Chapter 52

Song Luosheng: "What are you guys doing...?"

As Song Luosheng entered, he saw his sister Song Luokui dressed in a lolita outfit, sitting properly on the sofa, holding a teacup and drinking tea. When she looked at him with those eyes, he felt his heart melt - his sister was just so beautiful and cute.

Song Luosheng walked over and poked her face: "Why are you all dressed up so prettily today? Are you Princess Kuikui today?"

Song Luokui pushed his hand away: "Going to Lou Sasa's for afternoon tea in a bit."

Song Luosheng: "I'll drop you off later. Isn't Lou Longwang there?" Lou Longwang was Lou Sasa's brother. Now that his little sister had grown up, he was worried that some of the boys in their circle might have improper thoughts seeing her looking like this. His little cabbage had grown up, and as a parent, he was afraid the pigs might dig her up.

Song Luokui blinked her big eyes: "I don't know."

The makeup artist became stiff after Song Luosheng returned, her task complete. "Miss Song, I'll head back then."

Song Luokui: "Mmhmm, thank you for your help today. Auntie Gui, please see her out."

"Alright. This way, Teacher Liang."

"Okay, bye bye."

"Bye bye."

In the afternoon, Song Luosheng took his little princess to the Lou family's place. The Lous lived in a villa, and when Song Luokui arrived, Zhang Xiyue and the others were already there.

Seeing her, they all pounced over.

"Ahhhh, it's my Kuikui, super pretty!"

Weng Jiao went "mmm" and planted a kiss on Song Luokui's face, then hugged her waist. "Princess Kuikui is mine today."

Zhang Xiyue: "I'm hugging Song Luokui's other side, she's mine."

On the side, Song Luosheng: "Ahem!"

Weng Jiao and the others were still chattering, so Song Luosheng cleared his throat louder: "Ahem!"

Finally they heard him and turned around. Upon seeing Song Luosheng, they immediately became well-behaved. "Hello Brother Luosheng."

"Hello Brother Luosheng."

They each grabbed their little dresses and curtsied elegantly, like proper ladies compared to just moments ago.

Song Luosheng: "...I'll head back first, I'll come pick you up later."

"Okay!"

After Song Luosheng left, the group reverted to their lively selves. "Come on, let's go take photos first."

Under the trees, the group happily took photos, drank afternoon tea, and ate little snacks. Meanwhile on the third floor of the nearby villa, a few boys were peeping through binoculars.

Lou Longwang sat to the side. "You guys have been looking for so long? Don't let my sister catch you, or I'll be in big trouble."

The other guys ignored him, fighting over the binoculars. "Let me see, let me see."

"Damn! The Song family sister is really...! Shit, I feel like getting a nosebleed just from her smile."

Pool frowned. "Prioritize protecting our people first, evacuate them if necessary. Seal the mines for now."

"Got it."

"Sir, there's an urgent batch of documents that need your signature."

"Mmm." Pool took the pen and signed document after document for a while.

Not long after, someone else came in to report on a few projects. After some time, Pool finally stopped and picked up his phone to video call someone directly.

Song Luokui was listening to her friends gossip when her phone suddenly vibrated. She took it out and saw it was Pool. She was about to reject the call, but accidentally slid and answered instead. When Pool saw Song Luokui's current appearance, he froze, then asked: "What are you doing?"

Song Luokui panicked and hurriedly hung up.

Pool: ?

The other girls originally chatting turned towards the sound. Song Luokui turned her phone off directly, looking at the others: "What... what happened?"

Zhang Xiyue was the first to lean over. "I heard a man's voice!"

Weng Jiao: "Kuikui, who was that just now?"

Song Luokui laughed it off. "It was my brother, he was asking when I'll be back."

Lou Sasa: "The voice didn't really sound like him though."

Song Luokui: "It was him, probably just phone issues."

Zhang Xiyue: "Then why didn't you reply to him?"

Song Luokui: "I accidentally hung up when my hand slipped. I've messaged him back."

The others reluctantly accepted that reason. Zhang Xiyue stared at her. "Kuikui, you didn't get a boyfriend, did you?"

Song Luokui choked. "Cough cough cough, no! Absolutely not!"

Zhang Xiyue: "Why are you so worked up then?"

Song Luokui: "Really, I don't have one. I'm always playing with you guys, when would I have time for a boyfriend? If I did, I couldn't possibly hide it from you all."

The others thought about it and agreed.

Zhang Xiyue nodded too. "That's true, you're always either at home or at school. There are barely any guys in your class, and you don't participate in activities or attend social gatherings often. You really don't meet many guys."

Lou Sasa: "If I looked like Kuikui, I'd date one handsome guy from high society after another."

Song Luokui: "...But you're quite pretty too, Sasa."

Lou Sasa cupped her face. "But it seems like no one's pursuing me either."

Zhou Yue: "That's probably because your brother won't allow it. Same for Kuikui."

Zhang Xiyue: "You both have brothers too? How come?"

Tu Shanyue: "I don't have one. So I've dated quite a few already."
