Kain was hesitant to choose any of them. After all, he may have an idea of what their effect on Bea' evolution would be, but he couldn't know for sure until the evolution was completed.
Thankfully, he had the simulator.
Since the area was enclosed, he decided to briefly head into the Laboratory to see if he could use the GP he recently collected to run some simulations for Bea.
However, while several new evolutionary materials were added after their travelling during the missions, such as the yellow-grade Pterix Spiritual Power Orb, none of the mental-attribute materials he was currently looking at were in the System.
Kain realized that he must see an object in person before he could have it added to the Simulator.
Therefore, with hope Kain went to the only employee currently in the Exchange Hall.
"Is there any chance that I could see some of the evolutionary materials in person?"
"Why?" The worker looked at Kain puzzledly. This wasn't an unheard of request, but it was usually only used for weapons so that the student could feel the weapon in their hands before making the purchase. After all, a description on the screen will only tell you so much.
If the weapon's weight ends up being too much or the grip is uncomfortable, then it'd actually be detrimental to their combat strength.
Evolutionary materials though had no such concerns. Pretty much all the information one would need would be in the description, and nothing more would be determined by seeing it in person.
"W-Well I need to see them because…" Suddenly Kain was reminded of Eve's reaction to that seed, "I am a Planner major and I had heard that in rare cases spiritual creatures will be instinctively drawn to materials extremely beneficial to them. On the off chance that my contract has a reaction to one and I pick something else because I thought it was better, I'd regret it."
"You do know that such instances are extremely rare?" The worker replied. Collecting multiple materials from the back just for an experiment, although not hard, was an annoyance for someone not paid a lot. seaʀᴄh thё novёlF~ire.net website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.
Kain also guessed the likely reason for his reluctance, "I'd greatly appreciate it. For your great service, I'd also be willing to tip you 10…no 15 credits!" Kain internally cried at having to spend even more credits.
The worker was finally moved to action. 15 credits were more than he could obtain from a Bronze rank mission, and he'd receive them just for collecting 7 materials from a back room, no danger involved.
Soon 7 materials were placed in front of him. As he expected, Bea did not have an intense feeling of hunger, but he had gotten what he wanted. Now all materials should be available in the simulator.
"Unfortunately, there is no draw to any of them. Thank you for your service" The worker wasn't surprised by Kain's lack of success, but why should he dissuade a fool willing to pay him just to test it out?
Kain then went back behind a privacy screen to re-enter the Laboratory.
This was only his second time using it, but his knowledge since the first time had already grown greatly.
After this trip, he had obtained 570 GP. Adding to the 180 GP he already had, he now had 750 GP. Just enough to test each of the 7 materials once.
'Although I will be completely penniless after doing so.'
Kain selected the Brain-Eating Amoeba as his subject of Simulation.
This time he made sure to select a Spiritual Power orb, and a catalyst that had been shown to the students in one of his Planner courses.
Now it was time for the truly important part, what would serve as the blueprint for the final evolutionary form, the Base Material.
The Psionic Crystal and Neural Fiber had very similar descriptions, so he just wanted to test the more appealing of the two, rather than try both.
He chose the crystal due to its description of the original spiritual creature it came from having both telepathic abilities and increased intelligence. Instead of the intelligence boost only provided by the fiber.
After confirming his selection, a white light of evolution began to fill the glass chamber. Although Bea wasn't visible to the naked eye, the light of evolution certainly was.
In less than a minute the light faded to reveal a potential evolutionary form for Bea. Similar to Bea, Kain couldn't physically see an changes in the microscopic creature, and was forced to look at the System description. Now the previous blue portrait of Bea in the system, had a purple tinge similar to the crystal used.
Kain looked at the description:
----------------------------------
Species: Psyche Guardian Amoeba
The Psyche Guardian is a never before seen evolution of the Brain-eating amoeba. Evolving from its previous form, this species is characterized by an extraordinary enhancement of mental faculties and telepathic prowess. It prefers to stay in environments rich in psychic energy.
Those infected experience a profound increase in intelligence, allowing them to solve complex problems and strategize with precision. It also is able to telepathically communicate detailed information with all of its progeny.
Quality: Silver
Type: Microorganism (Amoeba)
Attribute: Mental
Skills:
A-Multiple Consciousnesses-The true body can produce many replicates of itself that can invade multiple targets and lay dormant in their brains for prolonged periods of time to extract collect for the true body.
A-Telepathic Mastery: This skill allows the Psyche Guardian to establish strong and precise telepathic connections with all of its splits, regardless of distance. It can communicate complex thoughts and commands with clarity. It can even share the senses of its splits to allow it to obtain greater information about the split's host.
A-Enhanced Cognition: Those hosting the Psyche Guardian's true body may experience a profound increase in intelligence, allowing them to analyze and solve complex problems with ease. Their enhanced cognitive abilities will enable them to adapt quickly to new situations and develop advanced strategies.
A-Psychic Insight: With its heightened intelligence, the Psyche Guardian can detect and interpret hidden mental patterns. This allows it to predict the attacks of opponents before they occur.
B-Mind Shield: A protective barrier that the Psyche Guardian can generate to shield its host from mental attacks and intrusions. This shield provides substantial protection against psychic damage and enhances mental resilience.
C-Psyche Stabilizer: Under extreme stress or in hazardous conditions, the Psyche Guardian can allow its host to enter a state of mental focus that stabilize their mind.

Kain was extremely pleased by this evolutionary form. At least this showed him that the knowledge he had obtained in class was useful enough to produce a decent evolution.
However, he didn't think that he'd ultimately select this as Bea's evolution. Selecting this evolution would essentially convert Bea from an offensive spiritual creature to a support.
This evolution would allow Bea to greatly enhance Kain's mental strength and intelligence, and the improved telepathic abilities with the splits would be greatly beneficial for intelligence gathering, but then Bea will no longer be able to kill those that she infects.
If he selects this form, how would he even be able to complete that mission looming over his head? If he can't complete it, his very status as a student would be jeopardy.
Also, his combat style has become extremely reliant on Bea's ability to mass kill weaker creatures.
Kain decided to continue simulating.
