[Obsidian Shot] [Sapphire Sniping]
A streak of black and blue lights blasted out of the revolvers. Both guns bucked hard enough that they'd were almost ripped out of Cole's hands. The recoil from both shots was almost too powerful for Cole to handle.
The shot from blue obsidian was a shot born from power, it smashed into the chest of the tree lamia, flinging it's body backwards and into the air as it's chest was blasted into pieces with a massive hole left behind it. Then from the center of the hole, black crystals spread out, blasting through out every inch of it's body before exploding into hundreds of crystalized pieces.
[Sapphire Sniping]
Had not been meant for the tree lamia, further back was another one, rushing to come to the aid of the two Cole and Morgan just turned to firewood and wood chips. The bullet took it in the head, bringing a stop to it's entire forward motion.
The inertia from the mood caused it to crash to the ground, going head over heels… sorry trunk, as it smashed through a tree before coming to a stop. However smashing through that tree had caused a bit of problem as a learning wail was heard across the entire orchard. It was almost as if all of the trees were part of a single organism and hurting any of it was equivalent to hurting whatever creature that was responsible for that horrible sound.
Morgan pounced on his own opponent then used his paws to pry her jaws open. The mini gun at the side of his body swiveled down and aimed straight into the Lamias gullet, the he opened fire. Morgan sprayed and lead into the body of the creature, ripping it's head to shreds and much of it's torso too.
[You have slain 3x Serpentine Dryads. +6000 Exp.]
Cole heard the tell tale ding that signified he had leveled up, but this was the second one today as he had gotten another after the fight with the cows. While combat on this floor was a lot harder due to the stronger enemies, it was a whole lot more generous with Exp than it was for the previous floor.
*Dum! Dum! Dum! Dum!*
There was deep vibration on the ground along with the Advent of something really dangerous heading their way. Cole did not stand on ceremony, but he paused as he noticed one of the Dryads had dropped an iron ranked prism. He picked it up then looked behind him where the sounds was coming from, having his eyes widened as a dryer ten times larger than the ones he had just faced, slithered towards him.
"Morgan run!" Cole ordered as the Direwolf blasted forwards, his speed dislodging earth as he attempted to put space between his master and the monster following. But it was drawing closer and the only other place Cole had to run was deeper into the orchard, and the only thing there was the factory and the manor.
He pulled his rifle to the front and turned around just in time to see a massive snake has stretching to epic proportions in order to swallow both him and his mount whole. Cole quickly activated [Spectral Rover] buying him and Morgan time to get away, but not be much. However, Cole did have time to attack and dissuade the massive tree shaped in the form of a living breathing snake from eating him.

*Bang! Bang!*
Cole didn't know how, but in a move that absolutely shocked him, even under the time slowing effect of Spectral Rover, the massive snake turned it's body to the side. Moving it's head out of the path of the bullets as they slammed into it's body and brought it's form to a shuddering halt as the bullets went through its body to come out of the other side.
Cole felt a drain on his energy, but that was enough to have successfully brought him out of it's range, and straight past the threshold of the manor as Morgan blasted through its massive double doors and crashed into the form of the massive orc that had been bracing the doors and placing barricades on it.
Cole was flung off Morgan's back, but his body twisted in the air as he turned and landed on a piano that had seen better days and was covered in cobwebs.
He was in the standard posture of a super hero landing and he raised his head to see the massive snake's eyes staring at him through the entrance, spooking him and almost ruining the ambience of his very epic landing.
The snake let loose a loud hiss that caused a rumble across the entire manor. For some reason the snake could not attack the manor, if not it was more than large enough and powerful too, to bring the building down. But it stared at Cole for way too long before a deep and eerie voice was heard.
And while he was hearing it with his ears, the snakes mouth was not moving, making it even more creepier and horror like than Cole could possibly handle right now…..he absolutely hated snakes, he was more terrified of them than anything.
The only reason he was able to face the earlier dryads was because they at least looked half human, but if they were fully snakes, it would have been a wild fight filled with terror as Cole would have been completely unable to focus.
"hisssssss I will take great pleasure in killing you…. Creeeaaaaturessssss." Cole raised an eyebrow at that, being scared of a snake, especially a giant snake was one thing. But people threatening him was a recipe for Disaster, and he showed that by flipping the snake off.
"I will cut your head off and mount as a trophy on my ship. And then I will use your insides to make soup." He said as he came down from the table and pointed his rifle at the snake, who hissed and moved back, giving Cole a little bit more distance and getting out of the way not his shot.
"You will payssssssss!" the snake hissed out.
"Well you first Satan!"
