Kyle was originally planning on returning directly. But a call from his father made him have to abort this plan and come directly to his father’s office.

“What is it?” Kyle asked when he saw his father.

“The White Family will come here.” General Ryan glanced at Kyle. “Tell me, how did your group attract the White Family?”

“White Family?” Kyle blinked his eyes. “I don’t think our Martin Family have any relationship with the White Family, right?”

Kate glanced at Kyle, silently thinking about his surname instead of this matter. She only knew that his surname started with M but the students usually call him Professor Kyle instead of Professor Martin for some reason.

She forgot why thought.

General Ryan felt like vomiting blood when he heard his son’s question. “That’s why I’m asking you what did you do to attract the White Family! They’re a big business family and plan to come here to establish a cooperative relationship.”

Kyle rolled his eyes. “If it’s business matter, why does it need to be connected to me? You can just ask Dylan and his Ice Group to handle this matter if you think that you can’t handle it well.”

“I also don’t want to call you if not for their request to have Black Group to be the one who came forward as representative.”

“Huh?” Kyle looked at his father suspiciously. “Black Group can only be categorized as mercenary group at best. When did we get involved in business?”

As the team leader, Kyle naturally knew best that their group was mostly involved in mission that was related to killing in the past. But because of Kate being a reverse healing and those annoying higher ups fighting, they decided to tone down a bit.

Anyway, they also needed to stabilize their rank after advancing a bit too fast.

No one knew the real limit of their abilities. Though, their guess was rank 10 because rank 7 alone was already wielding power capable of destroying an entire city.

Rank 8 to rank 9... might even be enough to destroy an entire country.

The only trouble was that Professor Kinsley kept on banging his door, asking for Kate to spend more time in the Research Institute with her parents.

Now that everyone basically knew that Kate Kinsley is a reverse healer, Professor Kinsley’s status had elevated. A lot of people were trying their best to connect with him and the military was hell bent on protecting him.

Thus, there will definitely some friction between Kate’s Father and Kyle almost every single day.

The next day, the group had no other choice but to gather together again because of this sudden mission.

Kate was staying with her parents last night, which made Kyle a bit annoyed. But Kate’s Father’s excellent excuse was that the two of them were not married yet, so it was not suitable for them to stay together all the time.

In the end, Kyle could only return empty handed.

Of course, he came to the Research Institute very early in the morning to take his girlfriend with him.

“It’s only 6 AM, Kyle.” Kate’s Father looked at the young man in front of him with black face. Even if he used to wake up earlier, he didn’t want to be disturbed by this annoying young man, okay?

One of the reasons to make a separate dormitory was for the sake of safety and confidentiality.
