed his eyes but he didn’t bother any longer.

The world is changing.

And in this changing world, human’s true nature would come out easier than before. At that time, it would be clear that some of them could possibly be 180 degrees different than what they used to show outside.
