"Let her do as she pleases." Yvonne announced her next plan of action to the man who was now frozen in place.
Butler Limo could not believe the words that his young miss was speaking.
'Did I hear that right?' He was bewildered by her choice of words.
"Let her do as she pleases!?" He repeated her words incredulously and felt faint when he saw her nod.
'Is it hard for him to understand human language?' She stared at him with ridicule clear of her face.
This mocking gaze brought the Butler back to his senses as he let out a short cough.
"Does Miss realize what might happen if we let her do as she wished and do not hinder her?" He inquired with a doubtful look in his eyes.
After all, she was a child and she might not know what storms it might bring in her life if something were to happen.
Yvonne's nod made him frown as he had a dreadful feeling take over his heart.
What his young miss was asking of him was a strange and scary thing for him.
If he would stop intercepting Paula's attempts to get closer to the Earl then the chances of her succeeding would be higher and that was not good news.
He did not want a mere maid to become the cause of sorrow of either of his masters which was why he had been giving the wicked woman task after task to keep her busy these days.
Yvonne raised her brows when she saw the conflicted look on the man's face.
'Heh! Men!' She scowled but did not let her thoughts out.
Instead, she put on a pouting face as she shook her head while looking at him.
"So Butler Limo does not trust in Papa's love for Mama!" She exclaimed with certainty that almost made him puke out blood.
Who else would know better than him of how much the Earl loved the wife he had married against his father's wishes?
He was present when Rutherford had argued with his father and made a firm statement that he would only marry Raylene who was from a lower noble family instead of the woman whom his father had chosen from him.
Unlike the past where he had given up on his love for the sword, Rutherford did not give up on his love for this lovely woman.
In the end, the previous Earl was left with no other option but to wed his only son to the woman he loved.
Thinking of the memories of the past, Butler Limo was ashamed that he had ever thought that his Master would fall for the maid's tricks.
The place where they lived and its morality had made him doubt his Master's feelings.
It was not uncommon to hear that the noblemen kept women in their mansions to serve them in the bedroom.
However, this was something that the new King, King Ophire had looked down upon and these incidents were rare to hear.
Even when they were dwindling now, it was not forbidden in the laws to do so.
As long as they did not marry two women at the same time, everything else was fair game.
This was what had made Limo fearful, that his master would fall for her trap and end up doing something that he would regret for the rest of his life.
Yvonne had been watching his every expression and knew that he cared deeply for the man he served.
"Trust in Papa's love for Mama, Butler." She encouraged him with a smile.
Even though she said this, she was ready with a backup plan in her mind.
'If he does mess up then Mama and I can leave this house together.' She sneered if that ever happened.
The evil smile that had emerged on her face made shivers run down Butler Limo's spine as he fretted what might be bubbling up in her mind.
Placing his shuddering thoughts aside, he had another doubt in his mind which he wished to ask her.
"Even if we trust the Master, this does not mean that we can continue keeping such a wicked servant among us." He revealed the one thing that he desired to do for a long time now.
'Kick her out of the mansion at the earliest!' Was his one dream and goal which he was willing to work hard to achieve.
'His thoughts are clear on his face.' The little girl snickered when she saw his agitated face.
"I have a plan for that." She divulged the reason why she had initiated this topic in the first place.
She had seen the love that her father had for her mother.
It was visible in his words, actions, and most importantly in his eyes. The way he looked at her was as though she was the only woman for him.
'That is how a man should look at his wife and only his wife!' She praised him while mocking a certain husband in her memories at the same time.
The man in the script who had eyes on another woman who was not his wife had come to her mind which grossed her out.
Tossing that man's thoughts out of her mind, she got back to the matter at hand.
"We need to make Mama realize that Paula is not the same innocent little girl who grew up with her." She revealed her grand scheme.
No matter how much she trusted her father, this did not mean that she would let that ticking time bomb named Paula to remain within their house.
Right now, she had not taken any drastic steps to harm their family life but one may never know what happens in the future.
'There was no mention about this in the script so I have no idea what might happen if we do not act now.' She clenched her teeth as she strengthened her resolve.
"Paula's weaknesses and her malicious thoughts need to be exposed… Only then will my mother give up on her." She expanded on her previous statement.
The fact that Raylene had continued to protect and pamper Paula even after the incidents of her past disobedience proved that she had a soft corner for the maid.
The trust that was built for the past twenty-odd years was still strong in her heart, sadly the woman in question did not deserve that trust in the least bit.
'Unless her ugly face and horrible intentions are proven, she will remain under Mama's protection.' She sighed because this was the truth.
A sentimental woman like Raylene needed to be splashed with the cold water of harsh truths and only then would she realize that the woman she had been trusting all these years was trying to snatch her husband's love away from her.
"No one should know that we are working towards exposing Paula's real intentions." The little girl narrowed her eyes as she warned him.
Butler Limo had understood the reasoning behind her odd commands and did not question her judgment any further.
'I place the future peace of this mansion into your hands, little miss.' He thought solemnly as he decided to stand by her side in this endeavor.
