Chapter 88: Embracing The Big Demoness
Lu Xun walked along the mountain path on his way back. His exhausted appearance seemed to have been subjected to intense torment, and the soreness emanating from his waist made it difficult for him to stand up straight. He had to lean against the wall after only a few steps. It was dreadful, utterly dreadful! She was really a wild and uncontrollable little demoness!
Upon arriving at the entrance of the mansion, Lu Xun slowly pushed open the large gate. Coincidentally, he spotted the little fox practicing swordplay in the courtyard. Her petite figure was exceptionally agile, and her sword techniques were entirely different from Xuan Yin's style. The former leaned towards agility, while the latter was purely about technique.
Seeing him return, the little fox put away her sword and strolled over to him. She lightly sniffed him, saying nonchalantly, "You had a good time last night!"
"..."
"Be a bit more elegant. Stop talking nonsense," Lu Xun rolled his eyes at the little brat and walked leisurely towards the hall.
Watching his back, the little fox's cherry-like lips pouted high, revealing a hint of displeasure and annoyance. She grabbed her sword and followed him, walking by his side and softly saying, "Lu Xun, I want to eat roasted rabbit. Can you catch a few for me this afternoon?"
"Just roasted rabbit?"
Lu Xun picked up a teapot, filled his cup, took a sip, and then turned to the little fox beside him. He said, "How about this? Since you have such a huge appetite and there's plenty of game in the forest, how about I roast two deer for you?"
"Deer?"
"Deer meat for roasting?"
The little fox's eyes instantly lit up, her face filled with anticipation as she asked eagerly, "Is deer meat tasty?"
"It's okay. Given how quickly you usually eat, you just gulp everything down without really tasting it. Does it matter whether it's good or not to you?" Lu Xun raised his teacup, took a few more sips, and then continued, "Shouldn't quantity be enough for you?"
"Who said I only care about quantity? Taste is important too," the little fox rolled her eyes, huffing with a touch of indignation, "You really don't understand anything!"
Lu Xun shrugged and silently finished the tea in his hand. He refilled his cup again and was about to raise it to his lips when he heard the little fox's chirpy voice.
"Lu Xun."
"If someone has someone they're interested in, do they really have to... um." The little fox tightly bit her lips, her adorable and soft face turning rosy. She lowered her head and muttered, "Is it necessary to give themselves to the other person like sister Xuan Yin did? I mean, physically."
"Well..."
Lu Xun opened his mouth, not sure what to say for a moment. After a brief contemplation, he softly said, "In theory, yes, but in such matters, consent and willingness are crucial. If one party disagrees while the other is eager, it can potentially involve issues."
The little fox still hung her head, her small hands twisting the hem of her skirt. She muttered, "Why would someone do something like that?"
"Um..."
"Why not ask your sister Xuan Yin?" Lu Xun shrank his neck a bit and whispered, "She should have the answers you're looking for."
"I-I don't want to!"
The little fox swiftly hopped off her chair, grabbed her sword, and hurriedly headed toward the backyard. She stopped halfway, turned back to glance at the big villain, and earnestly said, "Lu Xun, my body isn't something you can just casually look at. Since you saw everything that night, you better be aware of the consequences!"
As her words fell, she turned and walked away, leaving Lu Xun sitting there alone.
The path from the hall to the room was short, but the little fox took a long time to walk it. At this moment, her emotions were somewhat chaotic. Ever since that unexpected incident that night, she had developed an indescribable feeling towards someone. According to what Sister Xuan Yin had said, this feeling seemed to be called... liking.
"Having a feeling like this for the first time, and it turns out to be for Sister Xuan Yin's partner." The little fox bit her moist lips, her brows reflecting a mixture of distress and helplessness, mostly a sense of confusion. Reason told her this wasn't right. She was sorry for her Sister Xuan Yin, but her thoughts kept drifting back to him.
"What should I do?"
"Should I ask Master for advice?"
"Huh?"
"What for?" Lu Xun looked at her in confusion.
Immortal Miao Feng, who had started walking toward the courtyard, suddenly stopped in her tracks and turned around. She said, "Practice sword moves together."
"..."
"Practice sword moves? Clearly, you're just finding an excuse to beat me up." Lu Xun backed off and stubbornly replied, "I'm not coming."
"Coming or not?"
Immortal Miao Feng turned her body around and glared at him coldly, saying, "If you don't come, don't expect me to pay any attention to you in the future."
After saying this, she walked toward the courtyard again. The big demoness had a blush on her face, and her cheeks were flushed as if drunk. She was filled with endless embarrassment from what she had just said.
Since the big demoness had spoken, Lu Xun had no choice but to stand up and follow her. They reached the center of the courtyard. He looked at the big demoness, who had a look of "taking advantage of the situation for revenge," and helplessly said, "Lend me a sword."
Immortal Miao Feng waved her hand, and a silvery light appeared in the sky, instantly landing in front of Lu Xun. A sword was stuck into the ground.
"I'll use this twig then, so you can't accuse me of bullying you." Immortal Miao Feng snapped a twig in half, held it lightly in her hand, and said coldly, "Three moves, just like before."
As her words fell, she grasped the twig and thrust it straight at the shameless little thief. The mighty sword energy surged like towering waves, aiming directly for Lu Xun's chest.
Lu Xun managed to dodge, but not completely. His sleeve was cut by the sword energy. Before he could catch his breath, Immortal Miao Feng's second move came. Instead of a thrust, it was a cleaving strike.
"Bang—"
Lu Xun struggled to block this strike, the immense force almost knocking him off his feet.
Sister's so fierce.
With just a twig, she possessed such power.
"Hmph!"
"Blocking like this, aren't you showing a vulnerability?" Immortal Miao rolled her eyes at the little thief and, as she spoke, pierced through his clothes.
"Is that so?"
"Does Sister really think that way?" Lu Xun smiled faintly, then said leisurely, "While my sword technique, cultivation, and realm are all inferior to yours, there's one small secret your little thief knows about you."
The big demoness' face showed confusion. She couldn't help but furrow her brows and said, "I, Immortal Miao Feng, have never had any secrets. You lost if you lost. Don't try to find excuses with me."
"Oh no—"
The big demoness suddenly trembled all over. A sweet exclamation escaped her lips as a hand lightly grazed her side, an inch below her left armpit.
"You! You! You!"
In an instant, Immortal Miao Feng became weak and powerless, her mature and alluring body swaying.
Just at this moment, Lu Xun let go of the sword in his hand and gently pulled the big demoness into his embrace.
One hand around her waist, the other on her hip.
