"She can be slow like that."
Hearing these words of denunciation the little girl had uttered against her mother made the Butler cough insistently.
The Madam was chastised by her daughter which had taken him by surprise thus bringing out a coughing fit.
Butler Limo had no idea about the profound thoughts that had been revolving in the little girl's head but his coughs had distracted her from those thoughts which she did not appreciate one bit.
"Do you have a problem in your throat? You keep coughing every time we speak." Yvonne stared at the old man with sneering eyes.
'It is your words that make me choke on thin air, Miss!' He lamented for the false allegations placed on his head.
However, he could never retort to her so all he could do was bow his head while asking for her pardon.
"I shall get it checked later, Miss. Pardon me for now." He requested and sighed when he saw her not prolonging this matter any longer as she waved her hand to dismiss his offense.
"What you have said makes sense…" Yvonne began but soon trailed off.
'I was planning to let her realize things on her own which would bring about a self epiphany, the most effective way for her to see her past mistakes.' She recalled why she had asked the Butler to let the maid do as she pleased without interfering.
Sadly, now she had to change her mind after hearing the Butler's argument against her plan.
"If that is the case then we can give her a nudge to speed up the process for her." She proposed while rubbing her chin.
Butler Limo felt like he was floating on the clouds up above as this meant that the filthy maid could be kicked out of the mansion sooner than what he had expected.
"I will help you to come up with plans to let Madam know the true face of her maid!" He announced his contribution to this just cause.
With this discussion coming to an end with the Butler's willingness to come up with new strategies, Yvonne's work here was mostly done.
Raising from her seat, she walked towards the horse who was looking her way.
Demon had completed his meal while his Master was engrossed in her conversation with the kind man who fed and washed him each day.
Thus the sensible beast did not disturb them and waited in silence for them to complete whatever it was that demanded their attention.
Now, it was his turn to be the center of his Master's attention when he saw her walking towards him.
Yvonne raised her hand and ran her palm over his soft coat which was surprising since horses had stiff hair on their body when compared to the mane.
However, Demon's hair was subjected to the constant care and maintenance of the Butler who did not skip on a single day to tend to his needs.
"Aren't you the smoothest boy in town?" She praised while hugging his neck.
This brought out a cheerful neigh from the etcher who was overjoyed after feeling his Master's embrace.
Butler Limo handed the little girl the brush before placing a stool next to the horse for her to stand on.
Then the two of them began brushing the horse's hair while Yvonne kept conversing with the horse who had been an exceptional help to her in achieving success in the first trial.
Yvonne spent a few minutes with her etcher before she was reminded by Butler Limo that it would be time for the evening tea in less than an hour.
"I have to practice Piano!" She exclaimed in her panic as she jumped off the stool.
Both Limo and Demon had similar expressions of horror on their faces when they saw the child's reckless attitude.
These two were answerable to higher authorities and were frightened that she might hurt herself, extracting the wrath of the higher ones.
For Limo, it was his Master, Earl Rutherford St. Claire while for Demon, it was the God who created this world himself.
After Asmodeus had commanded the etcher to take good care of his Master, Demon had become even more protective of the child than he ever was.
"I'm alright…" Yvonne uttered while staring at them with suspicion.
'All I did was jump off a step stool, not a skyscraper… Not that this world even has one.' She rolled her eyes at their exaggerated reactions.
"Rest well and don't over-exert yourself by roaming around until you are perfectly fine!" The little girl commanded her etcher while rebuking him for his habit of strolling throughout the mansion grounds.
Demon grunted a couple of times as though he was feeling wronged by her accusations but did not dare to pursue this case when he saw her glaring at him.
'Such a big beast but you are scared of that little girl.' Butler Limo lowered his head to hide his curved lips from the etcher and etched pair.
"Can you finish this?" Yvonne inquired while looking at the man who was clearly holding in his laughter.
It took him a few seconds before he realized that she was talking about brushing the remainder of Demon's coat all alone.
"Yes, Miss. Please leave this to me!" He assured that he would do a great job at grooming the horse like he always did.
The Young Miss nodded at him and then patted the horse's long nose one last time before she strode out of the stable.
'To the Piano room!' She declared as she stepped ahead with vigor and enthusiasm.

On the branch of a tree not far away were seated two birds who were supposed to have left this world by now.
However, they were still here and were watching from afar as the little girl walked back into the mansion.
Theo glanced at his Master who continued to stare at the child even after she had disappeared from their field of view.
"Master?" The little white bird called out to him.
Asmodeus, who had been deep in thoughts, was awakened and turned his head to look at the younger one.
His silent glance was enough for the disciple to grasp that he had received permission to speak.
"Are you not going to meet her?" Theo inquired in a cautious manner, worried that he might anger his Master by saying the wrong words.
Surprisingly, he was not snarled at nor was he mocked as he had expected.
In fact, Asmodeus did not yell at him in any manner as he turned his head back towards the entrance of the mansion.
"This isn't the right time to do so." The God muttered in a low voice as he raised his wing in the air.
Though Theo could not comprehend the meaning hidden in those vague words, he recognized the actions that his Master was making at this moment.
A big hole appeared in the air before them which was invisible to everyone else but them.
"Back to where we were…" Asmodeus mumbled and in the next second, the two birds leaped into the portal which would lead them back to where they had come from.
