Is a housewarming party… like this? (2) – unedited
“Theron! Theron Abitz!”
The door she thought had been shut opened easily and Chenin entered the mansion, leaving footprints on the dusty carpet.
“Where are you?”
No human figure was to be found anywhere in the house. Only the chilly, creepy air enveloped her body.
Chenin, who was aware of Theron Abitz’s perverted psychotic behavior, never imagined that he would set foot in the mansion where the behavior was directly taking place. But she had no choice but to come to see Theron, who she had not seen his face for quite a long time.
There are things that could harm Chenin, such as who is trying to kill Erina Holden, why she is connected, and whether or not they have a connection with the Count Abitz family. If Erina showed any signs of using her to threaten Count Abitz, she was thinking of handing over the note immediately. Besides, she believed that Theron Abitz, the Count’s son surrounded by his desire, would be able to whip her weakened heart.
But
“Uuughh…… !”
The moment she turned the doorknob of his office, a disgusting smell vibrated. She turned her head and covered her nose to hold back the rising nausea.
“What is this smell …….”
The door, once opened, began to show the room, regardless of Chenin’s will.
Creak–
Chenin sat down on the spot. And the nausea she had barely endured came back up again and burst out of her mouth.
“Blergh-!”
After a while, Chenin barely endured the fact that she almost fainted, and stood up, pointing to the wall. The smirking Theron was no longer in the room, only his disgusting corpse buried in maggots welcomed Chenin.
Not knowing that her shoes had come off, Chenin rushed out of the mansion. The waiting coachman yawned in boredom and quickly supported Chenin in surprise.
“What’s the matter?”
“G, go now.”
“Where shall we go?”
“Fuck, where else would it be? The Abitz mansion!”
The image of Theron’s body came to mind, and Chenin wrapped her arm on herself in the carriage, struggling with disgust and fear.
Why, why was he dead?
He had so many things against life that it would be no wonder that he died suddenly, without a word, but he was not that simple enough that he could easily die. Even the soldiers escorting him were competent enough to compare with the top knights in the Empire.
As soon as she arrived at Count Abitz’s mansion, he immediately went to Count Abitz’s room. To announce that Theron Abitz was murdered.
“Count. It’s me, Chenin.”
Normally, he would say coldly for her to go back, but today for some reason the door opens. And as soon as she took one step into the room, the pain was so severe that her flesh felt like it fell off.
She stood blankly for a moment, not knowing what had happened, but she was able to realize it from her turned head, the noise of the attendant curling up, and the spewed swearing. She had just been slapped in the cheek.
“Dreadful bitch! I brought you from the countryside and let you enjoy luxury, but you can’t see even the intruders’ hair?!”
“… forgive me.”
“My banquet was ruined because of you wench! Our family will be followed by filthy gossip!”
“… forgive me.”
Did she come to the Count just to apologize?
Chenin raised her eyes and looked up at the Count. The Count’s eyes, whose reason was gone and was replaced with anger, looked like a psychopath.
‘If you find out that your son is dead, you’ll stick a knife in my chest without a care.’
Chenin was terrified. The weak one could not raise its claws and had to quietly lower its tail.
Silently listening to the verbal abuses pouring over her head, she erased from her mind the purpose of her visit to the Count. For Chenin, she could not speak in front of this beast, because she wanted to live first.
Knock–
A knock sounded like salvation.
“Count, the saint has come.”
It was when the wretched hand was about to land on her face again. Chenin didn’t have to cover her face.
“Tell me I’ll be right there. And you better wait for me here. Because I’m not done talking.”
Slap–
After wielding one last violence, the Count left the room.
Chenin that was left alone was completely lying on the floor. There was no such thing as ‘salvation’ in her life.
One of the attendants tried to support Chenin, but Chenin stubbornly refused his hand.
“Follow the Count. I can stand up on my own.”
The attendant withdrew and went out past Chenin in sympathy.
Tears welled up as she heard the door shut. But she couldn’t cry out loud, so she swallowed it in her throat. Her body aches, her heart bleeds, and her mind is shattered.
“… Fucking glutton bastard…….”
She wiped her tears away and blood came out.
“My lips hurt.”
Stumble—
She got up and walked to the sofa, but her footsteps stopped. The safe, which Count Abitz had cherished, caught her eye.
Occasionally, on the day of intercourse in the Count’s room, before intercourse, she would often see the Count putting documents in the safe after finishing his duties. At that time, she thought all she had to do was get the Count’s heart, so she didn’t have any interest in the safe that didn’t contain any money, but now, somehow, she was curious about this safe more than any other jewel.
She tried to shake the locked safe, but it couldn’t be opened. But Chenin was convinced. She’d be able to open this safe.
The Count’s brain is simpler than livestock, so he would not be able to hide the key in a difficult place. Moreover, he who forgets things as easily as he does on a daily basis won’t even carry the key with him.
“You idiot.”
Chenin found the key at once. She pulled out a book that was sticking out of the office bookshelf and looked inside to find the key was hidden inside the pages that were cut into the shape of a key.
