Chapter 331: Last Mission

Name:The Villain's Little Cat Author:

Kate was looking at the photos that General Ryan was showing. She had to admit that she was somewhat interested in the so called source.

"What are they going to use the source for?"

"Study it." General Ryan shrugged. "Anyway, the source is not an inexhaustible material and they wanted to keep it away to prevent another red rain."

If there were to be another red rain, while the humanities would benefit, it would also affect countless giant mutated animals. The battle between humans and these giant mutated animals would be fiercer.

It was one thing for them to have more resource and another thing to keep danger near their own lives.

For the sake of their future lives, it would be better for them to kill these giant mutated animals and eliminated the source to prevent more disasters coming. As for their own resources, they already had other facilities such as the breeding base and the plants research development.

This way, they could make use of this disaster to create more things beneficial for humanity in the future.

Though, Kyle didn’t care that much.

He only cared for those that could affect his life directly.

Kyle looked at the picture thoughtfully and then at Kate. "Do you want to go?"

"Yeah." Kate nodded. "Do you want to?"

"I do." Kyle looked at the picture and contemplated for a while. "But this time, you’re going to follow me all the time, got it?"

"Yes." Kate smiled.

General Ryan watched the two of them and looked at the sky outside. He silently wondered why these two didn’t bother picking a better place to sprinkle their love to each other. He was already old enough and didn’t have any interest to be given more dog food, ok?

Ever since his wife died many years ago, General Ryan didn’t want to be given dog food. Even if it was given by his son, he refused it vehemently.

"If changed to male researcher, he refused to cooperate." Lucy gnashed her teeth, itching to beat him up again.

Half of the reason why she practiced martial arts were to beat up her brother and the other half was to beat up those who bullied him. Her weak brother couldn’t stand learning martial arts and it was her ’duty’ to protect him.

It was god that her parents were not patriarchal or Lucy might blow up under the pressure.

Kate’s lips twitched. "It’s good he didn’t awaken any abilities that could make him invisible."

If he awakened the illusion type that was more like a shadow... Kate had the feeling that there will be a group of women who would be going towards Lucas while carrying a machete on their hand.

"Forget him." Lucy tossed the report to her bag and would not care about it anymore. She would just give it to her parents and let them handle Lucas. That man is already an adult, but she still had to keep watch on him all the time.

If not because they were picking different universities back then, Lucy was sure that she would have to keep watch on her brother for 24 hours a day under her parents’ request.

"There’s no improvement?"

"There’s already the ability suppressant tool that was given to him. He wouldn’t be able to use his ability and the biggest drawback is that he couldn’t even train his ability." Lucy shrugged. "The researchers are still researching just how effective those things could be when given on him."

Many things were still experimental. They also wanted to test these new tools equipment effect for the future use.

"He’s not complaining?"

"After being allowed to keep those pictures, he’s as docile as a lamb." Lucy snorted when she thought of the stack of pictures that Lucas kept inside her room. However, what she hated the most was that the other people would be looking at her strangely whenever she finished visiting her brother.

For this reason, she never closed that damn door when she came here.

That way, they could see that she was beating up her brother occasionally when she received these damned reports.

"Anyway, there’s a new mission. You coming?"
