Eunie here!! Hi. I'm really sorry for the lack of update. I feel like I triggered a flag when I said I'll be posting 3 bonus chapters for 31st Consort. TToTT
The newbie from my work place messed up some things. Like important stuff and we were delayed big time because of her. So our boss got extremely mad and fired her right there and then. So... here's a little quiz: who is the one who shouldered the mess she did? Moi~ *winks*
I have to shoulder a workload for two people plus fix everything or well at least minimize the damages. I was so busy I literally had to live with our boss or at the office. Oh Just how much fun it was *dead*. Things have calmed down now but I'm still stuck with the workload of two people. tbh i wanna quit my job, do you guys know any flexible online home base job? *crossingmyfinger*I hope no one from my workplace is reading this novel**
Then midterms started this week and until next week I'll have midterms *killmealready*. OTL.
So I tried to squeezed up some time just to post an update. AND I'M REALLY SORRY FOR GOING AWOL AND FOR GETTING YOUR HOPES UP FOR 31ST CONSORT UPDATES, especially XY!!.
I'LL GO BACK ON DAILIES ONCE THINGS CALMS DOWN. (i'm just hoping I won't trigger any more flag so I'll stop here.) STATUS UPDATE: 46/95 yes...there's still no update for WN. haven't check any news about the LN T_T. I'm not sure if the author plans on making a third volume. It feels like she/he is...but at least we won't be left hanging for the second arc.
BTW any corrections or comments on my poorly constructed English grammar are most welcome ^^
ENJOY!!
Now then, I'll immediately start using the measuring cups and digital scale I just got. But first I'll be needing milk and granulated sugar.
And then I'll be measuring it using a bowl but... ...
"As expected. It sounds good"
Pouring the sugar into a metal bowl and a *chichichichi* sound is echoing as the small grains of the sugar hits it and when it piles up a bit, the change sounds to a smooth sounding *zaaaaa*
It's nothing much but it's really healing me a bit.
(Eunie: just like when you pour some hot water in an instant coffee and even though you are stirring it hard nothing spills. It's strangely satisfying-u-)
Then, I'll pour the already measured milk and granulated sugar into the one-hand pot and next is the vanilla beans.
Vanilla beans are black and it looks like a tree branch but it's a bit softer and inside it is a black grainy looking seeds. (Eunie: It's called a POD. *picture will be down below*)
That's why to get the pod out of the vanilla beans, I placed it on top of the chopping board and from the edge, I vertically sliced it down. Once the edge part opens up, I used the knife to scrape the pod from one end to the other of the vanilla beans. That way, I can get the pod from the vanilla beans. After doing that, I placed the pods I got inside the pot.
"Alright. Now it's time to heat it"
At times like this, the dennetsuki's slow startup is a little bit useful. Since now, I have to slowly heat the pot with the milk, sugar and vanilla beans.
